What is the best site for polytones? TIA

Posted by chrisgray999
I think twilightwap.com/mobile is quite good. Hope this helps.

They are only for Nokias though...
If your have a T300 you could check out my site

Posted by markboyce
What is the name of your site? Is it available via WAP?

Posted by Supreme
Edit - oops, gave the wrong address -

ah, forgot that the sig doesn't show in wap...
it's supreme.web1000.com and since it's xhtml it's available both through the web and wap

This site doesn´t work!!!
I´ve tested it via Web and Wap.

Posted by Supreme
ofiaich >> I meant that the polys are nokia only...

WEiNk >> Uh, yes it does ! tested it myself just to make sure,
your doing something wrong mate.
If it continues to fail then test with GSM instead of GPRS

supreme:

love your ringtones...
now all I need is to find a way for my t68i to play polyphonic ringtones...

Posted by Rhumbabum
yeah. it sucks that the T68i can't play polyphonic ringtones. probably never will

Maybe WEiNk tried....supreme.web100.com instead of supreme.web1000.com ! I tried to access through my pc and was forwarded to -

http://web1000.globalreachinc.com/404/mainstream/abcsearch2.html

I can't access using wap with my Panasonic GD87 either!

I can see Panasonic polyphonics on the twilightwap.com/mobile site!

Really weird...
works fine for me, maby if you try with /index.html
And btw, what browser are you using ?

Posted by ofiaich
It did it again, even with /index.html

I am using I.E 6.0 with Windows XP.

Maybe the wap didn't work because the GPRS signal is sometimes poor.

Wtf, so your saying that this link aint working ?!?

Oh, and in the '*extra' link under 'polyphhonic' in twilightwap they do say that it's Nokia only but then again under '+help' they say it works with T300.. Never bother to read that far before

Posted by ofiaich
I just clicked that link.... and hey presto!

http://web1000.globalreachinc.com/404/mainstream/abcsearch2.html

appears!

strange!

Why can\"t dl polytones with 18kb higher? Is there something i need to do with my phone?:-(

Posted by jheiner
Hey, just a note... I've zipped up about 475 polyphonic ringtones (most of them made by me personally), organized in seperate folders by category, all with artist and title (hey, i'm seriously anal).

They're in MMF format, but included at this link is a program called PSMPlayer. Open the MMF file with it, choose Save as MIDI. Click "Ringtone format", and save. Not too hard.

http://merwin.bespin.org/mmf

Eventually, I'm going to get them all up in a website, but it hasn't happened yet. I store them in MMF format since it seems to be a better format (although not as widely used), smaller files, etc.

Also, for a good selection of iMelody ringtones, download the rtttltone.zip file that's on the server and then to http://merwin.bespin.org/t4a for a converter to iMelody (that i made myself

Posted by jcpsad
anyone has "simply jessie" poly?

Posted by jheiner
PSMPlayer is really easy. Just open the software, choose File -> Open, select the MMF file, and then choose File -> Create MIDI.

That's all there is to it.

Posted by alex
Hey, this PSMPlayer is a freeware or shareware? Could you provide me the link?
