Caribe in Australia..
caribe is spreading fairly profusely crote melbourne, when you catch public transport, there always seems to be an infected phone, constantly trying to infect you. Most people are unaware that they have it. Slowly, but steadily, it's infecting all the symbian users who really shouldn't be using Symbian!

Maybe that says something about the people who own the phones..

Hello! I am new at bluejacking, so I can "n00b" a bit...I hop you'll help me
Well - in Poland it's really low "risk" that there will be any bluetooth enabled phone.... :/ but I have one question - do I really NEED to do a CONTACT, or maybe it works same as "Note" ?
Are there any other phones I can bluejack? I mean - for example (sorry, I knw I shouldn't bluejaack our "lovely SE's" ) sony ericssons, or Sharp's or Sagems....
I am using D750i
TIA,
SharkyPL

Well, thanks... It's really cool advice...but now - SPEEEEED!
Man, check this out - you look for bt devices, you have one and you go to phonebook and you make a contact...and it's too late
Don't you think it'd be a pity?
Now tell me about upgrading my D750i... upgrading, making it better...anything!
Maybe I could change it's soft that I could open symbian games and appz?
ok, let's be realistic - what can I do with my D750i ?

Happy birthday bluejacking!!

@all:
Besides the manual way of bluejacking (notice how nobody asks why they can pair their BT devices to the victims phone anymore?), what tools are available for bluejacking and on what platform? Let me start.
1. SMan (Symbian UIQ 2.x)
Please reply to this post and add the app you use on this list (assuming it's not already on the list).

So, ive heard from my friend that Samsung E720's are capable of physically browsing other peoples files stored on their phones via bluetooth... is this true? Ive yet to ask my friends who have the E720 to check it out.
Posted by etaab
Its an old function SE have had for years.
It was removed in the newer phones though, because the latest versions of Bluetooth are more secure.

I've done numerous searches but not really found a "perfect" guide for phone specific instructions / how-to's on how to bluejack using, for example, a k750i.
I have bloover installed on the handset, and have tried to "attack" on numerous occaisions but never succeeded.
As this is such a popular topic, is it therefore not an idea for a seperate forum broken into software / how-to's etc..
Just a thought!
Basicly, I couldn't find a simple "this is how its done" for my handset (k750i incase you hadn't guessed!), can someone point me in the right direction?
Posted by etaab
Its fairly easy. Just go to your phonebook, create a new contact, put your message in the NAME field, and save the contact.
Then, find the contact, press more, and choose to send it, via Bluetooth. When your phone finds another phone, highlight and try to send to it. Thats all you need.
Blooover isnt a bluejacking app, its a bluesnarfing proof of concept app. Its not of any use on the K750i, because its Bluetooth security is too tight.
Better bluejacking apps for the K750i include BTexplorer, and Easyjack.

Hey guys this is so much funnier if you first send a card to get the persons phone to ringout then when you know whos head you have to play with (so to speak)
take a photo of the back of their head and then send it to them instead of a card then get up and leave so they dont turn round and spot you
you have to move quickly
but its a rush

haha neat! gonna try jackin some phones in college ;]

Nice One Guys...
I was bored standing at the underground station the other day so decided to send someone an mp3 clip of rediculose music that i knew would turn everyones heads...
i was with a group of m8s, and as someone accepted it, i could barly contain myself as he played it out loud on the station and everyone looked at him;P
it was one of those pricless moments...

I recently bought a T630 and only used bluetooth once to pair with my dad's i-mac G4 and it sure had tight bluetooth security. Hope my first bluejacking experience doesn't give me a hard time with security!

Found a great Bluejacking use for those of us who have reached that kill joy age!
Kid next door playing music full blast again. Don't want to fall out with parents so I created a contact called "Please turn music down. My washer on spin more turneful". Did blue tooth discover on landing next to wall adjoing her bedroom and sent contact. They are not very techno savy so I can imagine the confusion but it went quiet very quickly!

This is such a cool phenomenon!
even better if your phone has a voice record function
record yourself saying something like
"HEY ASSHOLES,LOOK @ ME!!!"
then watch in complete amusement as someone opens the first accepted file and plays it out loud
TRE COOL.....
just remember
karma has a funny way of comin back and kickin your ass...

Posted by Lorandka
this is fun, if actually can find someone who's bluetooth is on
actually with a t68, u can send a card instantly, in the bluetooth menu / discovered / (phone model) / yes / send card. but you'll have to preset your card name with a message, (mine is :buy a sonyEricsson, or else die! )
and put it on silent mode ..that's a hint

You dont need to pair the phone (which by the sound of it your doing) Just make a contact and send it via bt.
Posted by BFassassin

You must be kidding ..... wow you are so smart..... Will give you a lolly pop

Yesterday nite i was (again) in a bus and there was a girl sat next to the window, but the window was closed. She has a t616 and I sent her a contact saying: Open the window, are u cold or what?
She started laughing........ she didnt mind and put the cel back in her purse.
I wasnt waiting for that............................
Posted by tranced
why contacts and notes dont need to pair with other phones?
Posted by etaab
You pair phones so you can send trusted items between the two of them.
Simply sending something by Bluetooth does not need pairing, why on earth would it ?
