N95 does not have a built-in accelerometer.
So, how does it work?

I think it works on any smartphone with a camera...it doesnt neet a accelerometer...just open the shutter of your camera. Also i don't think this can be used while moving around.Couple of days back,i saw a guy on tv playing a ice skate game in a non accelerometer enabled phone...he said it works on camera phones.
There is a beta version of rotateme for UIQ
http://www.bysamir.fr/rotateme/UIQ/
sadly,i dont have an account with symbiansigned.com(any help in getting me a pvt email id appreciated)

I don't know about N95 Black.
But in the video they are using N95 Original.
I have one beside me here, and it does not have a accelerometer built in.

So how does this, this and this work then?

sorry london andy but the n95 original does have an accelerometer built in.
Nokia never mentioned it when it was first released, but have more recently released the api which alows developers to program things using it

Wow, that was news to me.
Thanks for enlighten me.

London Andy, it was implemented in N95 so that the phone can rotate the pics taken in the right way automatically. For example, if you shot a pic in landscape mode, if you see it in your gallery it will be rotated so that you can see it in landscape mode despite the fact that at the moment you hold your phone in portrait mode.

Can we get back to topic please??
That guy made a rotateme for UIQ phones(non-accelerometer phones)...and he also posted some screenshots. Can anyone sign the application and test it??

The rotateme 2.0 application has been old new now
I don't think NokMote can work without Accelorometer ...
