Hi guys and gals,

I have been having a F*** great time trying to get O2 PAYG to activate my MMS, 30 emails and each took 5 days to reply to...To cut a long story short, they agreed to activate my MMS on the 25th email and asked me to send my soft vers which is the latest R5D007 T68i and now they say MMS only compatible with R5CXXX, Bolloks ! Spent loads of money on their 50p a min number and now this ! Has someone got the email address for KAREN MOORBY head of O2 please or some senior persons address. They are useless they havent got a f*** clue what they are talking about.

Sorry about the F**** but I am pissed, im sure I am not the only one so please post email addreses, I have also copied watchdog into it as im sure im not alone.

Thanks.

Most of their email addresses are as follows. FIRST NAME.SURNAME@o2.co.uk also even tho u r a o2 online PAYG using the same name format send the email 2 @btcellnet.net 1 of them will work.

Just send the following to mycare@o2mail.co.uk: your name, phone number and tarif details, and then inform them that you need gprs activated to use mms as you already have the settings from sony ericsson. I did exactly this about a month ago and a customer service bloke sorted it out the next day. Try asking for mohammad imran or mohammad pasha.

No-one here named Karen Moorby mate, you've been led up the old garden path on that one.

I know the two Mohammeds mentioned though, thoroughly top blokes

Hi guys,

You dont know who Karen Moorby is ?? Jalu mate she is head of your E-CARE dept ! as stated on all the letters from O2 online.

Anyway I got GPRS but still user barred on MMS but I got Watchdog on the case now as they are very interested at the fact that staff do not know what they are doing and the 5 day response times ! I am currently in correspondance with High level complaints, they seemed very interested in me all of a sudden as soon as the BBC got involved, they too have had a lot complaints for O2 online ! Go on make a complaint to them iff you had a bad experience, the more the merrier.

Hopefully watchdog have an effect on o2 before their free service runs out on jan 31st! Do you know when they are going to air it on tv?

Theres a suprise more bad feedback about o2 customer service! Jalu works 4 o2, shame he isone of the few helpful ones. My other posts under other threads backs up that o2 need 2 buck their ideas up quickly before the backlash starts!

My problem is with sms i can send fine but i an sick of people sending me them and them never arriving! I have even tried sending myself some from vodafone and i get message not sent error about ten per sent do not come through but customer services say there is no problem

I spoke to 1 of their researchers and she is monitoring the outcome of my issue. O2 online dont even have a complaint dept they had to pas it to sister o2

Posted by goolies
I will let u knw if and when they will air it. Im stil waiting for Go2 hell to sort my mms ! U guys do knw they are using us as guinea pigs to test their MMS. DONT FORGET TO VISIT BBC WATCHDOG AND COMPLAIN USING THEIR ONLINE FORM ! POWER TO THE PEOPLE ;-)

@goolies

@jalu, Heaven forbid,your NOT starting to see little cracks in the great big shinny world of o2, maybe the Xmas do was`nt so hot, did they only give a free meal to those workers who topped there phone up by a min of £50.
Anyway HAPPY CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR,.......Yours o2 Hater.

@pachy

w00t are you on and is it readily available, per chance?

I work for O2. Please note, That is o2 not o2 online.

They are seperate companies to an extent and as such all o2 online enquiries wash over me and the same with your argument.

I just find it funny that suddenly its all a conspiracy against you.

Merry Christmas, cheers for all the laughs

I havn`t got a huge problem with o2,i just love arguing if you must know, by the way, o2 & o2 online are about as "seperate" as Orange/Vodaphone, or the link/dixons/PC world, now about your conspiracy worries, just let me handle that, i`ll stay up all night & at the crack of dawn when they come through the window to "get" me i"ll show them your brown nosed posts & try to pass myself off as your mate.

Jalu, sorry mate u aint got a clue as to what O2,s business agendas are in d coming years as no offence mate but you are just a csa in a call centre with a few set targets you have no idea what is being planned at senior level or what goes on there, I have spoken to people who have investigated lets say certain issues.yes O2 is seperate from O2 online but not that far apart so d theory of it being as different as orange and voda etc is b@ll@ks. My contract O2 SP can see my O2 online account.posted frm T68

When im online i will tell u more! Jalu mate your a good bloke and some of ya posts have helped a lot of people but you act as they r this sweet rosy company or they r paying u to surf around forums painting a rosy picture :-)

Posted by pachy
@Goolies, It was ME who said o2 & o2 Online was about as different as Orange & Voda, the reason i said that was a "sarcastic" remark mate because you need to be aware that Orange & Voda ARE THE SAME COMPANY (and have been for over a year) i thought most people knew that..........I think to be fair @ jalu is just trying to show that lots of o2 customers are in fact quite happy, allthough my experience is that when o2 do get a customer wound up (& i mean ALL o2 companies) they tend to give the impression they don`t care, MORE so than other companies, this kind of complacency harps back to the old BT Cellnet days, but it is slowly dying out as companies realise it can make for very bad press.

Pachy,

Sorry mate misinterpreted that,

The level of service O2 provide for online customers is well below standard and the fact that my complaint had to be passed to the Executive complaints team at O2 (not O2 online) and still could not be resolved without further delays is proof they are not well trained in the Technical side of things GPRS, MMS etc. Ok I am not asking for a technically challenging request here but asking them to activate a service they provide, sure any monkey at O2 can read out bills and explain them by viewing them on their PC even we can do that online but when it comes to resolving issues they are hopeless. I must admit the person handling my affair was quite helpfull but then she would be if the media is paying close attention, she admitted their are training issues and not everyone is aware of dealing with GPRS, MMS ! they should have addressed that issue before they offered us the service !

Anyway I got my MMS activated today and also got some free credits for my trouble and a direct contact should I have any further problems with O2 online but O2 (not online) will deal with them.

Now the MMS does not reach its destination !

I did not even need MMS but thats not the point there are people out there that do use it and I know they have had the same experience.

Look at what I had to do to get this sorted, but thats what you get with large organisations who have a large customer base, O2 online is really the worst of them all due to frustration of actually contacting someone unless you want to pay £££££££ and call them while they put you on hold cos they are CONFUSED and have to run around like headless chickens trying to get an answer for simple questions about their products and services.

Jalu mate I suggest you distance yourself from O2 online as O2 itself is not as bad and keep up the good work helping people out.

I will let you know of any developments in the next few days.

It's strange that you are making what do seem to be good arguments but don't posess the ability to read.

How odd.

I can read thank u Jalu ! Your posts are all about how rosy your company is and you defend them like its your company wats, i bet u have an apple for d manager everyday as well . In my next post i will tell you why 02 cannot get it right, Jalu my friend of what percentage of staff in ya wonderland r agency staff acording to you? Was jus kidin bout d apple bit ;-)

@Goolies, Don`t bother with that guy jalu his posts are EXACTLY the same level of non committal evasiveness as you get from his type when their at work, if they can`t help you they either say it`s your fault or claim it`s not their department. when people with few skills get a low paid job at a big company they take on a wierdly missplaced superiority complex because they feel important for once in their lives. in reality o2 giggle behind their backs because the boss`s know very well their there as a shit shield,.........
....................@ jalu, no offence.

Posted by jalu
@goolies

The call centre I work at is 70% contract, 30% agency.

@Tony Ericsson, don't know wtf you're on about.

I'm not o2 online. I can't help with o2 online as I haven't had the training and system accesses to get there.

If you wish to see that as me blaming you or someone else, thats just fine. However, I'm a f***ing good prepay advisor and yes, I do think o2 are a good company because I can see the people here actually trying to help.

I don't have an outside perspective like you so I don't see all these conspiracies you see. I don't see my bosses laugh behind their hands like your all seeing pupils do. I like o2 and I enjoy working for them as I like mobile phones and helping people.

Yes, I like o2. I have a personal o2 phone and in the same vein as looking what cars mechanics have, its a reasonable judge.

However I do acknowledge there are faults with o2 online. I've seen parts of it when I've attended the managers briefings and have never claimed that it is perfect. However its not intentional. The guys are working as hard as they can and I'm sure they are all glad they are doing it to help customers as much as they can.

But hey, if you'll give me your mobile number I'll happily cause a conspiracy against you, if you'd like

Jalu - not impressed

Hey Tony Ericsson, no offense, yeah?

Posted by Tony Ericsson
@jalu, i think it`s funny when you slag someone off, then say " No offence" i love doing that, but really Jalu i`m only avin a larf,
If you want my mobile number to conspire against me(you used that word first,which is a little ironic) then as its against the law to use information gained at your work to use for personal reasons, i should suggest you ring this number 02076348700 first.
Anyway mate i share your love of mobiles, i think we all do on here,i`ve been on a flight simulator just now, i`m planning to crash a lear jet into o2`s centrol London office, the plane will be sign written with the words "No offence intended".

@Tony Ericsson

Hm, I mentioned conspiracies first, huh?

"in reality o2 giggle behind their backs because the boss`s know very well their there as a shit shield"

Giggling behind our backs at you while we pretend to know nothing, is that not a conspiracy?

As regards the no offense thing that you love doing, well, enough said

PS. Our main offices are in Slough.

Oh yea, i had no idea where to find those offices, but now i know it`s slough, thanks partner in crime
ps, i tried the flight simulater & i`m shit at flying the big jets, so do you think if i used a small light aircraft???, i need to know which part of th building houses the complaints dep, as this will be the most densly populated part of th building.
