you should try it in a crowded pub on a weekend. I've had some laughs with my gal pals ... It's good if you add some "choice" contacts to your phone before hand and send those ...

I have to say, sadly, the joy of bjacking is wearing thin now; my T68 seems only able to send 'contacts'; notes, tasks etc. just don't seem to go...
Can the Blokias receive the pictures ok (they are .gif files...); if so, I'll get myself the 'No to Nokia' piccie...
Steven.

I bluejacked a Siemens S55 today...
Although I had to persuade my collegue to turn his
funny thing was, his phone showed up like 001E2e8300 (or something like it). I've seen that sort of 'name' 1 time before, but it was out of range before I could do something.
I could only send contact and images to the S55, no notes.

Today I was at the Cinema And it was pretty crowded as an anticipated movie was coming out.... So i decided to Use SMAN so I searched around and Found a person... So I realized he was in the same movie So he just watched Phone Booth... Incase U dont know its abt a guy who gets snipered while hes in a phone booth and cant leave.... SO I started sending this guy messages Like:- Im watching U... I can see U rite now... I know what Ure doing... and after a while when I realized who it was I started sending: ure scratching Ure head ...I see U... It was hillarious He tried Renaming his Phones name as a way of sending a message It was soooooo Funny... Cinema's Rock I found like 50 poor Nokia Users who have blue tooth on... Dumbasses... hehehehe It was hillarious...

All this sounds very immature but also very funny. My favourite sort of practical joke.
I got my T610 a couple of days ago (my first
I've left my phone's visibilty on as well, It would be just as funny to get a message yourself one day as you'll be aware of what's going on.

Massive jacking opportunity in the form of a Sony junxion stand outside Haymarket Metro in Newcastle? Hopefully they'll have some jackable toys on there and they'll not be wise! :-)
Posted by Whave
mredd27, in the
phones the Bluetooth On function only works for the paired devices, no one can find you this way. if you want to be found, you have to turn on Discoverable mode every 3 minutes Posted by beetle_juice101
Do ya think other people know about this? People that aint Esato members?
And btw how far is the bluetooth range in a T68i ?
Posted by elmz
approximately 10meters or less!!!
so u can see and hear ur victims reactions....
Posted by Thisco
Could anyone be so kind as to help me out? I'd like some advice on which SE to buy? Either the T68i+click-on camera OR the T610.
1.)As far as I can tell, the picture quality of a photo taken with the click-on camera is BETTER than that of the T610, but ONLY if the picture is viewed as an e-mail attachement ( T68i=small screen).
Right?
2.)Both are equally good at bluejacking BUT the T610 has a permanent search mode? Or a permanent BT-on mode?
Anything else important you think I should know about?
Thanks,
Ken

my t68i cant do bluejack
i created some contacts and send it using bluetooth
then it scanned.... until found some other user
(bluetoothing not popular in indonesia, not many power user, most o us are regular dial-then-talk kinda ppl if using a cellphone) which haven't rename their device
then send the contact
but always ended fail
ne1 pls tell me how's da rite way bluejacking, i mean.. make the use of the famous bluetooth-wireless-connection?
or both device should be paired to using it?(where's the fun of it)
regards

Thisco: the t610 is way better, and you can attach the mca25 cam to it also! (as far as i know).
iw: you can bluejack only nokia phones, because of their dumb insecure

yup! sure they DO INSECURE
but i just cant! and im gettin frustated
coz i reely wanna know how u all feel when those ppl look at their brick!
y'know, that brick's very pops around in my big city, juz bcoz it can take pic!!!
get real ppl!! if you wanna take pic buy sum cam!!
i love my t68i and for next wish list i just wanna have an BT equipped pda to mobile compute!!
(psssttt. i heard rumors that there'll be 3rd party hi-ress digicam with BT capability, in store, here!!!)
Posted by Vlammetje
Correction: the MCA-25 is not compatible with the T610. It's been tried by a few ppl, as you can read here.
I'm sure, when you think about it for a second, you would reach that conclusion all by yourself as well. Why would a phone with buil-in cam be compatible with a press-on cam?

i have a question about sman: i am going to a club tonight where usuallyare many btphones now i want to know if there is and how i can set on the option to search and send the message via bt whie the phone is in my bag or pocket? thanx
Posted by Thisco
I'm really looking forward to bluejacking in the near future
It was a pity I didn't have access to a BT-enabled phone today, because Nokia had a promo-stand showing off their new, 'revolutionary' and over-priced brick in town
Better luck next time.
By the way, is anyone here from Belgium? If so, how is the success rate on bluejacking?

Can i with an notebook and an Bluetooth USB Stick with an sending area of 100meters bluejacking an person that is 80meters far from me? The mobile phone from the person can only sending 10metes. Does my vcard receives that person from the notebook?
Now the question: if i sending an vcard from device 1 to device 2, do both devices communicate between 1 device is sending an vcard to the other device or is the second device only receiving the vcard.

I went down to Temple Meads in Bristol (the main train station) to meet a mate on Friday. His train was 30min late so I decided to have a walk around looking for potential victims. You'd think that on a Friday afternoon there would be 100's of commuters at that station, some of whom would have a bluetooth phone, but I couldn't find one.
While we were out that evening though (in the bars along the riverside for anyone that knowns Bristol) I came across quite a few brick users who were recipients of my simple "You've been Bluejacked by a Sony Ericsson!" contact. Having said that, I was quite drunk at the time so it could well have been the same small group of people who I kept annoying over and over! It was so busy down there though that I couldn't make out who was receiving the contact which spoils the fun a bit. That night, N***a 6310's seemed to be my most common victim.

A salesman in "The Link" also said that. So called experts (my ringer)
He stod corrected.
Most Staff in the Link know very little about the phones they sell except the price. LOL

Here's a good tip for ebay. Saved me a ton when I bought my T68i and my HBH-60. I think the company is called AuctionSniper and what it does is put in your bid 5 secondes before the item ends and they only charge 25 cents commision. They give you 3 free tries to try it and you don't need to give your card or anything so give it a try!
Here's the link:

P.S. Check out their forum for more ebay tips!

@john draper: you can't send it, they have to communicate first. so 10 meters...

Their heads spin all over the cafe ...... while I was smiling at the escalator in front of them ..... finally....Bjacking a P800!!

I went out for a drink with my wife as the weather was very nice.
So I'm sitting there with my new T610 and I can finally try to bluejack someone for the first time
I first did a search for Bluetooth devices and lo and behold, I found a T610! How's that for a first victim
I already prepared the cliché 'The Matrix has you' contact and changed my phone's name from 'Club Nokia' to 'T610 Rulez!'
Sent the contact okay, unfortunately the T610 doesn't give any audible indication when receiving a contact, so I couldn't find out where the T610 owner was. But he'll probably be surprised to find this new contact in his phonebook
Posted by Whave
that's interesting, because as i know, the t610 only discoverable in the 'discoverable' mode, and for 3 minutes... you must be very lucky
Posted by mredd27
That was the case with the T68, but the T610 has a menu option where the phone's visibility can be set on or off and I believe it stays visible for as long as that option is set.

That's right. This T610 was visible for hours. And you can indeed set it to be always visible.
