i blew my last tenner
so any donations of the bottom bit (not the actual earphone bit) would be appreciated i can always try my luck

has this happened to anyone else?
just looking at the bit that holds it on and seems allot more flimsy than the ones i got with my k750i
Posted by abbafan1972
Where did you buy them from? As they could be fakes.
Posted by paul101
i got them from the vodafone shop...
Posted by paul101
anyone selling the bottom thingy with the connector....
Posted by *Jojo*
@paul - Whatdayathink of the possibilities if ever you will be gettin' your THIRD one that it won't HAPPEN again
Posted by belialwafu
why did it broke? maybe the way you pull it/?
Posted by Chrispy
You could probably fix it temporarily with some super glue...
I have a spare connector like that, but i don't really want to pay to ship it to you from where i live (In a far, far away placed called New Zealand
Posted by wrecked_porsche
Dude, how did that happen?
Posted by abbafan1972
Paul101, why not post a request in the accessories wanted section to see if anyone has the adaptor part going cheap (if you haven't already done so).

i was being ever so careful with it (since it was my second pair) and it came out with the gap and i shook the phone about and out came the piece of plastic
ive tried super glue, it just comes off inside the phone.
for it to happen twice to the same type of headphones is very unlikely

ive posted my request: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=159239&forum=27
Posted by paul101
no1 got one going spare? I've even put the link in my sig
Posted by *Jojo*
@paul - I guess
should make a RECALL with this item.accessory Posted by paul101
@jojo did it happen to you?
Posted by *Jojo*
@paul - Nope, as I don't have that accessory . . . it's just kinda weird knowing that the very same fate happened to YOU - not JUANCE, but TWICE
Posted by paul101
very unlikely it is fake because i bought it from the vodafone shop
Posted by *Jojo*
Then I guess you should be gettin' a warranty with that mate
Posted by paul101
they'll only offer a replacement and the place i bought them is a good hours drive away

@paul - Compute your EXPENSES if it will be costly buying you YOUR - THIRD, or just going at the Voda-shop and have it replaced
Posted by paul101
i have £4 left to do me till the end of the month
As for going out and getting it replaced AGAIN, maybe tomorrow. (will be pretty annoyed if it breaks again)
Posted by *Jojo*
@paul - 4 UK Pounds for TWO WEEKS
Posted by paul101
i'm 16ya and get paid £70 a week (yet i manage to spend it all)
pay day is not until December
Posted by *Jojo*
@paul - OK, I guess you have to PASS on your 3rd purchase - hpm 70, as your $$$$ is veeeery limited now. Try composin' your Christmas Wish List to Santa now
Posted by aldrinus
@paul:
hey there, mate. just a thought and maybe a tip at the same time
i also use the HPM-70 with my W810i and "your" busted part is still very much alright in mine. whenever i use it, i insert it normally in any way BUT when i pull it off from the phone, i do the pulling downwards and not any other way. this is because i earlier noticed that when i do pull it off upwards, i could feel that there seems to be an opposing force to my action but when i do it downwards, it comes off smoothly. so far, so good
you could try this once you already have your third pair

I could give you the standard headphones that come with my P1i, they're awful, but at least you can harvest the bottom end.
Posted by paul101
i got a 3rd pair from the shop today (my dad went and got them
edit: it was from a different shop

@paul - Well, tell your Dad that you won't be paying that 15 UK Pounds anymore . . instead, just consider it as HIS Christmas gift to you . . . given in advance
