Sony Ericsson w580 ringtones

How do I convert my mp3 files to the required .dcf file. And I already tried the .dm files and they do not work. Anyone have a converter for this? Or know another way for me to play mp3 files as the ringtone?

How about selecting any mp3 file (after locating it via file manager), hitting More - right selection key and choosing the option Use as -> ringtone.

Hope this helps - I believe the W530 UI is not different from that in other recent SE phones in that respect.

I have a Sony Ericsson W850i and i can use MP3 as my ringtone..

Is your phone branded by any chance?
