Greetings to all the bluejackers around here!
After almost a month of unsucessful bluejacking, finally yesterday I managed to bluejack a Finish brick again.
As I was wondering on a mall, I glazed my eyes into a clothing store named SALSA. My girlfriend wanted to look for some jeans and stuff and in the middle of the "shopping boredom" I encountered several promotional flyers regarding Valentine's Day, where SALSA and YORN (a youngster oriented brand powered by Vodafone Portugal) were giving lovers a chance to win a Nokia 7650 by just taking a romantic photo together with some SALSA clothing on and at the end, the most romantic couple will get the almighty useless brick
My girlfriend wanted to give a try and I agreed to take the darn photo (I just hate to be photographed...
).
When she was trying some stuff on, and while I was looking for some jeans, I realised that some SALSA girls at the counter where holding a Finish brick that was being used to take the "contest" photos!
Drawn my t68i, made a
search and "Phone" appeared on screen. Man! What a rush!
Went to "My Pictures" and selected a nice Photoshop pic I've made with a guy sitting in a toilet takin' a dump with a "How are you" Vodafone logo behind him and the portuguese sentence: "Estou a cagar" (that means, "I'm taking a dump").
Sent it through
and only after a couple of tries, the girls managed to accept the pic.
When they saw the pic, they started giggling and that was really fun to watch
I prefer the "pissing glazed look face", but seing someone laughing their stocks out after being bluejacked is also a conforting feeling
At the end, no pics were taken of me and my girlfriend 'cause we had to be both dressed with SALSA stuff to "show off" at the camera, and I didn't buy anything there... My gal was really pissed at me, but I took her to a nice restaurant and after that, to a movie and things cooled a bit
This bluejacking thing is quite addictive! I'm stalking victims in crowed places! I can't believe in what I've become
! A sadistic monster!
2 bluejack or not 2 bluejack, that's the darn question... (Bluejack only if it's a Finish brick!

I prefer the "stalking"

Im gonna hang around outside a phone shop on the high street and see what I can do...Heh
(Will be almost as funny as when I used my casio remote control watch to turn up a TV in a display in the window of dixons!! Providing they got the BT on on the phones they try and demo to people!!)

not a lot of people have the money to buy a phone with , and some of them know what it is (15 - 20% is a wild guess) - so our victim universe is too thin... and we are prone to miss a lot of shots in bluejackin unless we start blasting in every direction...

Its much better when you know the victim...
you can send them all sorts of numbers (see my previous posts) i have had to curtail this particualr attack for the time being- the victim was becoming overly suspicious. I think we will all agree that the worst thing a bluejacker can do is be caught- if caught we will become a psychological POW. I will lay in wait and attack in the future.
But having said that i am quite partial to a bit of blind bluejacking- the risks of being caught are much lower, and the results are much more unpredictable.
what is your ideal bluejacking senario? mine involves a charming female and a train and liberal use of the bricks camera function in return.

Picture this...a school full of bricks with discover default to on!!! My school is under construction and the phone lines are down. So the district bought bricks for EVERY teacher, principle and lunch lady in school.

damnit... my p800 cant bluejack....i would have had owned "svends nokia" in the metro today if it had worked... i try to send the buisness card... but it just fails (tested it on a 6310 here at work the connection IS established and the 6310 says it is connecting, but the card is never recieved and the p800 gives an error message) anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

Well, I bought my T300, and 5 days later, they came out with the T68i, I MIGHT be able to get a T68i for really cheap using my moms T-Mobile $39.99(USD) 1 year service agreement contract. Im going to find out today. Is there and cheat I can use(Amazon.com) or anything that I will be able to get one for free? Because if there is and I get one for free, im giving my mom my T300 and im taking the T68i!!!!(and im not thinking of myself either, my mom has a Motarola G310 and when she saw my T300 she feel in love with it. So, ima do my best! to get one!)
But please help me find a way to get a T68i for cheap!!!

Dear fellow bluejackers...i wuz away for some time (Chinese New Year holidays) and did manage to visit some watering holes...but i'm sad and dissapointed to report that there were no conquests for me....saw a lot of nok users but unfortunately none were
sets!!! i guess nok's adoption of is somewat slow compared to !! and the nok sets which are enabled costs an arm and a leg.....wat a bummer.....hope u guys had more luck and a whole load more fun than i had.....cheers!!

everyone who has a T68i dont know they hv BT, so that isnt enabled either...
I leave my P800 on discoverable.. so that I can get bluejacked and can begin a BJ (that doesnt look right) war...
sad thing is, ppl dont see that the p800 is a phone.. everyone asks me what kind of computer I hv.. and when I tell em it's a smart phone, they answer "it's a computer that can call"
and I feel like taking advantage of the fact I hv such a big phone and whacking them!
the new cool phone to hv here in montreal is the VTech A700

to a 6310i......had a fren with me and we had a ball of a time sending him all sorta wierd contact names and emails, of coz, with the motto nok*a sucks, looser phone, brick manufacturers etc....hahahahaha...man, that wuz fun.....

Many of you expressed your disagreement towards
jacking. I assume that everyone around here is responsible for their actions, so jacking should not be censored but, instead, users should.

jacking is not yet classified as “mass destruction weaponry” so that UN guys start sniffing ones butt because of its malicious use.
After a short brainstorming session, here is the “keep it short and simple” definition I’ve came up with (yeah, it’s lame, but someone has to come up with these things
):
Bluejacking: interactive short-distance communication process.
And as a communication tool,
jacking can be used as an “ice breaker” in every days relationships Or as a physical approach (literally if things go out wrong. POW! Smacked! )
Now, what is the real purpose of
jacking? To piss others off? To enhance your “superiority”? Basically, to have fun, right?
Then, have fun! Tough luck of the “visible”
users! There’s always the possibility of not accepting the bluejack message or simply turning your BT off…!

I haven't been able to find a nokia users yet, but I (T68i, R5D001) tried something with a friend of mine and his T39.
I found his T39, but I could only send my own business card to him.

Could we consider a bluejack successful if I was able to send a "Bokia sucks! blah blah" contact to a 6310 and never really knew who the person was?
I did it while I was walking in a busy mall. Sent the contact to an unsuspecting "Nokia 6310" and went walking past my victim.

My t68i FW version is R2A0014, so that's not a cause for unsucessful
jacking. Sometimes distance or physical obstacles are a cause for that...
@Danaq: are you trying to send a Picture Message to a t39 (.wbmp)? Or just a .gif or .jpg? I usually send .jpg or gifs if I have the chance. Never sent any contact/business cards, but I'm planning to send a calendar note with some weird stuff like "Fatal Error. Bad RAM boot sector. Originated by HateNokia.pif (Root module A00052/3Z)".
My only question is:
are
calendar notes compatible with 7650? The purpose is to send a "time bomb" message that would freak the jacked

On which note- a question:
What are the protocols regarding bluejacking in Israel? I think it could result in a rather nasty helecopter gunship attack, what with Bluetooth being a military band width over there.

@necrosis, no- the nasty side of bluejacking is stalking a victim and systematically bombarding them with numbers and business cards until you see them break down before you. It can also cause lasting psychological damage to both the bluejacker and the victim. Just look how many people are changing their life styles in order to go to the mall and bluejack people. For f**k sake there are about 5 stories of people nearly being dumped by their girlfriends for constantly bluejacking people. I like bluejacking, dont get me wrong, but it is a wolf in sheep’s clothing and should be respected as such. To top things off it could even cause have military repercussions...

Yesterday I came up with the wicked idea of bj’ing (isn't this a Chinese city
) someone’s phone with an .amr file! And it’s possible. Just have to spot a Finish brick holder and go to my t68i (menu - 4 - 4 – joystick up) and choose the .amr file I’ve recorded previously (menu - 4 – 6).
I’ve already managed to record a stand up performance by a well known Portuguese performer (Fernando Rocha – cyanx7 might as well know him ‘cause they live in the same city
). Basically it’s a bunch of insults in a 10 seconds file and I quote:
“Oh boi, oh filha da puta, oh azeiteiro! Havias de dar c’os cornos lá em baixo no rochedo, cabrão, e vir um “canguereijo” e comer-te o cú, filho da puta!”
Cyanz7 is an expert translator so he can have it translated
It’s really nasty stuff
Probably I can get my arse smacked if someone catches me after being
jacked, but that’s where the fun is! (NOT!)
About that “time bomb” thing, I gotta test it out first in order to add it to a Bluejacking Protocol that I’m workin’ on and that I might post in a new thread (if you peepz agree, specially Ajack, the “leader” of this
jack community )

but practise also makes perfect...i had a shitty time initially trying my luck at
jackin...(see my initial posts)...but gradually got the hang of it...it all depends on where u are (certain places are more conducive) eg, near phone shops, upmarket malls (higher concerntration of folks that can afford the newer and oh so expensive enabled noks), cinemas etc.....so go ahead and keep on tryin or should i say jackin....cheers!

My regular victim is on the back burner for a little while. plus 6310 isnt polyphonic. Plus it would blow my cover.
trouble with sending a voice file is that they would have to acknowlge and accept its receipt- and we would lose the element of surprise, but in the right cirmumstances it has alot of potential. I had a great sound clip of lady noises i recorded of a porno, which made a great ringtone on my old sony z7- that could have potential?

I've sent this .amr file before on a MMS to a 7650 and the guy complaint it had loudspeaker fuction set on, on MMS reading.
He read the MMS on a crowded bus and everyone could at least hear the first insults
