Its down because the program is no longer in development, i emailed the author of it and he told me so.
So, forget about freejack, it doesnt work, and not likely ever to do so.

correct - java on the t610 and z600 operates in a "sandbox" environment which isolates it from most of the phone features, especially

Apparently the K700i and S700i do have the correct Java API which allows it to access Bluetooth control, but still no Java bluejack app works on either of those two phones too.
I suppose if you want a bluejack app, you need a smartphone ( p900 ).

hey guys what a fabulous topic.
what software is there for my p910 to bluejack and what advantages does it posess over the traditional method?
Posted by harvey172
@scotty sman is a gud program 4 blujackin cuz u jus set a msg and it sends the msg 2 everybody within range automatically!
Posted by scottyd

Hear's another bluejacking program to try but trial version!
Meetingpoint site
Posted by masseur
meetingpoint isn't really a bluejacking program as it requires some cooperation from the other party
Posted by scottyd
hey masseur, could you help me?
how do i blue jack with sman?
Posted by masseur
in SMan go to Fn on the top right and click it, choose modules, then bluejack
under options choose message and set the message you want to send (its SE Rulesz! by default)
under options you can also set notifications such as vibrate each time it bluejacks someone
to actually bluejack all in range at once simply click the radar dish icon at the bottom
in flip closed mode go to applications, sman, jog dial towards you and choose "start proximity sweep". that performs the same function as above finding all in range and sending a message if possible
you'll get a log so you can see how successful you have been
Posted by scottyd
cheer i really appreciate your help.
i go to a private skl with loadsa wanna be rude boys lol and sometimes they prank call me and other even though im sorta mates with them but this will get them so good.
Especially in a dinning room full with a about 2 or 300 peeps lol its will be killer, ill let u know how it goes.

It realy only mean Manual phones like almost every new Nokia phone is now that want to accept message contacts like other phones then the Sony Ericsson phones which auto accept messagers aka Concats - Vcard's will auto jack same as Sman Pluse even Sman messagers have to be Manual accepted on Nokia phones or there get the time out error on logs then 6310i and sony phones which auto bluejack.
Anycase its still a bluejacking program cos program works in same way as Sman in sending contacts to any bluetooth device same as Sman but with out the log to see who you have bluejacked or not, Just has a counter on phones picked up and a count on bluejacked phones.
Shame to say but the 2 can flood some phones like the 6310i with same messages.

Don't you hate people that have bluetooth switched off? I'm on a tram, and i can see a dude with his k500 and he ain't showing up on a scan... Damn luddites!

PLEASE TELL ME THERE'S A BLUETOOTH APP FOR THE SEV800
Posted by 701
the prob with sman is that the message field is too short..only a few chars.A proper and funny message doesnt fit.Too bad
Posted by ajack
@701:
SMan v1.4 will have an enhanced bluejack module... That's all I can say at the moment...

How can i send business card with SE k700i?
Posted by gojnik064
Hi! Did anyone try application BlueJackX for Series60 phones? I get some notification "not implemented" when trying to bj other devices.
Posted by stirlo
i was using that one, but it was really unstable...
now i'm using a program called Xblue, it's all in spanish, but not really that hard to understand...
it also logs everything, very handy, you can build up a list of known phones...

No they do not have the Bluetooth API embedded into them sadly

I'm not sure but mophun allows you to access BT, right ?
Posted by stirlo
| Quote: |

view the contact you want to send, press options (or something similar) find SEND, then choose Bluetooth...
your phone should scan for available devices...
if you pick up devices on the scan, select one, and pray to the spirits of bluejacking-ness....

Has anybody here tried out this software?
It's called Bloover, not sure exactly what it does, there's a description of it and download here
Bloover
I can't get it to install properly on my ngageQD, it's a java
program that says it should run on UIQ and Symbian..
(and other devices that have j2me with access to bluetooth)
If you get it going, pm me!
Posted by gojnik064
I installed this Xblue, and yesterday on my way to school it discovered 4 bt devices, as I could see from the log. But no bj done. Then I tryed to bj my friends t68i, saddly it asked for pairing. Strange, isnt it? Manual contact sending worked just fine. @stirlo Bloover is next on my list. ;-)

It's not the final version, and not great for actual bluejacking.... what i use it for, is when i hear the "alarm" that a new device is found, and it happens to be a 6310i or SE phone, pause the scanner, open your contacts or file manager and send away!
if you set it to scan constantly, will help you find new 'victims' without having to take your phone out of teh pocket...
if you go to \system\apps\xblue\ there are two files, scanlog.dbf and devices.dbf, open them in Excel or other DB software, and you can build up a log of devices...
at the moment i'm using it to try to solve the "Mikko" mystery, so far i have found 6 "Mikko"'s around SE suburbs of melbourne.
Posted by etaab
I told you that Mikko would be a popular name.
Btw, blooover is bluesnarf software thats been made "safe". Basically you can download it and test if your phones are bluesnarf vulnerable.
You cant actually bluejack or bluesnarf anyone with it though, and it wont run on the QD because its a MIDP1 phone, not MIDP2.
I read somewhere recently the K7/S7 both had the necessary JSR 82 API that is so very needed for Java to access Bluetooth. Maybe they were lying ?
Posted by gojnik064
Well, atleast Xblue is good for notification about new found bt devices. BlueJackX will be good in v1.0, because bluejacking is going to be fully implemented. We can only wait and see. :) Bloover is supposed to work on 6600, 7610 and UIQ also. Doesnt work on my 3650.
Posted by Bammers
any idea when sman 1.4 be out? Eagerly awaited!!
Posted by offsight
sman 1.4 will be out some time in summer cos there now re'coding program so it will run on motorola pda UIQ's to with no bugs which i think there making one for motorola UIQ's and for sony ericsson P series and sorry to say to p800 owners that there stopped working with p800 coding and using p900/910i codings to take advantage of MIDP2
so on p800 the new 1.4 may have bugs but there advice you to run the 1.2 or 1.3

Its good but as its a snarfing program too at you know, its realy realy slow too but nice to have and works.
Posted by eeiba
does bloover work on the t610?
Posted by offsight
| Quote: |

No
[Here you find the Blooover tool as a .jar file for download. It is supposed to run on every phone that is equipped with a J2ME MIDP 2.0 VM and an implemented JSR-82 API (important for Bluetooth access). As far as I know, the Nokia 6600, Nokia 7610, Sony Ericsson P900, Siemens S65 (and probably al consequent phones of the mentioned manufacturers) do fulfill these requirements.]
Program works only for MIDP 2.0 devices with J2ME.
T610 is MIDP 1.0 and wornt work.
Posted by stirlo
I'll try it out on my nokia 6230, when i can force myself to move the sim card from the Ngage to the thing. (theres a lot of nes games, megadrive and others on the ngage trying to stop me accomplishing that)
Posted by Davo_169
does it work for the K7
Posted by Bammers
@offsight
Thanks for that, just having probs with it on my P910, keeps crashing and I have to re install!!!
Posted by offsight
Mine can be like that too with crashing.
