i tried all day and couldn't find any phone with bluetooth on.
i swear no one has it in my area, and if they did, they don't know what it is or don't use it.

on Sony today!! i managed to bluejack a Sony laptop (one with the motion-eye.... I went into my local Sony Ericsson Centre and did a bluetooth search... up popped a computer icon with Laptop 1 as the name. I looked around and couldn't see anyone using a laptop near me, and i sent a 'Sony Rox' contact, and paired by guessing the passkey - 1. I then sent another SE logo picture, and thought nothing more of it until i went over to the display cabinet. Looking at cameras, i noticed this really small laptop with motioneye.. and A Bluetooth Light! Funnily enough, my SE logo was on display for all to see in the My Pictures folder, and the contact behind in an Outlook window! I then sent another picture (a pic of a BMW M3), and decided ah well thats enough. However, it gave off this really loud buzzing sound, and frightened the hell out of the manager who was standing beside me! He then said. that's funny! why has that got up on the window? As i am applying for a job there presently, i thought i better leave sharpish.

My most succesful bluejacking was at Knightsbridge in London last week! I thought about doing a random search whilst in a restaurant and to my SUPRISE 11 mobiles showed up on the screen. I nearly fell off the chair. And it wasnt only random people that had left the bluetooth on their nokias on, but they all had names for their phones. There were 6 7650, 2 8910, and 3 6310i i think ! I looked around and i saw a crowd of 10-15 arabs sitting at table!They all were showing their phones off on the table!So i sent out a note to "AHMED 7650" that said " Put your useless nokia in your pocket... if you can fit in!"
The guys started looking around the restaurantb to find who it was so i put my t68 back in my pocket! They looked pretty pissed off!

@jonesdboy: If you saw a \"Phone\" when you did a search, it means that your phone discovered a \"victim\" but the phone was out of range when you phone 'requested' for it's name. May I suggest that you walk along with the crowd else they might just get out of range when you find them. :-)

Does 7650 have bad bluetooth connection or leather is a good RF insulator?
I was trying to do the trick yesterday on a brick since I saw a lady holding it. When I try to send something over, she already put her brick into a leather hand bag (maybe afraid of being teased) and guess what, my T39 cannot find it anymore!!!
Anyone encounter this before?

Just for fun...I wonder how many of you Esato friends use your Esato username as the name for your phone?
I have made my P800 always discoverable and will but wapmanse as the name so if you go to Stockholm try searching the BT spectrum maybe you will find me..

@all: Guess what? My brother brought some of his friends over for some snacks and I of coz did my compulsory bluetooth search. One of them was carrying a 7650. I bluejacked him with my \"Buy Sony Ericsson P800\" and he was freaked by the message. He showed it to my brother who said \"Oh, must be my brother\" and I then educated him on why Nok*a sux. He's buying a P800 soon. :-D

When i use discover. T39 manage to find it (she is still holding the brick.) but when i try to send contact. She put it in the bag and i cannot find the brick. Will try in again since i am in a crowded place now.

Heh try this next time you do a BT discovery:
My house mate owns a nokia 70 Brick 50 and I got bored and did the discovery on it and then proceeded to type up an abusive SMS and then all you do is exit without sending it and go to unsent and print it via bluetooh and the 7650 goes crackers with incoming file burbles and he was greeted with my message plus some garbage that was at the front of the message (formatting, type etc. whatever).
It was funny but since I paired my T68i with it I cant do this anymore for some reason (no wait a minute its cos my T68i know that it is a phone and not a printer).
Now for some reason when im in a public place I cant resist a BT discovery.....cant think why.
The business card in the bank post was quality!!

It really isnt that difficult! I live in a small town, called Cnterbury, with a population of 14.000 and i nearly find somebody everyday. Check for where people gather. Queues at supermarkets, a packed restaurant (my biggest success!), a movie theatre, on the bus, train, metro(especially in the UK).
I was on the train to Scotland on Friday and it was a 5 hour trip. So what better to do than search for a phone to bluejack! Easy peasy it was, a 7650 showed up straight away (too many kicking around), but since the guy was asleep i felt sorry for him and spared him a " WAKE UP" message!

I usually do a quick discovery when in a pub and so far ive got nothing!
Maybe their BT is off or their BT phone is not as easy as a 7650 when it comes to BT op's!!??

hmm went to central station and the service point (to get my p800 flashed) ... nothing found
but on the way back a 6310i appeared in the list... but unfortunately it got out of range before i could send my "buy sony ericsson" buisness card.... hmm better luck next time
