I think not many people talk about SE K770i and its camera capabilities. Here are few pictures of K770i shot with macro mode. Well I'm not an expert, so don't blame me for picture quality

Excellent quality - that's how it's supposed to be!

I actually started a thread for pictures taken by the K770 a while back. Here it is: http://mobile.esato.com/viewtopic.php?topic=159259&forum=2

I too, feel that the K770 seems to be a little too low profile.

Hi Deluded, The Picture of Motorola phone show "Hapus" menu
are you from Indonesia or Malaysia?

@marbolec, I think you're mistaken, the picture was not posted by me. I do not currently own a K770, much as I would like to. I started that thread as I saw there wasn't one for the K770. I'm from Singapore, by the way, so not too far off. Where are you from?

Posted by marbolec
I'm from Jakarta

I see... Well, if you have any pictures taken by the K770, do upload them here, would love to check them out.

Here are some photos taken with K770i (R8BA024) in Macro Mode (reduced to VGA size) :

Those pictures look very good! I must say I'm impressed. I'm surprised that the K770 is still so low-profile after this long.

thanks!

@rifqi - Nice shots !

k770i is really a "Cybershot Phone"
those pictures are very good

may i add more?
i think k770 has better lens than k800/k810. the interpolation of the image is so good - you don't see artifacts in edges like in k800/k810 pics.

*cropped from the full size images, with actual ratio*
k770

k800

all taken with k770. r8ba, taiwan. no editing, just resizing with Photoshop, save as web image.

last but not least.. it's really a superb macro in room lighting.

it's really a Cybershot.

Complete review. K800 cam vs K770's.

nice, a k770 cam topic

I was wondering about the difference between using the dedicated camera button (what do you call this anyway? shutter button?) and the central button on the d-pad when taking shots. Am I correct to assume that their difference is that when you use the dedicated button, you can focus and then move the camera around while in focus, with the d-pad button, the camera will focus then take the shot immediately?

In the metering mode article on wikipedia, it mentioned that in spot metering, you can move and point to another subject after metering another one. Is this one use of the dedicated cam button?

wonder wat is the difference between metering mode and the normal mode.. looks quite the same.

Yes, that is one thing.
The other thing is you can half press the button (while unsteady, not so steady), then prepare yourself better, be steady then take the full press e.g. you can hold your breath quicker than if you take the shot with the D-pad.

The D-pad takes you to stay steady longer since you have to be steady also when the cam focusing.

Hope you get it.

Never tried it. But I'd like to give it a shot. Thanks for the info anyway.
