hi all
just wondering which headphones i should go for and why?

all are similar sort of pricing, theres a difference but not a huge one, online that is....

any way, have a few q's...... i noticed on the site it mentions the ds200/220 and ds980 both have DSP (Digital Signal Processing
Enhanced audio quality is achieved through Digital Signal Processing technology, including compression and echo cancellation)

does this mean they have actually have dsp chips built in? or is it just software, not hardware?

the differences between the ds980 and the ds200 series, is basically the screens, the 3.5mm jack and thats about it right? and the headphones?

about the hpm-90, is it just the hom-70 with a screen? sort of like hpm-80 from w900 or hpm-82 with a remote? or is there an actual improvement in sound quality?

im not fussed about the wires, just want the best SQ..... looking at things now, id say my jays d-jays have the best SQ, and would be better suited with the hpm-90 as it has the screen, which i would prefer, but then the extra wires.....

all opinions appreciated

cheers

HBH-DS980 haven't 3.5 mm. jack.
Very high quality sound and remote control work fine.

So what would everyone say... DS980 or HPM-90?

I really just need an external play/pause button and display because the K850 makes it a real pain to even just pause/resume music! I have an HPM-70 in case I need to use 3.5mm output, so Im not stressing over "losing" that.. and i think the DS980 would be good for the gym...

what's everyone think? whats everyone USING?

Can bluetooth handsfree be used for FM radio? If not, HPM-90 is the way to go, at lest for me.

Regards.

Don't be silly! Of course it can!

BTW, can anyone say how's the sound quality with the HBH-DS980?

On non-smartphone, it can't. Even if you connect a wired heasdset as an antenna, the FM-audio will not stream to the BT headset.
On the smartphone (P1i /W950i) , you can if you connect a wired-headset as teh antenna and you manually re-channel the FM-audio to BT handsfree.
Check it up at he shop. It will be an experience and feel it for yourself.
Have fun!
I am using the HBH-980, very happy with it. I like the HPM-90 too! So, its a matter of chooice between 2 great headsets.

ds970/980 offer the best sound compared to all above hf you did ask.
if hpm70 can given 7pts, then ds970/980 can be given 9pts, it had superclear sound, one of the best hf

That can't be true...
