Posted by haynesycop

Posted by Daedalus85
Don't pay more than £29.99 for it really, thats how much we still have the T250i for, plus the standard tenner credit of course
Posted by haynesycop
Oh no i wouldn't i'm thinking around £20 if that, got a few phones i want to get, start a little collection or what i like to call, a pension.
Posted by Daedalus85

I'm going to have a seperate room in my mansion and it'll be my collection, with loads of big glass cabinets filled with every phone ever made

hmm tempted to buy the 5300 £29.99 on Virgin
thing is will it work with a Mobile world sim card?
I could do with a Vodafone one tbh cos I don't wanna have to spend £20 unlocking it Vodafone will do that for nowt for me + im already on the network
James I could of had yours a few months ago it broke my heart watching you sell it
Posted by Daedalus85
I know, I was thinking that earlier, sometimes I wish I'd kept it, but my motto is get them gone before the value goes down
Posted by Bonovox
I know its off topic but has anyone seen the Nokia 6300 at CPW its now in chocolate colour. Jesus its getting as bad as the RAZR.
Posted by Daedalus85
It's popular, it's selling well past it's shelf life, so they may as well, people will buy it
Simiar though, in the fact their both simple and stylish, both metal casing, both attractive and both good priced for their day.
Posted by pmerryman
Nice little phone the 6300, and now in brown, mmmmmm. I think the black looks better than the silver.
Posted by Bonovox
Yeah black is better looking one. They are only doing an S500i now in Floral Colours aswell.
Posted by bearcub24
Seen the choco Nokia 6300 in the flesh and it looks pretty good, its got a brown version of the "nior" theme which suits it well. Think it must be a Carphone Warehouse exclusive as on the box CPW is prominent in the imei label, totally unbranded too as most CPW stock. Looks to me like they are using left-overs from the Nokia 6301 parts bin

Thats the prob with phones even if you keep them a week or 2 they tend to drop £5
Btw Virgin are selling the 5200 with 1GB Card, and £10 airtime credit on sim for £29.99 went to look at it earlier but the guy told me its locked to there network and it would need unlocking to actually work on Mobile World (ala T-Mobile) pants I thought and left the Zavvi store
the 6300 would be intresting in Pink
I would love a new backup phone but ive had my warning
No No No....
Posted by Bonovox
6300 is very reliable phone
Posted by Miss UK
So was my 6100 till I dismantled it earlier and replaced the chassis,
ive bugged up the Vibra part don't work anymore
so has anyone got any LOW LOW Prices of phones £15? say

BARGAIN ALERT
Sony Ericsson Cybershot C902 PAYG £259.95 (£239.96 with trade in) at CPW (unlocked)
Goto CPW, give them an O2 PAYG number and an old trade-in, they will knock £20 off, if you try to buy the C902 Sim free from CPW they are quoting £300.
Good deal as these are going for around £300 on shebay!!!!

Posted by Bonovox
One thing to mention is to remember that if you buy a new phone in an O2 store as an pay and go upgrade on same number you dont have to do the top up. Plus ya get upgrade reward.

Sorry, very very wrong.
CPW you can get away with that, but if your O2 store is not enforcing top ups with upgrades, they can get in serious trouble. It's heavy company policy to sell top ups with ALL pay as you go phones, and has been for at least 8 months now.
The W380i is £39.95 on Orange + £10 top up at CPW by the way
Posted by Bonovox
Im not wrong. I have done many upgrades on pay and go in an O2 store. What they have told me everytime is if i have an upgrade reward on my account i dont have to do top up. If there is no reward you have to do the top up thats whats happened everytime trust me i know. They take the other sim out of the box as your using your existing one and they always told me i dont have to do it. Thats the truth i know i have done it so many times.
Posted by Daedalus85
Your telling me, the guy whos worked there for nearly two flippin years, that I'm wrong?
Like I said, if they're not doing it, they're in serious trouble. It's an audit requirement and if they're not doing in there in knee-deep-shit. It's been company policy for many months now and should be being enforced. If you're somehow getting it, good for you, but they shouldn't be, so when they suddenly stop don't kick up a stink, you're just lucky they've gotten away with it so far.

Jesus calm down i was only telling you what happened with my upgrades. Im getting bored now
Posted by Bonovox
Oh and you cannot get away with not doing top with Carphone stores. Sorry everyone i know its slipped off topic. All im saying is what has happened and what O2 have done everytime i upgraded in store. Its something they told ME. And my last purchase when this happened was less than one month ago. Sorry i never meant to say OH YOUR WRONG but i just meant to tell you what i know and whats happened with me. Never mind not the end of the world. Back to topic.
