Not attempted any yet for fear of violent abuse, but it's only time. A good scenario for you to get a pair is the whole "I need your help" thing.

- I need your help

- If you don't do this one thing for me they're going to catch me

- They'll tortue and kill me

- I've gotta use your phone to get out

- The passkey to connect to the database is ****

- Type that in and help me get out

Guarrenteed that some chump will let you pair, it's really all in the imagination isn't it.

Yeh i love it

Posted by sngd
went to that bluejack website and downloaded freejack, but it did'nt work for my v800. is there anything similiar that will work???

Posted by SonyEricssonP900
I went to a football match on saturday (Northampton Town V Darlington) and it was half time, so as i was queing up for my pie i thought a nice Bjack scan wouldn't go a miss. So i casually got out my p900 and did a search and returned the phone to my pocket. To my joy i recieved two vibrations. I had successfully jacked a T630 and a K700i but had failed with a 6600. I was pleased with my result anyway. But i never saw my victims sadly.

Posted by Residentevil
What message did you sent?

Posted by SonyEricssonP900
i just sent a nice "come on u cobblers".

I also successfully jacked a t610 and a 6230 today by using sman and i sent them the message "installing virus" and then "installed virus". The reaction was hillarious with the 6230 cos i watched him and he turned his phone off and took out the battery to check if anything was wrong then put it back and turned it on. But i had to flee before i was discovered.

Posted by sngd
might one enquire what sman is???

my bluetooth name is called "inbox"

it will say downloading from inbox.....

simple yet effective....

I still prefer "Service Centre" as my phone name. More GUMBAs fall for it and accept the message. It especially makes messages like "Virus received-- Delete it?" or "Fatal Error-- please reboot phone" to be taken seriously by vics.

It must have been you who inspired me with my first bluejack because i had that name and i sent a message saying you have been hacked and to turn your phone off and take your battery out. It worked because it went to a teenager with a nokia 6600 and i heard his reaction and he said to his mate "sound, i've just been hacked" with a nervous look on his face but obviously didn't want to show his disappointment to his mate. So I thank you for making my blujacking experiences a fun time which i look forward to when going to crowded places.

how come when i try 2 blujack sumone, the recieving fone recieves a message asking it if it will recieve the bluetooth message from my device? i create a fonebuk entry first and send it via bluetooth but thats what happens. what am i doing wrong?:-(

Posted by etaab
Nothing, you just trying to bluejack nokias. Try bluejacking a T610, they're easy.

Posted by MyZTkL
do you need the latest firmware to recognize other bluetooth fones...sometimes i do scans and find heaps of unknown fones...is this becoz they've got the a fone that cant be recognized by my fone...Ive got a K700

Posted by etaab
No, its because the bluetooth signal isnt strong enough to receive their Bluetooth name.

Normally because the other phone is either walking out of bluetooth range or barely in range to start with.

does this mean that i will not be able to bluejack nokias if they will not give me permission to send a contact entry to their fone?

pls. avoid using BJ for bluetooth,, it sounds awful.. it might be mistaken as BLowjob..he he..

Posted by stirlo
"message centre" or "service centre" works well, you can also try your network names, e.g

"Optus Australia"

or "Vodafone message centre"

Posted by JukurenvengeX5
Heh, that was quite smart of you...Mmm...If Sony Ericsson had a Class ONE bluetooth, then, you'd be able to send it into a range of 100M!!!!! HOW COOL IS THAT!!!..(Okay, I'm making a fool of myself..) But, it's the truth...Mmm...You sort of inspired me...Because, after I read your post two days ago...I thought to myself...if you were able to do that..Would it work if..Say you had a hands-free and then you do bluetooth...Will the incoming calls off somebody else's...calls..Mmm...

Nope. You have to trick the person looking at their phone into thinking its a sms message by calling your phone something like mentioned above. Try Nokia Msg Centre, works for me.

Btw, you can only bj class 2 (10m) phones with a class 1 (100m) phone if you are within 10m of the class 2 phone. Weakest link in the chain etc..

i'm pretty sure the 100m bluethooth only works if the other device is capable of 100m bluetooth i.e if you search for a bluetooth device with 10m range from 100m it won't find it as the connection needs to be established both ways.

tnx. i'll try that.

This is really starting to freak me out...Every time i scan for devices recently, i pick up the name "Mikko" ...This is in different suburbs, places... So i'm either picking up my stalker's phone, or perhaps Mikko is just a popular nickname in Melbourne, aus... Is anybody else picking up the same person?

Posted by Carbonester
No i am not picking that up (Greensborough).

I had a similar prroblem A motorola a1000 kept on showing up and whenever i tried to send to it it would not go through. What you need to do is go to the list of devices in rance and wait for the phone to finish searching and then it will delete it if it is not in range

Posted by T_grr
@stirlo
Try to reboot your phone. Sometimes my T610 keeps a phone name that I have bluejacked in the list, even if its out of range.

Posted by etaab
It does that on purpose, so that you dont have to keep searching for it before being able to send something.

It always keeps the last phone you connected to at the top of the list - its called memory !

Posted by stirlo
yeah, this isn't just the list, though...

I've found Mikko in prahran, hawthorn, even Healsville (melbourne people will know where i'm talking about)

And with multiple phones as well...

It's not just the list, he keeps showing up anyway!

next time i see the name, i'll make a note of the MAC address, and see if it is actually the same phone....

Posted by etaab
I was talking to T-Grr about the list.

Maybe the reason you keep finding the same name is because its something well known, such as a local soccer players name, a favourite musician etc.

People tend to name their Bluetooth phones after their idols.

I can't believe that this thread is still active!!!!!!! I come come back after a year and it is still as hot as before.......

This obviously is a nice place~

Try shutting off your phone, take the batt. out for two min. then reinsert and switch on. Try again. Mikko should then be gone. If not start running.

the phone name will appear everytime you do a search because it's paired with your handset. if you goto the bluetooth device menu you'll see a list of devices you've paired/added to your phone.

last bluejack message "your tampon string is hanging out & it it looks...."

Posted by sngd
not really a bluejack as such... bought a bluetooth adaptor for my pc. had it connected to my v800. left someone in my room whilst the media player was on. whilst bluetoothing my pc from out room i hear "your pc's doing something strange" ....

does any of you guys know of a where i can download a bluejacking software for my t610. i forgot what its called, ????Jack.jar or something, thanks guys.

Posted by govigov
I did not know there was such a software.

Posted by mince-inside
Yeah I've blue jacked!
For over a year I've been sending messages and pics on the daily commute with my P900 and with the visable name Transport Police.
At last some brave fellow sent me a pic of a WPC in a state of undress. Giving is nice but it's just as good to receive.

Posted by Davo_169
yeah its good to know that your not the only one out there

Posted by eeiba
I think its called freejack. Anybody knows if it work on a T610?
I've seen a downloadable .jar file on www.bluejackq.com the link doesn work.

Posted by stirlo
freejack is a j2me program, it sort-of worked on my Nokia 6230, supposed to work on nokia series 60 as well...

I suppose it would probably work on the Ericcssons, the author date-limited that release, so if you change the date on your phone to july-10-2004 i think it should work...

I found 2 Mikko's! Looking over the MAC addresses, they are different. Looks like Mikko is just a popular nickname, not a stalker

Posted by eeiba
but hte link on the blujackq.com doesn't work, any other site where i can download it? tnx.

Posted by Davo_169
at the cricket the otha day i got a few peeps but the best one was the guy sitting directly in front of me, he had a t630. anyway i set my name to WACA administration and sent the message "click yes and wait for special offer", then i sent, go to the bar to receive your free beer. and he went HAHAHAHA what a puts.

Posted by govigov
www.bluejackq.com is the correct address.

Posted by The_Nashy
The link to the file Freejack on that site doesn't work. Where do we download it from?

Posted by Davo_169
it doesnt matter anyway because ive tried had the appliocation and it didnt work on my K700 anyway. and plus if the aplication did install on the K7, it wouldnt be able to use bluetooth because the K7 doesnt support the application to use bluetooth.

Posted by stirlo
http://www.software13.co.uk/freejack/

you can download Freejack there....

but yeah, it probably won't work on the T series of phones..

Posted by Davo_169
yeah and plus the download link on that site is down due to updating the program.
