I did something naughty today!

I tried to BT connect to a colleague today that has an iPAQ. It worked well, until I was greeted with a password prompt. Bastard!

We need more new nokia phones here. Not too much to bluejack otherwise.

Bad news 4 bluejacking: T610 still doesn't have long range bluetooth. Imagine bluejacking of new bricks (if they would implement it) in 100m range!

Ha Ha, Imanaged to Bluejack somebody at the cinema last night. My first one other than sending messages to my girlfriend.

Me and a friend went to see "The Ring". You knonw, the one with the videotape and if you watch it you die 7 days later.

Anyway, I did a quick scan towards the end of the movie and picked up a 7650. So I sent a message saying just "7 days!". The poor guy was sat just in front of me and to the left. He looked a bit freaked, haha.

@leibniz: if you read my bluejack document, it'll tell you that you do not need to pair the device you want to bluejack...

hrmph. Had my lovely p800 stolen the other day (at knifepoint!) so am back to bluejacking with my trusty t68 until my insurance cough up for a new one.

Went into carphone warehouse and sent the guy behind the till a message. His colleague (james) was making a sale so I sent him a contact saying "make james a cup of tea". Ooh, the look on his face. That was priceless, he even asked james if he had sent it. I had to leave the shop

Man, this blujacking is addictive. A new hobby I think....lol

Posted by Necrosis
@si_sleaf:

Dude! Your P800 was ripped off?! I would be very fu$%& up if that happened to me

Regarding jacking, scored again today And again, on a mall.

Spot an asian couple foolin' around with a Finish brick and right away made a search.
"Zhan" appeared on screen (maybe it's the fellas name... I'm portuguese and don't know what "Zhan" means ).
Picked up my fav GIF: and sent it through
The guy accepted it right away as this was the fastest jack I've ever experienced
I stood nearby them to see their reaction but they didn't even move!
So I walked away and when I glazed my eyes to them, they vanished! Maybe I scared them off...

One thing I'm thinking on doing is taking a picture of the jacked victim and send it through That would be a killer...

I told this story to all my collegues at work today, we had all a very good time b'cause the only Nokia User is the Boss ( you don't have to be smart to have a good job)

Posted by leibniz
@ajack

When I tried it: I searched, I found, I clicked Yes, and was greeted with a password prompt. I suppose if I would have clicked the menu button instead of the Yes button, I may have had some options to send. If that's the case, maybe you can add it to your doc.

I'm at meadowhall in sheffield right now. So far found 7 bricks, 4 6310i's, loads just phone and one called Gaz! Not managed to send anything yet but still tryin!

I just bluejacked somebody in the bank yesterday.

I was waiting for my deposit transaction when I decided to do a bluejacking expedition. Lo and behold there was a Nokia7650 somewhere near me. When I looked around there was someone in front of me who was playing with her phone. So I sent her Satan's Business card complete with "call me ASAP" remark and 666 numbers!! hahaha...then...the infamous nokia beep!!!

I bluejacked her about 6 times...I was hiding behind a newspaper so there was no way she could tell it was me (having a small phone also helps ya know!!). Totally freaked out she shows the messages to her husband...with another brick (9210) hanging out his belt. And he has no idea what the hell was going on!! Nokia users here in the Phils. are just totally clueless...considering the volume of 7650 users...only a small percent actually know the poor implementation of bluetooth in their phones!!!

Posted by vwbeetle
out of curiosity, i tried sending a contact by bluetooth to my friend's 7650 and found out 2 things-- 1) my friend's 7650 did not beep but just displayed a message asking if you wanted to accept an incoming contact and 2) it was displaying the name of the phone which was trying to send a contact

so all those times i failed trying to send ocntacts to a 7650 were times that the owner did not accept, and all those times the name of my phone was being displayed. this is why we name our phones "club nokia", so that owners of nokias would be persuaded to accept the file. who could resist accepting a file from their precious nokia club hey.

Posted by mariolouis
i agree with you vwbeetle. when you are bluekacking, it's hard to send coz the user has to be infront of his/her phone and he/she has to accept the connection. there are no alerts to notify the owner you are sending to. so if the person you are sending to has his phone on his pocket/bag, there is no way you can send him the file.

I tried for the very first time to get on Esato last night with my t68i... entered user name then password, but it just kept coming back to the login screen. I figured it was an isolated problem for me. maybe not??? roger

Hi all,

My first post on this thread but i spose i've been "bluejacking" 7650's for a while now. I thought of the idea but then decided it was shit because on my t68i it had to be set to discoverable, after realising from a mate that nokia's are all set to discoverable i realised that i could cause mayhem, hehe. The funny thing was that the 7650 user who told me nokia's can allways be set to discoverable was actually trying to put down my t68i saying i cant leave it discoverable! Anyway i've sent a few pics to 7650's in the bus line which i thought was funny, but after reading about sending business cards it makes so much more sense, tommorrow i will be out and about! took me all night to read this thread, and 2moro my p800 will be arriving, so hopefully 2moro will be a very good day for me! These ideas are great though, am gonna have such a laugh... in fact i'm laughin now thinking about it, hehe...

Posted by shithappens
@dazbradbury: good on ya mate!!! and welcome to esato......happy jackin.....

Posted by Playahata
@dazbradbury

Dont use the p800 for blue jacking take your t68i out. P800 to easy to drop and is harder to jack with. T68 you can jack with it in your pocket.

Posted by lfbuccat
Let's keep our terms clean shall we...Blue jacking and...jacking (which maybe misunderstood to be "jacking off") are two different past times...although both activities are extremely satisfying!!! hahahaha! =-)

I was visiting some information shit about universitys on my school today. As I stood there talking to an information guy I saw that he had a laptop with a phone next to it. Still talking to him I did a bt search without him seeing it. I found Albins laptop and Albins t39m. Then the guy put the phone in his pocket. I sent a contact named Hi Albin! to the phone. I saw that the guy was putting his hand in his pocket, as if it rang but he didn't picked it up. I finished the conversation by saying, By Albin!

Posted by GigaJerk
Well, that's that then.

over the past two weeks I've tried BlueJacking in Salt Lake City Utah, Dallas Texas, Los Angeles California, Orange County California, and New Orleans Louisiana.

Even tried Bjacking during the Mardi Gras crowds on Bourbon St.

Not to mention all the busy airports

but not a damn thing.

Guess we just can't have any fun in the states.

I now feel I can join this thread, got my first successful jack under my belt last weekend. Sent a business card to a 6310 in a phone shop in the Mall, Bristol. The guy was talking to a sales rep while I pretended to look at some (awful ) nokia covers in the window. Great buzz when I saw him take the phone out of his pocket, I didnt hang around much longer, had my 3 year old with me and he was being noisy

Does anyone have the knowledge to produce a list of phones (esp.Nokias) with and perhaps what they will accept (Bus'ss cards, pictures, notes etc) and how each appears on those phones? I think this would be really useful.

Happy y'all,

Posted by SGtgl
hey everyone i found that there is a bluetooth>option>operation mode which allow us to turn 'on' the bluetooth operation as long as we like instead of the usual 3 mins of discoverable
unable to try since i do not have another bluetooth hp to discover maybe someone can try and let us know it is workable
maybe this is the key to start the communication a network for all bluejackers

its funny how some of you clowns have got time to waste making fun of phones you dont have an have probably neva even used. I've got a t68i and a 7650 soon to have a p800, b4 the p800 came out da 7650 was the best phone on the market, just remember which phone you had when the 5110s were all the craze right thru to the 3210s and the 3310. For those of you in England you'll know that there wasnt an ericsson in sight. Some people are so fickle...

Posted by cyanx7
wow!

what a great newcomer post!!!

about the 7650 (aka BRICK...) being the best before p800 came out -
let's keep it your own little shinobi (=secret)... i won't tell anyone u mentioned it, ok!... u can still edit that post, u know!
love and kisses...

hi all bluejacking looks like good fun can someone plz send tell me how to bluejack via email or pm help apreciated thx

Posted by Wapocalypse
There's two difficulties with this.

First is that it takes a bit too long to find devices, so if the target is walking in the opposite direction, no chance.

Secondly, the best place to find someone with that type of phone is in a very busy area. The worst place to actually tell see the effect?... a very busy area.

A certain Mr. Shabba Ranks just appeared in both the Orange shop and Phones4U's 6310is in Manchester city centre though

welcome to esato shinobi

I sent one girl a picture of sexy lady and she wasn't best pleased. That'll teach her to buy a phone based on its looks. I doubt if she even knows the phone has bluetooth.

Posted by cyanx7
like ajack once said: "i did something naughty today!"

i had an argument with a friend about iraq... he's totaly pro-USA.

so when i bluejacked a 7650 today i sent the contact (translated): "want to be an iraqi spy? call now!"
and i put HIS number on the contact...

i'm thinking nobody will probably call him, and it was probably a stupid effort...
but that will change when i bluejack someone and send: "Free SEX? Call me now!"...
that might just do the trick, dontcha think?

Posted by shithappens
@cyanx7: that's pretty imaginative i wud say which is kinda similar to wat i'm doing nowadays too....sending messages like "50% off on next purchase when u show this at xxxcounter"

keep it up mates........cheers!!

Greetz!

I'm standing @ a cybercafe right now and at a glance I saw this dude coming right at me with a brick in his hand.

He sat down in front of a PC right next to me and in the meanwhile I made a search and found 2 bricks

One named "SeRiaL-LoVeR" and the other a lack-imaginative "Nokia7650"

To be more sucessful in these jack attempts, I've changed my phone name to "Club Nokia", like someone suggested.

Since the first victim's name seemed a bit kinky, I've sent him a pic from my girlfriend's breast

To my surprise, the jacked victim was the guy right next to me (OK, there was a 50% chance... ) and he accepted the connection right away! I guess changing the name of the phone was a good improvement to this stalking practice

I saw him look at the pic and then he just glazed his eyes to see if he could spot the "breast owner". The guy just started to make a search to try to connect to my phone, but he just couldn't. The guy was startin' to get pissed!

And now I'm just writting these words right next to him, staring at him and at his miserable existence

By the way, the other "Nokia7650" was also jacked with my favorite pic: the "HateNokia". Couldn't see the other guy's reaction though

But this was my most sucessful jack attempt ever: two victims in one day! Wow...

P.S: Edited this message just to say that "SeRiaL-LoVeR" is still trying to look for the "breast owner" in the cybercafe This jacking sh*t rulzzzz!

Hey man, it's just her tits!

No one knows it's her...

If she finds I'm sending this pic through MMS and , she'll skin me!

By the way, "SeRiaL-LoVeR" is still trying to stablish a connection in order to trace the "tit owner" I think the guy is gettin' horny!

@necrosis: u da man!!!

anyway this wuz wat happened to me yesterday....wuz at a local pub with my boss and some clients.....got bored half way and then i suddenly remembered to do a search...lo and behold a 6310i appeared .....i then started to flood his phone with the normal contacts eg "You've been bluejacked!! SE Rules!!", "You call tat a fon!! Get a P800!!", Nokia Sucks Big Time..C How Powerless U R!!"

The best thing wuz his phone beeped each time the contact wuz sent over....the bloke no doubt stared at each message with this total *but normal for nokia users* confused look

All this time, he wuz chatting up a gal at the bar...couldn't see her properly as the lighting wuz kinda dim but she's one big sized and well endowed momma

After bout a coupla more messages of *abuse*, i then sent him this contact "You know the babe U chattin Up??" and then this "The hot lookin She is a HE!!! Beware!!"

And u know what the guy did??? He stood up and shouted really loudly "THANK YOU"...he then excused himself and scurried outta the joint.......i had the biggest fookin laugh and i practically spilt my beer all over me pants....got hell from me wife but lemme tell ya it wuz worth it......for all the guys who know me and is familar with KL, its the pub inside Century Hotel......

Guys, i shit (no pun intended!! ) u not but that's about the best i ever had with jackin......damn!!! that wuz fun.......i had a tought time explaning the stuff to the guys i wuz with but hey, we all had a good laugh afterwards and some of em are seriously looking at ditching their noks for ...i told em all to wait for the t610.........wat the heck!! might as well do a little freebie marketing for ...hahahahahaha...cheers dude!!
