Posted by justkirŪ
yeah...i had the same problem....guys! please advise...! :?)

Posted by Dj Boyi
Anyone? I'd like to do some Bjackin now i keep discovering nokia's! :-)

Posted by gatevital
Maybe it is asking for a passkey bluejacking though i managed to do a demo 6310 in the middle of a o2 store.

Posted by Dj Boyi
It dont ask for a passkey, from sending it says connecting then connection failed! SW version is r6a if thats any help.

Posted by Whave
passkey is only needed for pairing. but i think you can set nokia phones an option, so they will accept only paired connections. but i'm not sure.

Posted by warrmr
theres a guy at work that has paired our phones so all i have to do is walk inot the staff room and i cna send dodgy pics to his handset without it having to be confirmed. and he can only dot eh same to mine if i have BT on descoverable lol

Posted by Lars
@boyi
connection failed means that person rejected your BT transfer.

Oh man!

I used to bluejack with my T68i, but then replaced it with a P800, which didn't seem to be as quick and as friendly for this fiendish pasttime...

However!!! I can strongly recommend SMAN filemanager software, available free from my-symbian.com. This modified filemanager has a bluejacking feature built in, which allows you preconfigure a bluejack message, and then either scan locally for victims and which throws up a list from which you can select your target, or, get this - do the proximity sweep and 'attack' ALL devices!!!

Genius!! Nokias 6310i's were popping off all around me on the train on the way in!!!!

LOL!!

Did agood bluejack in a phone shop in Nottingham (UK). The shop is called Tomo for anyone who's interested, near the Victoria centre. Inside thy have a nokia 3650 and an SE P800. Nearby to them is a Hewlett Packard BT printer. I did a search with my T610, found the printer, an "Unknown device", the P800, the 3650, another T610, a 6310i and a 7650. I sent a contact to the 7650 saying "How you doin?!". Didn't hear a thing. Then I went to my pictures where i have a vga sized pic i sent from my pc (via IR) to my T610. Its a picture of a teddybear sitting on a vacuum cleaner getting a blowjob from it! I sent it to the printer, and it kicked into life and started printing. A female assistant went over to it to see what it was doing, and when it finished, lifted the paper out and started laughing. I had a big grin on my face, she looked at me and said "I dont suppose you know anything about this?!" I had to confess, and told her I had bluejacked her printer with the funny picture. She then said "I have bletooth on my phone" and pulled a 7650 out of her pocket, the very one I sent the "How you doin?" contact too, she was quite impressed, but switched her bluetooth off in case I was about again! The shop manager saw what was going on and said "you could get yourself in trouble doing that!". I just laughed at him and said "I was bluejacking your shop, not hi-jacking it!" and left laughing. He wasn't impressed.

Hello,

i often do Bluejacking. Walking through the city (munich) and found very many phones the most are Nokia 6310(i) i have all send my emailadress in a vcard. From 100 people do only 1 write me an email. The other are give no reply. Siemens S55, 6310(i) and T610 are good.

3650 and 7650 users ignore my vcards. On this both Nokias is komming an alertbox to accept or not accept the vcard. This is very bad.

I search for Bluetooth Jacking software(java) for the SE T610, do you know what?

the day before yesterday i tried to bluejack some people at the tram stop. i found 2 nokias (a 3650 and a 6310i), but couldn't bluejack them... the 6310 guy would see me, and he looked like an agressive person and the 3650 sometimes disappeared and always said: failed connection. hungary is kind of poor country, so it was impressive i found 2 phones!

Posted by AdsP800
I am a SE convert! I only bought my P800 a week ago.. I tried a few times here in Brisbane (Australia) to bluejack but so far havnt found anything...Im going to go into town today and see if I can find any "victims"! I also work in the city so I think weekdays will have far better possibilities than on the weekend.

Posted by AdsP800
Grrr I went into town as I said and did some searching and found a few Brick 6310i but all had passkey protection on! I did however go into a local electronic retailer and send a saddam hussein contact to a Toshiba Pocket PC.

Posted by ajack
@AdsP800: Why was passkey an issue? Since you have a P800, why not use SMan v1.1a to bluejack? :)

Posted by AdsP800
Will have to try SM...However! Good news! Im pretty sure I did my first bluejack today...I was on my way back to work from lunch and stood outside a cafe, I did the random search and up came a Nokia 7650, so I sent the owners card, "buy a Sony-Ericsson or your phone will CRASH!"
I thought at first it had failed, because the message that came up was,
"failed to send contact to Nokia 7650". But when I turned around this guy had his 7650 out was looking around, looking very pissed off!

The only thing is that message that says that the transfer failed...when aparently, it did not. I have had the same result alot of times, perhaps I was more sucessful at this than I thought! However it would be nice to have a confirmation that it suceeded instead of saying the opposite..any clues on how to fix this? What im doing is selecting the msg to send, selecting send as bluetooth, the P800 does its search thing, I select the Nokia and press send.

Should I be searching first, then bonding, then sending the message?

R520m is the Godfather of all Ericsson phones which have Bluetooth !

Posted by jay2003
finaly i got my T610 and i tried loads of time to search for bluetooth but only got a couple of device and when i tried to send them a not it said connection failed

Posted by AdsP800
I DID IT! I stood outside a cafe in the city today, did a search and up came a Nokia 6310i. So I sent my Saddam Hussein contact...I looked around and there was this businessman and a friend also in a suit..looking at this brick like it was possessed! So I then sent my classic, Get a sE or your phone will crash!...and he started laughing. Unfortunately I would have loved to have stayed around and played with him more but I had to go back to work

Posted by jay2003
hmm do people have to accept the note/pic/tone what you send through bluetooth?

Cause I was tryin to send a pic/note to a 7650 in the o2 shop 2day!!

Posted by Whave
yes. the only thing you can send is a contact.

Posted by jay2003
So I can send them a contact saing anything and they will automatically receive it?

Posted by augustborn9917
@jay and whave: you can send anything via bluetooth: contacts, notes, .gifs, ringtones, etc. thats the beauty of bluetooth connectivity. people use contacts because it stays up on the screen and prompts whether to accept or not. in some cases, all you see are names on the screen, all the better. heres some contacts i have ready:

VIRUS INSTALLING........ (normally stops them on their tracks)
follow up with:
VIRUS INSTALLED.......... (the......is crucial)
follow up with:
DELETING ROOT FILES........ (frantic by now)
follow up with:
VIRUS IMBEDDED (uh-oh, notice ....is gone)

then (depending on my mood):
"BUY SONY ERICSSON" to let them off the hook. half the time i let them walk around and let them think something willl happen. any little glitch, i see them going to the service canter and saying " i saw VIRUS INSTALLING, does that mean anything?"

Posted by jay2003
Yeah I know I tried sending some pics/notes through bluetooth in the o2 shop but the guy must have not accepted!!

In the supermarket I sent a contact saying "I Am The One" to some guy just looked around!!

When sending a contact the automatically get them, but then choose if to accept rather than like a pic/note they have to accept first for it to send?

Also if it only the Name\Enail you can write words in a contact?

Hello everybody ! I am a "damned" brick user, i have a 7650. My friend has a SE t610 and its truely a great phone. SE is great. And nokia is great FOR ME too. You can blame me, if you want. I found this topic and tried it out (bluejacking). Today I BJ one old woman in a bus (she had a nasty 6310i) with contacts like "Matrix is watching you.." and "You'll die in 48 hours". She was f**ing frightened and looked around. The next step today was that I BJ abou 4-5 6310 in a shopping gallery in the city center (I live actually in Dresden). It was a great success for such a pissed off brick user like me wasn't it ? Then I went to SATURN, elctronic/hifi/TV shop and started a proggi "irRemote" and turned off many of big Plasma TVs - shop personell paniced but havn't found me
So, my answer, guys : can you call me a part of yur BJ community or what it supposed to be, even if I am a brick user ?

Pavel, from Dresden

P.S. Sorry for my poor English

nokia7650user - what is this irremote proggie thing you are talking about ? It seems very interesting...

haha, that is one thing i don't hear many SE people talking about! it is a series 60 (read: nokia 7650/3650) program that lets you pic a TV or VCR or amp and then control it through your infrared. i don't know if its out for the p800, but that is the only SE phone it could work on since it is a symbian program. great fun by the way! i trick stores with my 3650 with it all the time!

Posted by Whave
@augustborn9917 i know you can send anything via but only contacts do make sense, because even if they don't accept it, they will see the 'name' tag of the contact

hello all,

i had my first propper bluejacking experience with my t610 today and it was a freaky one! i was on a london underground train and sent my own to a 6310. then i heard the message recieved tone right infront of me!! i put my head down and got off at my stop. i tried it again in liverpool st staion at i found about 5 other devices! but with everyone moving about it was hard to send anything. i must say it looks like this will be alot of fun

Posted by nokia7650user
@daedos :
hmm this proggie is irRemote and its only shareware but not a 15 days trial version or something like that and you get a full functionallity and can get it here : http://www.psiloc.com/?id=prod&nrp=84
there is a new version, total irRemote : http://www.psiloc.com/?id=prod&nrp=94

so, as i've allready said, great fun...

nokia7650user:

I've had a look and it seems only 60 series Nokias and the Symbian OS (eg. P800) are supported. Dang!!!! Shame the supported phones are still bricks. If only they were 20mm thick and weigh <100g, hmm..

Java version for T610 any body?

Posted by AdsP800
I had an idea...what about bluejacking the police? hehe

Posted by nokia7650user
I dont think there is a java version of this program cause java hasnt any implementation for a direct hardware support and so i see no way for older products of SE. I mean the old versions like 6210 and 8310 cant do such things too and only new bricks have symbian OS installed. I would buy a P800 but here in Germany this SE brick (ih yeh, it is big, thick, and huge) costs 400Eu with contract and the only better future is a big touch screen and Symbiab 7.0. Surely its a great phone but not everybody has so much bucks to buy it - and 7650 costs only 1Eu ! And dont blame witch expressions like "its better to pay 400Eu for SE than 1 for Nokia " and so, its like with G.Accelerators for computers : ATI is faster at the moment than NVidia - so we buy Ati. Its not a question of brand name, its a question of cost/quality and SE AND Nokia have many different products with different cost/quality. And that schould not be the reason for a war between SE and Nokia users ! You BJ us, we BJ you - everybody is happy and BJ becomes multiculturell - this is the way it schould be, with nokia, se and other phones.

The phone is a phone, if it has BT or not, that's the question...

heh the blue led is sure decorative and nice on the t68i, but it makes bluejacking noticable

Caught out the Tomo shop out again (in Nottingham UK on Clumber street www.tomoworld.co.uk ), sent a picture of a young lady lifting her skirt up showing what she's got! I had saved it to my phone at 640x480 vga size. I stood outside the shop just out of sight, and did a search. I found the usual Nokia 3650, P800 and Hewlett Packard printer in the shop. I then sent the lovely picture of the scantily clad young lady. Only wish I could've seen the reaction of the staff and customers in the shop when it printed off! I think they'll be my new regular victims!!!

I love it!

Hello everyone! Since i read this forum, i started bluejacking people! I have tried to do this about 15 times, and only been succesfull about 5.. I have noticed that the brick 3650 never accepts my contacts! Does this happen to you too??! Some 7650 that have their bt on, don't accept it either.. And most of the people that i see walking around with their bricks, have their bt off. Most of the brick users don't seem to know what's the bt for.. DUH.
My girlfriend gets mad at me everytime I try to bluej. in front of her! Eheh, she's afraid I meet pretty girls.. I WISH

040571: reading the first page of this thread should give you a pretty good idea!

Posted by ajack
if you have a P800, you don't even have to know how it works... just use it (SMan v1.1a)...

Posted by sonic_cd
lol...today found a t610(no mistake a t610), n one of those new sony clie pda with bt built in..first started by sending notes to the t610,then sensding pictures..then as a final act i took a picture of the woner and sent it to the clie..his reaction was damn funny to watch..

Today I really bluejacked a stupid guy
I was at a pub, and did a scan for bt devices, and there it was, my first victim of the night, "ABJonhy"! I first sent a contact: "Are you the one?". And then, a beep! It was a brick! 7650 my favourite! He started looking confused.. Then I sent "(name of the pub) really sucks", and then he just turned the phone off, took the battery, removed his SIM card and put it all back together! (Really stupid!). Then i made another scan, and guess what, he still had his Bt on! Then, i sent him "Stupid t-shirt u have". He GOT MAD!! Ehehe!!! He could't see who was sending him stuff And then i got out of battery I was having so much fun.. Anyway, bt rulez!!!
