For me the last driver 2.99 SE is better than previous. May be yuo do soemthing wrong in settings.
But i think i found a bug in last driver. When take pictures in AUTO mode is ok, but when change to Twilght portrait and take a pictures ...after that return to AUTO mode....settings for Twilght portrait remain in Auto mode. I do this 3 times and that is happend. Any one have this problem?

I will check the version info, i have no bugs with switching scenes, the newer version has better flash pics with less noise and reduced red background, 1 of ur pics didn't focus properly

i found a bug, try switching to video mode without night mode on..then switch back to camera mode.

camera mode (auto) retains the fps of the video mode.if im correct

Posted by bryanjay420
did you apply ultimates special effects on portrait and twililight landscape mode???

i i dont like that special effects thats why i go back to your 2.99...

if u apply those effects to your driver i think thats not good

this is k800's bug, not camdriver bug.

my portrait mode is the same as always i just limited the iso for less noise, twilight landscape is the same as always, just twilight portrait has a long flash shutter speed it can be useful for lighting up big areas, i never notice a bug between switching from video to viewfinder.

whether it's a k800i bug or camdriver bug i don't have it, it's working fine for me.

Number1 your document mod is very helpful then I need to photo my part before test

Posted by bryanjay420
the driver says that its 2.227

is it common??

[ This Message was edited by: bryanjay420 on 2008-03-12 14:39 ]

Posted by number1
yes it appears to be a small bug, in the driver i set it to display
2.995 in hex 2.3E3, i have no idea why the phone reads it as 2.227

EDIT: i figured it out it will only read 2 values so it was only reading E3 which is 227, i updated the link in the first with the correct version info it should now show 29.95.

I hope that you understand me .. please answer and sorry for my bad english :S

Normal_scene has a maxium of 1/6 sec shutter speed (standard driver it's 1/8)
Portrait_scene has a maxium of 1/5 sec shutter speed (standard cam driver it's 1/8)
Landscape_scene isn't changed
Twilight_landscape_scene has a maxium of 1 sec shutter speed (standard cam driver it's 1/2)
Nightportrait has a maxium of 1/4 sec shutter speed (standard cam driver it's 1/8)
Beach_snow_scene isn't changed
Sport_scene isn't changed
Document_scene has a maxium of 1/6 sec shutter speed (standard driver it's 1/8)

in my driver the shutter is open longer in low-light than most other drivers thats why you need to be more still, but are you telling me with auto mode you can't hold the phone still a extra 0.2seconds.

Posted by ssnopyybg
Ok , im the problem .. maybe ma hands "shake" .. in suuny day ( when the light is enought ) i havent this problem .. btw the driver is very good But me - no

Can i ask something?Did you ever implemented in your drivers a slower or faster exposure time that was selectable with the joystick?I remember that i was playing with those things and i took some great photos with them with a very minimum light...

hi,
I just bought a k790i and i was not pleased with the noise reduction of the pictures the camera puts on images.
I need to know the process to back up the original camera driver or whatver is going to be changed if i try to install the new camera drivers 2.99 or so.
I had searched this forum for backing up but it is very confusing to me as i am not a modder and just a simple guy.
i had downloaded the XS++ software and most others linked here.
i am just intimidated, if i ruined my new phone that'd be bad.
I would appreciate the link here.
thanks

dan

Just a quick and simple question... I am a beginner at updating camera driver. The procedure seem simple but for safety, how do I backup my current driver?

of corse not everyone will like my camdriver i made it for me so it has all the settings i prefer not the settings that you prefer, i just posted it up to share with the people with will also like my settings.
you sound like a grounded 8 year-old, "your camdriver doesn't suit me" would have been a alot more grown-up thing to say.
