Is there any way of by-passin this feature to able to blue-jack the other person's phone?

I have had the most success getting others to accept my BT messages by renaming my phone appropriately for the situation.
MESSAGE CENTRE or SERVICE CENTRE work for most situations and messages. I have used names like DEAN OF STUDENTS if I am sending a message at the university, or METRORAIL (the name of our local train transport) if I am on the train. Occasionally I will get a bit randy and use HUGH JANUS or NOSMO KING.

IMHO: Ajack is more of a genius than James Watt!

I thought i introduce my boy-friend to jacking and asked him to try it on me! He created a contact by adding one of those square smiley on his T68 and then added the text "Confusion Virus recieved" and sent it to my phone. Anyways it looked good when i recieved it and thought it would a good idea to use it on my next jack victim!

I was in my local jobcenter and thought it would a good idea to try this this out. So i switched on my and processed to send the contact to someone. I found a connection called "skydriver" and i sent it.

This is the funny part I hear a phone bleep behind me knowing the victim recieved it. I moved so i can see who it was and noticed a guy puzzly looking at his mobile phone and then he said outloud "whats this, i recieved a confusion virus"! i held myself from laughing out. He next said to his companion next to him i just recieved a confusion virus from someone who must have sent it through connection. I stood there still holding my mobile in my hand, so i pretended i was checkin something on it at the point switchin off my and put it back in my bag with a grin on my face. That sure took the boredom away from waiting to be seen!

I've now changed the contact around, by changing the text using symbols that look like the alphabet and adding a invalid mobile number, email:InSaNe@confused.com, title:M@ake u m@ad! and company:2 confuse!

Cant wait to use it on my next victim!

P.S Where can i get a list of smileys i can do like those on the T68 as well on the T610 as well?!

I bluejacked yesterday, in Amsterdam. In the tram I found a Nokia 6310i so I sent "Virus found. Buy a Sony Ericsson." to the phone. Too bad I didn't know who it was. In the N*k** shop I found 5 phones, tried sending the same text to the phones but it didn't work. At the trainstation I also found a Nokia 6310i but he couldn't connect anymore. Maybe he just stepped in the train...

I also bluejacked in a café. It was a nokia 6310i (how cliché) and the poor guy sat next to us .

There was a guy infront of us on the stenna hss [ a huge boat that carries cars ect ]

He was in his car, we were in ours ready to get off the boat... Searched for bluetooth devices.... Sure enough 6310i....

So i named a contact " This is stenna line staff could you please step out of their cars " Sent it...

His phone went of... i saw him in the mirror showing the phone ot his wife... He did nothing...

So i named another contact " THIS IS THE MANAGER OF STENNA LINE HSS, COULD YOU PLEASE STEP OUT OF YOUR CAR! "

And he did lol!!!! I pissed myself laughin...

I again done a jack using my famous Confusion virus contact on my way home on a bus and i managed to get 4 victims, but i didnt expect this next thing to happen!

A person who i jacked, which a tooth connection called Nokia ta Mario, tried to pair their tooth with mine! I didnt repsond but thought creating another contact "Ur access has been denied!" and tried sending them it, but it come up with tooth connection failed. I think they may have got off the bus. Anyways its a shame as i would had alot more fun!

That's the problem with me: Everyone walks away when I try to connect OR I don't know who it is...

Try Bluejacking in a restaurant or a cinema (before the movie starts, please). Your targets will be more likely to be stationary, since they are seated, and thus easier to connect. If you have a balcoony or upper tier in the cinema, try bluejacking from there. A little altitude helps....

Was just reading this thread and I didn't seem to find the way I do this. It's the fastest I can think of.

1. Add some contacts you would like to send (this is done beforehand)
2. Get your ass to a great place for BJing
3. Phonebook -> Select one of your predone messages -> Send contact -> Via bluetooth

The phone then scans the area for devices and then you can just select the device you want to send the message to. This way you don't have to turn on the bluetooth & discover a device and then find / add a contact. This takes time and the mark might get out of the connection area. This also comes with a problem of the message but there are always-funny-messages-sent-to-any-phone like "U got h4x0r3d" or something like that. I prefer "BUY SONY ERICSSON" and I just send it to Nokia phones :)

Posted by Residentevil
Some phones will scan, however without BT turned on, they do not find anything.

Well, at least my Z600 turns on the BT automatically and scans then the area. After that the BT is turned off. Again, when sending the BC it turns on BT automatically and sends the BC and then again BT is turned off. I think this feature is very brilliant. Don't know about other models, though.

Cool, tip! Tried and it worked for me, save time going through the old method and i can get victims without them even knowing it, if they try to find out who it was by checking for tooth devices that are switched on!

@ Frubin

Are you telling me that before searching to send a contanct, you'd first search to pair your phone ?

2 searches ? that sooooo not necessary !

hey ne1 ever blue jacked a moto v600 or tried blue jacking with 1. bought 1 3 weeks but haven't tried blue jacking with it yet. it has the feature 2 send contacts via bluetooth but don't kno if it will b as sweet as my 616.

Posted by ajack
@Tec9: SMan is only for the UIQ platform (ie. Sony Ericsson P800/P9x0)

Posted by mercury_at724
can anybody teach me how to use the bluejack in sman?
tried scanning and i could detect the phones that has the bt turned on but i could'nt send the message "SE rules!" , the owner of the phones have to accept the bt sending in order to recieve the message. Is there a way that i could send it without the user granting the request?

Posted by etaab
Yes, bluejack SE phones.. they dont need permission.

No you dont need to pair your tooth with the another mobile tooth sent a contact to it!

I found out i can do it either when i have my tooth physically turned on (or off) and when i want to send a contact to another mobile.

I do this by going to my phone book, selecting the contact i want to send ie my "confusion virus", select send contact via tooth. The tooth searchs to find any devices (or automatically switches itself on if its orginally not) that are switched on and then i can send it. (it switches back to off if it wasnt physically switched on the first place.)

Hope that makes it more clear to you?

You misunderstand me, im not asking how you bluejack, but why people search once for Bluetooth phones, and then search again to send a contact, when you only need to choose the message you want to send then have it ready to hit VIA BLUETOOTH..

I know how to bluejack, been doing it a year now !

Stick your radio onto BBC Radio 1 if you're in the UK now!

They're talking about Bluejacking and gonna do some 'live' on-air bluejacking!!

BBC Radio 1 are still on about Bluejacking today and just had our very own JellyEllie on the phone doing an interview!

Emm, moved this Nokia promotion jacking story here:

I thought I'd share this little story with the board, which I found quite amusing

Yesterday (10th/Spet) I was in Manchester town center for some shopping, none of the shops got any case for the s700 (1 WEEK NEW).

Anyway, while walking about on Market street I saw some guys and gals dressed in Blue Nokia jumpers setting up some stands, and they have some boards that saying something like "Nokia 7610, the Perfect Mobile Imaging Solution or something".

This, we all know, is a white lie, currently there is no phone in the GSM market that comes close to S700's imaging capabilities, so they deserved to be bluejacked

First I set up an contact called "Nokia R WEAK, Get Sony Ericsson" and bluejacked one of the 7610s they promoters were demostrating to on-lookers, I've not had much success jacking Nokias before, but I think the girl on the stand got it and was showing it off to her mates LOL, it would be funnier if the onlookers saw that .

I decided to take things one step further and went to talk to the girl on the stand, turns out they are demostrating Bluetoothing pictures taken by the 7610s to an Epson printer with BT and prints out pics to give away to people .

Anyways, they asked if I was interested in getting my pics taken and printed out, I said, no thanks, I dun wanna be taken by a 7610 LOL, but if she's up for it, I will take a pic of her using the S700.

She agreed and posed with a nice smile for the SE . And we printed it out by BTing from S700 to the Epson. only 3 key clicks!

LOL, in a hushed voice, she told me the S700 would be her own choice given the options

It's all great fun, 7610 is a nice phone in it;s own right, but the claim "Perfect Mobile Imaging Solution" deserved to be satired on

here are some photos by the S7

A seedy shot when I was sneaking upon the Nokia stand, lol, didn't even try to focus, so the quality is low.

The girl from Nokia stand, she was standing under this tree that's why she looks even more tanned than she is LOL.

Ugly like nokia's she is

Nice she agreed to support

nailed my first k700i yesterday in the florida mall food court while I was eating some sushi for lunch. I was quite happy since It was also the first time I had seen one here in the states (I saw it in the cellphone shop not the user I couldnt find them.) after this good time though I was infuriated by a clerk at a stand who rolled his eyes at me when I asked him how much the p900 on display was going for. but on the other hand the guy at beepers and phones was very cool and answered all my questions so I bought a hbh-600 from them.(sorry for going off topic)

Nailed my first 2 victims today at my local shopping centre.
The first one was outside an electronics store the poor bastard had a 6310i, so (with my k700i) i made a new contact with the name "1 virus detected, click yes to quarantine" and then sent it to the stooge. the look was priceless i couldnt contain my laughter so i ran outside and then burst out with laughter, everone stared at me
The second one was out the front of a vodaphone shop, i searched for any devices around but none came up from the vodaphone shop. i tried again and there was a kodak printing machine on my list. i looked around and in e pharmacy next door, sure enough was the printing machine which for some reason was bluetooth enabled. so i tried (out of my own stupidity) sending a contact to the printer, of course it didnt work. Then i decided to take a spy shot of the lady at the counter and then send it to the printer, it worked. on the screen showed a dodgy photo of the lady and i just couldnt resist going up and pressing print, and then kindly walking away as if nothing had happened.
I LOVE BLUETOOTH

can someone teach me how to bluejack a nokia 3650? i'm using an SE-P900. tried bluejacking my wife's nokia3650 for testing but it always ask permission whether to accept the bluetooth or not.. is there a way to by pass that?

Posted by Residentevil
Unfortunately not. The only way to make the recipient trick into pressing yes is with a nifty message as in "accept software upgrade from service center?".

Yes, there are, but, sorry, I don't know the name. Try search in Google for 'bluejacking programs'

Btw, that program is for symbian only!

Fantastic thread, got P910i last week and finally got most features sussed. Not been able to Bluejack yet but going away on stag weekend tomorrow so will be looking whilst at airport!! Anyone got any suggestions for funnies?

Posted by lamlamblam
Well I thought I put my story of bluejacking I did this weekend. In my town shopping centre was Nokia stand promoting the Nokia 6230 and the Nokia 7600. They where taking pictures of people and printing them via a blue tooth printer there. The idea come to me after reading this thead. I did a search and found the printer so I sent some 'dodgy pictures' to the printer. The girls runing the stand where bewillerd to what was being printed out.
