Hey! "BJ" and "Bluejacking" are TWO different things...

If you do not know what "BJ" is, just PM me, not very polite to say what it is in this "G" rated forums.

Today I was at a demonstration in town. It's called Five to Twelve (fem i tolv) and is a demonstration against racism. I have been a little bit involved with arranging it so I walked around in the crowd sending "Good you came." to eve3rybody I could find. Blujacking have a useful purpose too

@abby
im not sure if he knows but he did change his phone name to "away" after the first ten bluejacks lol
he lives in a converted post office so i sent him a note that read "do you still sell stamps?" lol lol

I was in town today with my Mum and son and oh what a time I had bluejacking!
I scanned and sent my first contact, “Greetings from Heaven” to a nearby device. It went through ok but I don’t know who my victim was! I suspect it was a girl with her boyfriend but they disappeared in a shop and up some stairs and I couldn’t follow to send her anything else because my son is in a wheelchair.
I stopped outside a phone shop and about four unknown devices appeared but none of my contacts were successful.
It became apparent to me that it doesn’t matter whether you stand still or walk around. If you stop, your victim could be a moving target and disappear out of range yet if you walk, you could walk out of their range (if they’re sitting or walking in another direction). Or you can be lucky and keep pace with them. It’s the luck of the draw really.
I sent a further three successful messages saying, “Merry Christmas” to unknown devices at various places in the shopping centre, one of which was in WH Smiths. I didn’t see who my victims were though
I spotted my last victim and had some fun! Mum and I were going into a card shop which has a café inside. I did a scan and spotted an unknown advice so sent the “Merry Christmas” message. I heard a Nokia beep and looked around frantically. Then I spotted a middle-aged man sat at a table with his wife and he’d brought a Nokia 6310i out of his pocket! I was thrilled! So, I sent another contact, “Nice phone” – well, it was nice because it was bluejackable! The phone beeped again and he looked at it. Sadly he had his back to me (I was in the card shop) so I couldn’t see his face. His wife seemed neither curious nor bothered by this “intrusion”. I typed a new contact, “Enjoy your drink” but although it went through ok, I didn’t hear a beep so I thought he’d switched his phone off. I sent it again just in case… A bit later than I would have expected, his phone beeped twice in quick succession! Oh this was such fun! I was on a high! Then I sent him a previously typed contact, “Help! I’m lost!” which I’d read on this site somewhere. His phone beeped. Finally, Mum said shop assistants were becoming suspicious of us so I sent one final contact, “I luv the smell of coffee,” which he got. As Mum and I walked passed and said aloud, “Mmmm. Mum, I love the smell of coffee!” I looked over my shoulder. He was busy reading a book and didn’t look up. Maybe he was deaf? Well, never mind, I had great fun, even so!

I had a similar reveal to that when I was on a train once.
I had sent somebody a few messages, including 'Enjoyed the facilities?' after he'd come back from the toilet, and knew who he was. When I was about to get off the train I sent him 'Listen out for parrot' and as I walked past I said (a little too loudly) to my dad 'I hope our parrot will be OK!'
Hehehehe that certainly grabbed his attention, he turned and smiled at me, laughed and kept waving as I got off the train and onto the platform.

Who, me? Yes, I have a P900. I was going to name him Sparky but I just received a text from my friend saying that Sparky is the name of a gay dog on a TV program South Park.
Posted by Universal Exports
When did you get one. Bluejacking heaven
Posted by jellyellie
Erm, my dad bought it on Monday, but officially gave it to me on Wednesday

You are a lucky kid
Posted by jellyellie
Yeah, I'm a lucky kid, but I don't have a rich dad (lets hope I can make him rich... I've gotta be rich first though). We used the method posted in 'Free P900 @ CPW' thread

Anyone bin jackin in London 2day? I mean, there was an estimated 750,000 ppl there watching the England rugby team parade, someone must have had a victim or 2(thousand) hehe :-D

What exactly is SMan?
Posted by Prosody
SMan
I think the guy who does it hangs around here.
From what I gather it does a lot of things as well as being a handy-dandy automated blue-jacker tool
Posted by Prosody
I just installed it and its awesome.
Makes it a lot easier to bluetooth files to devices in general (the in built SE way wasn't too user friendly), to automate bluejacking and generally kepping all the running tasks in order.
It's replaced "Switcher" on my system and I'm really happy with it.
Kudos to whomever made it.

@prosody:
Glad you like SMan, make sure you have SMan v1.2c installed.
Yes, I am one of the two people who developed SMan, droll is the other guy who developed SMan.

Yeah ajack rules
BTW can anyone confirm...is there even an option in the new blokias that you can set for automatic reception of bt stuff? Most newer phones don't accept business cards automatically anymore, and I tried to fiddle around with an n-gage once but didn't find any option there either. (so I could have bluejacked it from a distance

Yesterday i bought my P900, i was curious about applications and i found SMan, didn't knew wat Bluejacking was... I was in the cafe/pub with some friends and showing off my new toy
Anyways, this forum is cool
Posted by gelfen
got my first one last friday in the cinema. we were waiting to see SWAT, and i was showing my friend (who has an n-gage) a few things with BT. i took a photo of his girlfriend (my fiance's sister) and sent it to him via BT and showed him a few bt-jacking things (buy se, nice taco, virus installing....etc.) and how to rename his phone.
anyway, in the cinema i did a search without really hoping for much because there were only about 15 other people in there. i found a t610 and showed my buddy, so i sent a 'nice phone' to the t610. the guy must have had it on silent, 'cos we didn't hear anything, but my buddy turned around to look and it turned out my 'victim' was sitting right behind me and had seen the whole thing (damn z600 has a bloody bright screen/keypad). the guy leans forward and says, "excuse me, did you send something to my phone?" i said, "yeah mate, just having a laugh". meanwhile the others are pissing their pants because they think i'm about to get bashed (seedy part of town), but the guy was pretty cool and just said "bluetooth, yeah." so i show him my z600 and it turned out his dad had just got one. i reckon the guy must have had it on discoverable just to get jacked.

I still have enormous amounts of fun sending "Warning! Virus detected!" or "SIM card failed" to all those who don't know how to turn off BT...
and it's also good for fighting off the boredom in lectures...

is there anyway that i can setup my z600 so that when a bluetooth device is nearby my phone can alert me. i ask this because today i was searching for someone to bluejack (my first time!). the search came up empty. when i got home i opened the flip on the phone and it told me that it had found a 7650. it must have found the phone somewhere on my way home. pity the perfect opportunity wasted.
Posted by bluejack
that would be a cool feature, like an "always on/always on the lookout" thing...bluetooth usb dongles have that...
rather than sending business cards with messages, i'd rather send photos
Posted by red-mdc
I thnk ajack shud go down in history for discovering bluejacking.its so much fun who else agrees ?
