I tried that trick again in a fastfood this morning. Saw me a 3650, even edited a part saying he/ she has to shout BEE HAPPY to be able to avail of the freebee. (Actually, i just wanted to see who is making a fool of themselves). But "FAIL TRANSFER TO NOKIA 3650". What could i be doing wrong. Even a contact doesn't get thru. I really have to wait for this bluesweeping software. Bummer.

Alright...ive been trying to finish reading all these posts for a long ass time before i posted.
I ve been trying to bluejack for a while and i haven't had any success...maybe i'm doing something wrong, you guys who have a P800 and were successful, please enlighten me.
Here's what i do:
First i made some bogus contacts to send to people.
Second when i'm out and about at school mainly (Student union nightclub, parties, out in town, etc)I go to the contacts menu and select the desired contact to be sent then i do a "send as" and then select Bluetooth, it then proceeds to do the search and I ve been extremely lucky at finding bricks (7650's and 3650's) but everytime i select them and it initializes the pairing, it fails. I guess that could be because they have rejected it or have walked away or something got int he way. I haven't had a success yet. It's worth mentioning that i keep BT on auto so i don't have to turn it on everytime i'm trying to Bluejack.
My question to you all is...should i do a search before? that is go to the control panel, select the connections tab, then go to bluetooth? or should i just keep trying to do it the way i do it?
Also tonight at the club (it was packed) i did what i usually do and found myself "Chris's 3650" and tried sending the contact....same thing started doing it and then said failed...that means the person rejected it right?? i'm sure they must have, first because the fact that they changed the name of phone acknowledges the fact they know they BT, second it was a stupid devil contact (do they get to see what is written?).
I also found a 7650 but always same story, the pairing fails when i select them to send the contact.
Are these nokia phones able to see "jotter" notes??? if i saved a few funny notes and did the usual send as BT, would they be able to see it??
I'll keep me faith in me ability to slay the evil demon that is nokia and become a true BT Knight!!
@ Ajack: I can't wait for the "bluesweep" program to be done, that way it might give me more success. Keep us well posted...i check the thread religiously now...i'm looking for the Bluejacking nirvana!I came up with an idea also, is there any way that we could have a radar implemented? i know this would make us into Bluejacking freaks...but it would be something like an application that turns your BT every so often or all the time and searches and when it finds a prey, it wanrs you with a beep, vibration or what not...of course you would probably get bluejacked a lot yourself unless u had a massive BT firewall
Anyways i know i'm getting way into this...y'all just let me know what's up...peace out

@fonzki the 3650 has d option to cancel any msgs dat is sent via BT. I tried this wid my brother's 3650. He has a choice either to accept or cancel. I think its the same wid the 7650.

@all: Just an update on SMan's Bluesweep. The bluetooth stack is so buggy that a sweep only last about 4 hours after which the stack hangs. Working on workarounds for this...

well i tryed bluejacking tuesday and didnt have much success i found a few phones a printer and a headset.
i had a play with a Ipaq in the o2shop and found my phone (i had set to descoverable while i was playing) and the 6310i that was next to me.
in the T-mobile shop i found the HP bluetooth printer and a T68i(god knows how )
and some dude using a BT headset i picked thaT up aswell
i must try out that 0 pin thing in the T-mobile printer after i get my communicam

I had theperfect opertunity 2 bluejack my boss 2day but i forgot his dann 8310 doot have bt he even had his phone in his hand u would think workin in a restaurant i could bluejackeasy but no they either dont have bt or im 2 far away.

After a long run of unsucessful bluejacking attempts, finally today I've managed to stalk a Siemens dude
I was on a ferry boat when I spoted this dood holding a shinny S55 and right at that moment I made a BT search.
I was expecting to have a Siemens S55 on screen but it turned out to be a strange 0001E3091A55 :shock:
Since he was a Siemens owners and Siemens guys are a cool brotherhood, I didn't send him any nasty stuff, just this ->

Nevertheless, it has been a while since I haven't tasted the rush of stalking a BT enabled phone owner

iīve got often visitencards on my P800 and Nokia 7650. Many people in Germany have fun with bluejacking. How can i see the "undiscoverable devices" wenn i see a Bluetooth Device and can not discover it. Have someone programs to see invisible bluetooth devices?

Hello,
iīve this problem to often, i see a device and like to send a visitencard and the phone owner escape the BT sending area. Does anybody know a fone with more sending capacity? The Firm "AVM" have a Bluetooth Fritz dongle with 100meters sending area, but only for Notebooks/PCs. In the Cellphones are only 10meters BT area. How can i tune it for more sending capacity?

i dont think you can "tune" your BT chip as the anteni isnt strong enuff to get the whole 100m
if you look at the 100m BT dongle it has an external anteni of about 4cm

The best is, i buy a small subnotebook with an USB 100meter dongle But everybody can see the subnotebook. A cellphone can i hide without that other people can see my cellphone.

ok first you take the pic like you do normally and save it into the mypics folder on the phone(i cant guide you on this part as i dont have a camera)
then you got mypictures (menu 4,2)
select the picture you wanna send
press the options button (one under yes)
select option 5 "send"
select option 2 "bluetooth"
it will then do a scan and find the BJacked phone. select the Bjacked phone and it will send a message comes up on the BJacked phone saying something along the lines of.
T68i bluejacker is sending a picture what do you wish to do.
1)accept
2)add to paired
3) decine
if they select option 1 they will recive the pic
if they select option 2 they will be greeted by a passcode
option 3 will send your phone a message "sending failed"

l did it once about a year ago in heathrow airport l sent porn to a jap...it was hard to hold in the hilarity..he was using a 7650 viking warboat..with my p800/t68i there are options for recieving always,never,or ask first,that stops smart asses like me an u in our tracks,ne way the jap guy was wailin japanes in disgust it was v funny

Great places to Blue jacking are the big Train stations. Mainstation Berlin, Hannover, Munich etc. woaw i can find very lot of Bluetooth phones and have fun.

i've been regularly visiting esato to find useful information regarding se but recently i've just been laughing my ass with all the bluejacking stories and finally decided to register. i really wished i had read this topic sooner, 'cause they had a 3650 presentation in the Bucharest Mall not so long ago. bet i could have found quite a few brick-lovin' morons around. well - better luck next time.

The BT stack has been confirmed by Symbian to be rather buggy, looking to SE for a more stable stack. Talked to Droll, looks like we'll still release it but with a warning that if you use the bluejacking module, you could crash the program (even the phone).
Now doing the other boring stuff and hope to release it soon (no target date yet).

I sent a girl the matrix wallpaper. Since she saw that it was from "Club Nokia", she got excited and accepted it.
After that i took a picture of her with a couple of friends looking on to her phone. Then i sent it again. Of course she happily accepted. But when she saw that it was her picture, she shouted out "WHO'S DOING THIS?!?"
It was hilarious to see her reaction!

Bluejacking is cool.. I've send vcards and pictures to unsuspecting Nokia users, and even to a fellow P800 user once!!
Hehe anyways, i was thinking.. We should step up the agressiveness of the attacks.. How about writing a P800 ap that can send spoofed bt messages (ie, appear from a different phone- so u dont have to set your id to "ClubNokia" or smt all the time :/).. or maybe an ap that sends corrupted vcards (its well known that this can cause nokias to reboot when the vcard is OTA.. bluetooth may well work the same), or finally, a P800 ap that just bombards said mobile with 1000's of vcards using a random string (or perhaps commenly used contact names such as "Dad" "Mum" "Wife" "Home" etc and hope they get it overwritten...) haha
this could get *reallly* fun..
also, if this was all compiled into one ap it'd be great.. Possible have it bind itself to the *blue* browser button? haha.. Itd obviously be required to scan for victims (perhaps it could provide some technical information about the victim.. or maybe even an estimated distance based on signal strength??)
Any developers reading this PLEASE REPLY.. This could become excessive fun!!

Hey wozza, got bored halfway through hey?? yeh, took me quite a while to read through it my first time, but i used to be an esato regular.
And about nokia's with this program... well they would only find other nokia's, unless someone uses their p800 allways discoverable, so i think it'd be funnier if only SE users had it, we dont want nokia's to turn off their bluetooth now do we! I've been having trouble recently sending files on my p800, contacts just dont want to send anymore, it was soo much easier on my t68i... I found about 5 phones in the cinema, couldn't send to one of them, tried an 8910 loadsa times... oh well...

I managed 2 bluejack someone today, I went out for a meal and Remembered this thread.
so i promptly did a scan of the area hopeing to get a BT lock on 1 of the gals on the table behind me as they were damn fit but i had no such luck. all i managed to find was a 6310i so i promptley sent it a Vcard from the devil. it was a guy standing at the bar.
now this guy had the puzzled look on his face then this is how the conversation went between him and his mate
Bjack victim: " some 1 has jus sent me a business card what do i do"
friend 1: " you have to accept and save it first"
Bjack victim: "how do i do that??"
friend 1: " you do this this and this"
friend 1: "now u gotta find it so serch for 666 oh there it is"
friend 2: "what do you tell all of your customers NEVER OPEN STRANGE ATTACHMENTS"
Bjack victim: "its only my phone all my important stuff is on this" (pulls out a Ipaq from his pocket and connects to the internet via BT and d/l email
friend 1 & 2: "niceee"
i later find out this guy runs dragonnet uk (an isp based in swansea).
but there were some damn hot gals there and i neva managed to get any of them on my scaners.
now to get some cool Matrix stuff on my phone and then go to see it and bjack some people there.

today i was walking through the city and the shops. I have scanned 40-50 Bluetooth devices. Good 30 have i sent an vcard. It is an sunny day and many people are sitting in the outdoor coffees and enjoy the weather and drink cold drinks.
And the biggest fun was in a shop: a boy have an BT Name: "I looking for an girl friend". i sent him an vcard with an girlīs name. The Boy was jumping up and say loud "yippi, hurra a Girl" and sent an message to my device: "do you like to meet me?". I write back: "yes, search me or write an message to my email adress. I have an adress with a nickname that not can see if it an girl or an boy. It nervous before joy and looked itself over after one female it to have been could. I have hide myself that he canīt see me but i can see him.
