@floke,

Bluejacking with an Palm (Tungsten T or Clie with BT) is simply. Write an adressbook or calendar entry. Select this entry and go to the main menu / send adress / Bluetooth.

The palm searches for BT devices. Now you can choose the foundet devices that your are licke to send an vcard or calendar entry.

I do know no programms for the Palm to Bluejack. This is the seld method how on a T68i, T610 or Knokkia 3650/7650.

regards

All-Day Events on T68i - FIRMWARE UPGRADE

Write to

Mr Katsumi Ihara
Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications
Sony Ericsson House
202 Hammersmith Road
London W67DN

Fax :+44(0)208 762 58 87

with your
request for a firmware upgrade that adds all-day events
ability to the T68i.

This is one of the most sought after features for this phone,
dreamed of by thousands of loyal T68i users around the world.

With the ability to store all-day events in your T68i you would
then be able to truly synchronise your handset with, for
example, Apple's iCal via iSync, or any other sync software for
that matter, without the need for the sync software to translate
all-day into 12:00am-11:59pm.

With all-day events you'll be able to make appointments whilst
on the road with only your phone, safe in the knowledge that
it contains ALL of the items from your calendar so you will
never double book again.

That address again for T68i all-day events firmware upgrade is

mailto:katsumi.ihara@sonyericsson.com

Sync and Enjoy!

You just gotta love bluetooth.
The most impressive bluejacking experience I had was at a technology expo in Dubai...that should say enough

Posted by shorty
I was at ECTS in London on Thursday & Friday of last week

I just stood by the Vodafone live! area and bluejacked a dozen Nokia muppets on their OWN stand (N-Gage stand).. ahahahahahhaa

Well done shorty

I've lost track of the amount of successful Blue Jacks i've done. One of the funniest was when I was with my mates at a shopping centre. My friend was eyein up this bloke who was with a couple of his mates and he was flashing his 3650 around as if it were something to be proud of. Anyway she spent 10 minutes banging on about how gorgeous he looked when I just thought I hope he has his bluetooth on. So I searched for bluetooth devices and found 3... quickly I sent my business card to each one. Unfortunately all but one failed. A few seconds later I heard a beep and a mate of his pulled out his Nokia (don't know what model) and was looking at his phone for a long time.

My mates didn't know what was happening so I explained to them what I'd done whilst sending a second business card saying 'my m8 likes 3650 boy'. When he got that message he burst into laughter and started looking around and spotted us. Then he showed everyone his phone.

Anyway the final business card i sent was my friends number with 'call her'. We then just left and I recieved the usual "i can't believe you just did that" talk. Couple of minutes later my mates phone rang and it was him. I couldn't stop laughing. He spent about 10 minutes talking to her, most of the conversation revolving around how I managed to get their attention. He said had a gf but he told my friend it was a laugh. I still havent been forgiven although she can see the funny side of it

G'day all: Had an accidental BlueJack today, believe it or not.

Wuz connecting my much awaited BlueTooth module for da bran nu Tablet PC... in a cafe, cuz couldn't wait...; when as I was starting to pair with my S-E (T68i)-

- a bloomin' Blokia comes up on the radar!!

7650 - but wasn't PC ready and by the time I scanned by phone was gone. Hrmph! But shows ya wots possible...

@ joe 'f' ..nuts: your contribution to this site as a whole leaves loads to be desired.

Have read your contributions and they're full of toilet gags and smut innuendo and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE.

By your overall behaviour I'm betting you're all BLOKIA boy!

Go start yer own 'BJ' thread where I'm sure u can amuse yourself with pic posts of your own solo efforts.

Posted by ajack
@all:

Guys... why don't you visit my site right now. I just posted a news titled "Bluetooth turns airwaves blue" which is an intesterting derivative to bluejacking (again, "BJ" and "bluejacking" are two DIFFERENT things... ) I bet the people who thought this up are fellow bluejackers and may even have read this thread.

I'm so proud of myself... doh!

Ohhh... NOk*a sux....

Posted by Miss UK
@ Vlamm. I wish that ahh could tryit but im doin sumat wrong n no1 has myphone to go thru it with me :( @ Jb. Standout from the crowd am sure uo'll find sum1 then!

Posted by jbendaou
Miss UK,How in the world do you want me to do that??? the place is always FULL, and i have seen soo many showing off their 3650's and 6310i, and when i send my BJ contact, i can't just start stoping by everyone's table and looking at their face!!! can i?

Posted by jaimingandhi
I was almost caught today. Was attending my college lecture today when I realised that professor had 7650. After a few minutes he receives \"what a boring lecture\". I was looking at his facial expressions and almost burst out laughing. He gave a disgusted look and continued teaching. I was saved from shelling out Rs 500 as fine for using mobile during lecture hours. (Thats rule at my college- very stupid rule I know)

My look seems to have changed i got one at a car auction today its getting better cant wait till next time

@aussie kid
you're taking yourself way too seriously mate...

Had a good go the other week in a duty-free Dixons store before went on holiday. So many BT devices! Palm, Casio's etc... my poor T68i couldn't decide who/what to abuse first! Luckily, a 6310 (?) came up on me radar, and after a quick scan round I came to the conclusion that is was a customer's as they didn't sell phones. So spent a good 5 minutes torturing the guy as he walked round the store with such cards as 'Shop at Dixons' etc. He got pretty freaked and started to show the shop assistant his phone, at which point I made my exit.

Hehe. Nokia simpletons.

The very best place i've found for finding clueless cronkia users is in the arrivals hall of international airports, right where the passengers come through. In my experience these being Gatwick and Heathrow.

I remember having about six victims at one point on my screen during a recent visit.
You get a nice captive group of mostly business types it seems.

Posted by bullo
ok im new to thsi does the phone have to have bt turned on or does it just have to be shown?

Posted by supraking

Posted by gk141054
Jesus people, this threa started ages ago and I can't believe i have only just found it. How funny is Bluejacking, I just have to wait till tomorrow now to try it.

I think that a good place to try it will be at a football match because loads of people crammed into a small space.

Can't wait.

Ps, can my T610 with BT switched on be detected in this way?

G

Posted by ajack
@gk141054: Yes they can, set your T610 to \"Auto\"

It was good hunting last night......I was down the pub as usual and was watching England vs Macedonia (and keeping an eye on the Rugby as England were kicking French ass ) and I decided to do a quick bluetooth radar sweep and lo and behold "Andys Phone" appeared and I sent the classic "Buy Sony Ericsson!" contact

Moved around a bit and found a T610 (tried to send a "nice phone!" contact but couldn't

Then the most glorious moment! I bluejacked my first N*kia 6310i I had not got one of these before and I sent "Buy Sony Ericsson" followed by "You've Been Bluejacked" and finished it off with "Your Phone is Crap!" unusually they did not switch off thier phone like most clueless N*okia users as it was still on the radar but I decided to be nice and leave them alone I didn't manage to clock the victims reaction tho

This was the first time I'd been on a bluejacking run since my phone's software was upgraded to R8

So far I have only managed to get 70brick50's but now I can add a 6310i to the list I've "had" a few phones where I did not have a clue what type of phone it was

Im now on the look out for a 70brick50 where I can see the victim and Im gonna send em a photo of themselves once I sent em a nice note, contact etc. (Remember to move when you take the photo otherwise they'll know it was you )

Keep postin' those bluejacking runs! and good huntin'

The Ipaq (PocketPC 2002) with Bluetooth integration can record all received BT Devices with their MAC-Adresses. What can i do with these MAC adresses?

I know the MAC Adresses are once for every devices.

assumed I would have a very strong bluetooth transmitter and would try the devices by push a visiting card to send on the MAC Adress. cannot carry out it however it theoretically would go with an transmitter with an enorm capacity?

Posted by genesis_alien
can i use the SE T610 to bluejack??

I thought I read somewhere that there is some software for the P800 that automatically sweeps for devices.

Anyone know of such an app?

First BlueJacking experience, and y'all know that there is nothing like YOUR FIRST time ! Was at Lagos airport on Saturday, in NIGERIA, arriving from Jo'burg, waiting for the luggage, and spotted a couple of BLOKIA users, 6310s mostly and decided to give it a try... sent them the "Buy Sony Ericsson" contact first (from my soon-to-be-replaced-with-T610 T39m), boy was I nervous! Heard a beep, spotted some dude checking, and the expression on his face was priceless, he had been BLUEJACKED in AFRICA - could I be a first?! Then sent him a "Why the NOKIA" contact, followed by VIRUS DETECTED, by which time he was now looking around frantically in a panic stricken way, and showing the "messages" to his mate, couldn't share my joy with anyone, and could barely contain the giggles. Decided to stop and look for other devices and NOKIA 3650 came up, but could not send anything...

But it was such a joy... My FIRST BJ experience... (BJ - Blue Jacking ofcourse!)

Nothing like bluejacking is there? I do it a whole lot more with the P800, I used to have a 6310i, which was a beast for Bluejacking on, and I even managed to bluejack a P800 from it *yay* You gotta admit it, it really isn't THAT bad a phone
