Posted by 5nak3
Post edited, thanks Miss UK, and actually since you mentioned Woolworths i saw a Vodafone locked SE cant remember the model prefix but it was *610i, possibly a v610i?! anyhoo you also got some SE travel speakers all for £79.99 down from £149.99.
But i guess you're also getting a load of vodafone branding on the phone as well.

its probably the
610i (with an orange back) as there is no such model as the v610i Posted by PeterKay
Went to Woolworths myself during lunch time, they have the V630i with free speakers at £79.99 half price it said, don't think its much of a bargain realistically as the phones are quite cheap on shebay!
unless the free speakers are made of gold???
lol

I'm so naughty
Just got myself a Snow Silver E590 for £39.95, just after I posted my K610im and Z400 off for £40.
Haven't opened it yet, but I'll let you know if it's any good in a few hours
Next up for sale, my Nokia 5610! I know I love it to pieces, but it's just going to sit here and devalue otherwise. Best sell it while it's still fresh!

Have they got something against o2.

Carphone warehouse clearance items are either used/ex demo or refurbished I believe, I've noticed some of them listes on their website are dearer than the new models, surely a mistake?
Posted by Daedalus85
The T650i, as lovely as it is, is the same phone as the K770i, which is £99.99 in T-Mobile.
This is not so much a phone bargin as it is a network bargin, but related.
Text the word ORANGE from any Orange pay as you go phone to the number 60040, and you'll get anywhere between £1 and £5 free credit as a lucky dip! I got a fiver on my new E590, and my other half got £1 on his. Not bad if you ask me
Posted by Miss UK
did you buy 2x of those E590's then james
thats not on how you got a Fiver and your partner got £1 lol
@ Perry, I don't know why they don't stock 02 handsets maybe they've had a bust up with them or something
Posted by Daedalus85
Na, he already had an old Orange sim from his first phone, Siemens A55 free from Avon lol
He keeps it ticking cause the numbers cool, it ends in 007
It's like a lucky dip thing. Not bad cause all I'm going to use my Orange sim for is Orange Wednesdays, so thats now 125 buy one get one free vouchers for the cinema lol

£169.99 in reality for a new K850i

v8 same price at cpw better option if it unlocked

The BlackBerry Pearl 8100 sim - free doesn't look a bad price in Play.com sale. Anyone on here set up a sim - free one before?
Posted by Seanyb2
Has anyone noticed Currys dont stock O2 phones too. Not sure why cos Currys are part of same group who used to also be The Link stores. The Link had deals with O2.
Posted by bearcub24
The Link high street stores did sell O2 phones, but shortly after closing there shops Link online stopped selling O2 also, don't know why. Don't think Play.com stock O2 PAYG either.
Posted by PeterKay
Full page of O2 prepay phones from Play.com

Oops
Posted by PeterKay
not to worry
T250i £29.99 i think is not bad from O2
Posted by 5nak3
@Daedalus85
Well i text ORANGE to 60040 and i ended up with 50 free sms...not of much use since i have unlimited with my o2 sim, but i might just waste the sms somehow.

Ahh, but are you on Pay as you go or contract?
If you're on contract I guess it would make sense to get free texts instead of credit. If not, dunno.
Currys probably aren't allowed to sell O2 due to the fact when they sold off their The Link business to O2, they pretty much severed any links they had left with the network due to the assumption they wouldn't reenter the market.
BTW, their bringing The Link brand back, as a concession within Currys larger stores.
Z310i is £29.99 at O2 (+ £10 credit), which is pretty good.
Posted by 5nak3
no no, i'm on pay as you go on orange. Oh well like i said not a big problem i'll find a use for the messages even if that means sending out random text messages half way during the night.

You get buy one get one free on cinema tickets in almost any major cinema (Cineworld, Odeon etc).
And he's already on contract, got him half price on T-Mobile Flext a few years back, and the upgrade each year we sell to pay off the contract.
He just keeps the Orange one for Orange wednesdays and cause he's never had a reason to disconnect it or anything really.

£15pm 300mins/300txts from Virgin - Not bad! No lengthy contracts......
If you want all the great stuff a contract brings, but with more freedom, the Liberty SIM from Virgin Mobile is just right for you. It's the best of both worlds:
Pick up more minutes and texts than you would with a contract
Like 300 minutes and 300 texts for £15 a month
Keep your phone and number
Have complete freedom - you aren't tied-in to a lengthy contract
Plus some neat extras like free voicemail in the UK and free itemised online statements.
