Well i hate to say it but Nokia has won the 5 megapixel race with N95 8GB as shown in the GSMarena comparison.

Dont look at the second page, first look at all the pictures and decide for yourself which phone has the best pictured A,B,C or D. Then check the voting results.
- Test with Samsung G600, isnt G800....
- Nokia N95 8GB isnt have big different about normal N95....
The Nokia N95 8GB is the revamped edition of the extremely popular Nokia smartphone. It features the same 5 megapixel camera and it also has the same image processing that we saw with the latest firmware version of the Nokia N95 classic - that means a little bit less sharpening and a lot more speed. The camera lens no longer has a cover, so always take good care of cleaning your lens. With the N95 you can count on good-quality VGA video recoded at 30 fps.
http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_g800-review-197p7.php
This is K850 comparison with G800 and the G800 has won in picture quality and optical zoom. So i think if your going to buy a 5 MP phone you'll have to choose from G800 or N95 since both are better than K850.

@ Number1 and Guto_ViP
1.In low light condition (all auto,no flash) some pictures are with real collors, some are not, some are again real...I don`t know why....
2.With flash....,default exposure is little bit low and too much red,I think...
3.The same is with Twilight lanscape...
4.When in macro and turn on auto, first pic is out of focus....
Can we make something about 1,2,3 and 4....?
5.In good light condition pictures are great-real collors,no noise....best pics ever I`ve made with my phone....
Thank you!

with 22fps it's not gonna be perfect but it's alot better than it was

So, 22fps video is responsible for Bestpics's bug?
Isnt better change for 18fps or less?
I dont carer if video recording have 22, 30 or 35 fps, because K800 have a poor quality video recording but have a good power picture shot, and that is important for me!

yea 20fps is fine, less zoom bug bestpic works 100% but people like more video fps 22fps is the maxuim anything over that and you can't control the video.
Posted by Guto_ViP
And what need do to change for 20 fps?
Posted by jomateixa
For me the best quality/zoom control ratio is at 18 fps.
Posted by toyds
@Number1 : how to change the video recording fps to 18fps?
thanks a lot

Yeah, I agree with Guto. Even I don't use the video recording at all with this phone. Just use it to take pictures.
Hopefully you'll release another version which doesn't cause the BestPic bug.
Thanks, number1.

Is anyone else having problems focusing in twilight landscape mode? Sorry, I'm quite new with camera drivers. It seems that the camera does not auto focus, has very slow movement response time, and does not focus (only in twilight landscape mode). Any help would be great! Thanks all.

Number1 could you force flash in document mode? Im using this scene for taking pictures of docs and when flash fire its not powerfull as make paper bright. I need more Power for flash. I know your settings is for focusing in short distances and in about half metre flash is useless. Could you mod driver for taking photos of documents with flash?

There's really no end to this quest for perfection. Lots of camdrivers have been posted. some people like them, while others do not.
We should consider primarily the phone's capabilities. Pushing it to become more than what it is meant to be is just like trying to make a vessel out of a piece of metal.
There's really no account for one's taste. LOL!
Peace to all, Merry Christmas!

Pic using #1 2.92 All settings = Auto
What's that purple mark? Ps. I always keep my cam squeaky clean so it can't be the protective lens.

Hey guys, especially number1..
just wanna share some photos i took with number1's new driver.. I just tweaked a little of the settings e.g. the multi AF window tweak and some sharpness changes, and the results are amazing.. So this is a toast for your hard work number1..
and for those who are still not sure which driver is the best, undoubtedly is number1! i'm using 2.91 with some personal mods..
these are 2MP photos, as i believe there's more usable material in 2MP photos for my k810i.

I havent tried 2.92 yet, but i will do that soon. keep up the good work number1!

2.91 vs. 2.92
2.91, All auto
2.92, All auto
I think that the previous one (2.91) is better! And you?
Posted by killerPK
When i used 2.92 in Landscape mode, the camera reset when I took a picture. I think the compression code needs to be changed.

the colour/sharpness/picture quality is the same in all my 2.9 drivers you will never take 2 pics that are exactly the same anyway, theres no point comparing 2.9 with 2.91 or 2.92, i wrote what i changed.
