The only problem was his mate saw me and said huh how did you do that so i walked over and chatted to him for a while he didnt even know you can do this all he knew was his phone had bluetooth (duh). Anyway he was a sound lad we exchanged pics for a bit while we was havin a drink then we went on our way to get battered !

how did you manage to send such a long message? The most I can enter is 30 characters contact name? I wanted to send a longer message last night but had to abbreviate.

Posted by stew pidass
there are 3 ways really
1: you can have more fields in the contact window by going to options and then contact info.
2: make a note and then print it to the phone you want to bluejack.
3: write a sms and then save it to unsent messages then print it to the phone you want to bluejack.

hope that helps you mate

Great! thanks. just some observations from testing with my T68i and T610

1: you can have more fields in the contact window by going to options and then contact info.

When you send the contact to the person only the name field appears on their display asking them to acceptso filling in the other fields is useless as I am sure most people reject the incoming card/contact.

2: make a note and then print it to the phone you want to bluejack.

the receiving phone just has a message saying add note, again most probably they will just reject.

3: write a sms and then save it to unsent messages then print it to the phone you want to bluejack.

When sending from the T68i to T610 I get "connection failed. Please retry" every time

Interestingly the T610 doesn't have this print option.

I had today Bluetooth Jacking Fun total with my friends. I was with friends in a very big beergarden in Munich. Greath weather and more than 1000 people are there. we went lining those up table along and have searched for BT devices and found lot of them. a few people we saw, which made thereafter also the same as we.

This was very funny!

my little summary/conclusion after been an active jacker for so long:

There are 2 types of nokia users - the Stupid and the Ignorant!!

Bear with me......the Stupids are the ones that buy noks just coz they come with tons of interchangeable covers. These folks haf hear bout BT but haf never used or played with it (well, at least until we jackers came along anyway ). Why? Pls see category they are in!!

The second category wud be Ignorant....these are worst!!! they dun even know what BT is and hafn't the foggiest idea that their nok is enabled!!!!!!!!!

With the release of multiple BT models, nok users having a phone is on the increase....and it's now harder to actually successful a nok user simply becoz the Stupids are now 'hiding' or 'turning' off the BT function of the phone (why leave it on if u dun use them - sensible). Ignorant on the other hand, needs to get educated and hence, by default, due to IGNORANce, will haf turned on. If they are fortunate, they get whacked a coupla times *for free i might add* by wielding folks like us and get educated. They then graduate to the rank of Stupid and hence, are dropped of the Ignorant list....meaning one less soul for us to successfully.

In the start, i've been getting tons of 3650.....this number has dwindled dramatically as Ignorant is slowly graduating......i'll bet due to the good efforts of many others like me *alwiz on the prowl with a trusty phone and sweeping the area frequently*

"Education Comes at a Price" obviously......the malaysian soil used to be more fertile.....

@guys: glad to hear that efforts are still up elsewhere and u ppl are having fun *which is the most important part*...cheers mates!!!!

Anyone use LINUX? There is an app out there called, \"redfang\", which will brute force access onto any Bluetooth device, visable or not! Google the name. For you who entertain Blue Jackin as a fantasy, your in for a jolt! Seeing SE is going to replace Symbian with open source Linux apps & OS's in the near future, fun fun fun is a coming!

@ shithappens In Newcastle the vast majority of phone fall into a 3rd category of Sukia user - the LUDDITES! They have Sukia phones that cost the same as my T610 but can only do half as much (no bluetooth for a start) and look like sh!te to go with it.

Posted by Dj Boyi
@Amazian,with SonyPlaystation using Linux and what you say, does this mean a possibility of a bluetooth adapter for the ps2 or is there already one available, just a thought as i was considering buying a ps2 linux kit. They are only £200:-)

Posted by MaThIbUs
Hehe. Funny. This thread started with some naughty sh¡t and now you guys are talking about PS2 Linux kits @ $200 :-D

actually what is the use of t68i's bluetooth ON function? because it's not discoverable in ON mode... i think it has use only for the paired devices, or am i wrong?

some days ago i bought a bt dongle for my PC. i searched for my t68i (i have gprs internet access), but i found a 3650 then i searched with my phone, and i found it again, and i tried to send my business card to it but i think it couldn't connect. i wanted him to send his business card to me, so i would know which neighbour of mine is him but he turned his BT off i didn't even sent any offensive things.

Posted by stew pidass
@whave:
yes the bluetooth function is only for paired devices unfortunatly, my mate has a t68i and i set it on permanantly but i couldnt find him on my radar so i paired him and bingo got him right away. it would be better if you could whack bluetooth on forever on t68i (i think so anyway) because what if u find a nice lass on the radar and sending messages to each other and keep having to put bluetooth on every 3 mins

bout last week at apples ipod celebration thing i was transfering pictures of my friend mooning the camera and pointing his middle finger(i can send you the pics while it still was on the powerbook to the powerbook with blue tooth i did that alot until the security was starting to figure out so then we ran

Posted by Sony Ericsson Indonesia
i swear you guys are goin to make bluetooth illegal

Posted by stew pidass
Nah bluetooth will never become illigal well i hope not anyway because it is so much fun watching the looks on the peoples faces when they have no clue what is going on

Posted by Whave
bluejacking doesn't mean any harm, it's just fun. it wont be illegal

I recently found out something when i asked my girlfriend to put her T68i on discoverable,
if i send a contact ( from my T610 ) that has a picture added to it
wether or not she accepts the contact, the picture is automaticly stored on her phone
Can anyone tell me if this tactic works when bluejacking a Nokia?
At the moment i have a contact ' Phone Virus Loading.....' with a virus screensaver from Esato attached to it but i havent found anyone yet
Probably because ive been reading the 54 pages on this post & havent been out for ages

I wait eagerly for an Mophun App that has a Bjacking function
Please advise when this happens
Thanks

@tRoUbLe:

I am not sure if MOPHUN can be used to write a bluejack application as I always saw MOPHUN as being a Java on steroids but still in a sandbox configuration (ie. it cannot access access anything outside the program, video and input sections of phone). Of coz, I believe I saw a bluetooth connectivity option, but that might just be fixed libraries specific to gaming and not anything else. I also heard from others that there must be some kind of digital certification process before the program can be installed on a MOPHUN compatible phone and I assume a bluejacking application won't pass certification.

Ideally, the T39, R520, T68 and P800 are the best phones to bluejack and it's a manuall process for all phones except P800 where we can automate the bluejacking process.

Hope this explains everything... Ohh! Nok*a sux...

watch how u Bjack in places with high security IE large shopping centres like touchwood in solihull. i was there as it is my regular Bjacking place and today a security gaurd came up 2 me and asked what i was doing i showed him and he escorted me to mell square and said dont come back in untill u stop annoying people. all i was doing was sending random contacts

Hi everybody !
This is going to be my 1st post here ...
Just wanted to say that this "fuck nokia" stuff here reminds me a little of the Apple versus Microshit thing... now guess what I'm on .
And: Being on a Mac with OS X u can remote controll all your apps via bluetooth...
with the proximity sensor it even goes e.g. to sleep and turns the screensaver on when u're leaving... stuff like that.
That's what bluetooth is cool for
Nevertheless Bluejacking is, too.
I like this shit here ! Go on guys !!

Greetings

Welcome to the bluejacks club lol! Ive never bin bluejacked, or vice versa my S55 can't find ne1 hmm I tried with my mates S55 and it only worked by pointing at the IRDA! hmm

Posted by Lars
anyone tried what trouble described?
BT a contact with attached picture to another BT phone.
he said the picture will be stored no matter if the other guy accepts it or not? has anyone tried it?

@warrmr:

That is why you need a P800 and SMan v1.1a...

You could set it to sweep, put your P800 in your pocket and check out the girls in the mall at the same time.

just thought id add my first bluejack experience here!

on sat night i was in this club, was a bit bored to be honest so thought id bluejack someone! did a search and found a few people so i created a contact named 'u dance like a twat' and sent it to everyone I could find.
this one guy got it, looked around and left the dancefloor looking very silly lol i had to leave i was laughing so much!

my contract is up in january so i might get a P800 or a T610 im more inclined to the T610 as its like my T68i in so many ways hell its even got the slow menus. so if anyone could write a bluejack app for the T610 i would love it. cos the P800 seems to be more of a PDA than a phone. and im not sure if thats what i want. and i dunno how mych that woudl cost on a £20 permonth tarif on O2

I Bjacked my flatmates bfriend last night, he has a 7650.. I sent a contact with a Pic attached to it, im gonna find out next time i see him if the pic stored on his phone without him accepting it

Posted by punkserb
YES! i did it! my first bluejack, and it was in the US too!
i went into an AT$T store and found bluejacking heaven. SO many phones with it turned on. so knowing the 6310i's are the easiest, i sent them all my Nokia Code Virus contact and all of them beeped! i saw one of the employees got WTF when he saw it! i gotta come back and do it again, it was great!

how traitorous (however u spell that word)

I love it!!!

Posted by shithappens
@punkserb: absolutely wicked man......

Posted by punkserb
thanks guys! i know its a nokia, but its the bloody best one out there. i would have gotten a p800 but can't afford it, but the 3650 is the best next thing (need more memory than t610 and camera is nicer).

i really love this phone.....but i hate how nokia screwed people over once again by releasing the 7250i, which is only a software upgrade away from the 7250, and they're greedy bastards and won't upgrade it!!!!

so i'm sticking it to them! i may have a nokia but i still rally for the SE cause! SE forever!!!!!*

*please give us phones with more memory

I was at a mall (which have many mobile phone shops in it) last weekend and found some victims (3 Nuke-ia phones) but I had managed to send an interesting Task to just one of those Nuke-ia phones. The task I sent is "Throw your Nuke-ia and buy a real mobile phone".

I didn't know for sure whether my Task was received or not and furthermore whether that Nuke-ia owner execute my Task or not.

*grin*

I am looking forward to see and nuke more Nuke-ia phones this weekend.

Blue-Alienator.

It would be very cool if someone would develope a bluejacking app for the T610. The app should be able to do regular prox.sweeps at customizable intervals, like every minute, and some optional automated sending of pics/contacts/notes.

This would be perfect for us T610-owners!

Posted by Blue-Alienator
Yes, I have been looking a similar application for T610 just as SManager for P800.

Any suggestions are welcome.

I did my first bjack the other day in a pub/club, some cheesy tacky DJ was on with his nokia phone stood up next to the decks, so I had a quick discover and found 2 phones. Sent a contact to the one and low and behold the DJ comes over and picks his phone up looking all bemused!
Then I sent him one with TUNE!! on, his face was classic, he went over to his mates to show em I could hardly stop laughing. Then I sent alright sexy!! Man you should of seen the dudes face - he thought his luck was well and trully in!! He hadn't got a scooby what was going on!

ngek! that was good m8!!!

I got someone in a pub the other day! It was a brick and I sent em a note which read:

Hello Nokia user we'd like to inform you that this product can cuase brain damage therefore we strongly suggest you buy a Sony Ericsson! Please don't spread the word around of Nokia being harmful to the brain as it could lead to chaos!

My phone was called Sony Ericsson

BTW I did not write the above! Someone else on this board did and I'd like to thank them! All I did was improve the grammar as it was not very good on the original.

The bloke was SOOO confused and started showing all his mates!

I went grabbing for my MCA-25 but it was in my jacket that was at home! Doh! Otherwise I'd have taken a pic of the confused one and sent it to him whilst he was still looking at his phone!

A note about the tactic described above! If you do take a picture as described remember to move to another location for the pic and then return to your original location (whilst the pic copies to the phones memory, how handy!) and then send the pic! That way they'll never know that it was you and they may even go questioning people in the general direction where you took the pic!

(don't be too obvious when you take the pic though as some bastid might tell the confused that it was you, ruining the comedy effect)

My car was in for a quick repair, and I spotted a guy with a huge 7650 brick. Got a 'Nokia sucks, SE rules' contact ready and my t68i was searching for bt devices. The guy walked away... bummer.

But wait: an 6310i showed up on my display. I was outside the waiting room, so somebody inside must have it. I walked outside the building so I could get a look through the glass. Sent the contact and a woman began to fumble around in her bag. She took the phone and passed it neatly to her husband. Unfortunately I was still outside and couldn't hear their conversation, but it was apparently that they didn't have any clue.

After I bombarded the guy with 3 more contacts ('you've been bluejacked', 'is your car ready yet', 'irritating, isn't it' ) he switched the phone off....

I've noticed that ever since I have my T68i and I have to wait somewhere in a crowded place, I get my phone and do an <,8,3,3

hahaha i can just imagine their conversation. "no way in bloody hell we're ever coming back to this place!". you'll ruin the guy's auto shop if you keep this up. excellent bluejack BTW, keep it up!

All this bluejacking shit is so damn funny! Wish I'd have bluetooth by myself, this seems so funky and funny... Beotch!

Got a couple of people at Frankfurt airport on my way back to UK today. One seemed pretty upset. He was German and with the little German I have picked up so far I could hear him talking to his coleague and heard him mention bluejacking (obviously a multi lingual word!) so I am sure he knew what happened. I had to hide my T610 very quickly because I still send the message "Buy Sony Ericsson"!

would it be funny if he was one esato member, and one day he finds out it was you by reading your post...LOL
