I) Changing in a compression system of JPEG for less compresion and better quality:
1.1) Changing of percent of compression, less compression - better quality
1.2) Two levels of compression
- SuperFine compression: 650-900kb.
- Fine compression: 450-580kb.
(!!Notice: Don't look at digital counter - he is always lying)
(!Notice: For hyman eye both levels of compression may be a similar.)
1.3) New buffer size, which don't conflict with HEAP-ram of phone and don't exit from the camera.
II) AutoFocus
2.1) A question wuth Infinity focus. It have different values on different phones. so, open the camdriver0.dat, find INFINITY_FOCUS = 00;
and change 00 to any other numbers, from 00 to 07. Choose the best value of infinity focus. For example, on my phone best value is 04.
2.2) Hints and tips about AF on K550/W610
Keep in mind, focus error maybe have if:
- You try to shoot at poorly envinroment.
- Object of shooting is fast-motion.
- Objects of shooting is no contrastive.
2.3) K550/W610 have a SPOT autofocus. Try to focusing on necessary objest to shooting, moved dot in AF frame with neccessary object of capture.
2.4) AF is useless on 2.5m-3meters and far. Choose the Infinity focus (also, if you've find better value of it for your phone)
III) New scenes:
3.1) Auto - for everyday situations.
3.2) Cloudy landscape - for shooting of landscape at cloudy weather.
3.3) Night Mode - for shooting at poorly envinroments. Longest shutter speed - 1/2 sec
3.4) Sunny Landscape - for shooting of landscape at very contrastive sunlights. DR Widening automatically on.
3.5) Anti-Shake - for shooting a fast-moving objects and disabling shaking. High ISO.
3.6) Text mode - for shooting documents.
3.7) Live Colors - mode with vivid colors.
IV) Dynamic-Range Widening
4.1) Use DR Widening at contrastive envinroments, for example at direct sunlights. It gives better colors.
4.2) Activating through Effects-DR Widening. DR Widening always uses at scene "Sunny Landscape"
V) Manual ISO
5.1) Low ISO values: High ISO settings:
-More light needed -Less light needed
-Less noise -Increased noise
-More image detail -Less image detail(especcialy from ISO320 and above)
-Longer shutter speed -Faster shutter speed
5.2) For changing ISO choose Effects-ISO
EV Equivalent ISO
+0.3EV = ISO 100
+0.7EV = ISO 160
+1.0EV = ISO 200
+1.3EV = ISO 250
+1.7EV = ISO 320
+2.0EV = ISO 400
VI) Auto color correction if LED is turned on
6.1) If you'll turned on the LED, the colors will correction for more reality colors, which have you seen by your eyes. There is no more ver blue images.
VII) Videorecord:
7.1) Normal mode - 25fps-26fps.
7.2) Night mode - 5fps-10fps
7.3) Smooth (but not in Night Mode) 4х digital zoom.

Info for those, who interested in ISO: phone can use values: 100,125,160,200,250,320,400,500,640,800,1000.
Values, higher than 250 is blur.

To tell the truth, is a little upset to hear such....
It's strange.... As i think, in beta better values for scenes, such as: Daylight Mode, Twilight Mode, Night Mode, and SVR.
Yeah, in SVR video sound lags behind video. I think this mistake because of 3GP codec can not save video with fps, more than 20. In 2.35 i shall put 20 FPS.
And, some info for all, who used my camdriver, (actually for version 2.34beta):
Daylight Mode: mode for light or middle-light streets. Short speed of a shutter that was less noise. If in this mode you see dark image on display, select to Twilight Mode, an if in Twilight Mode u see dark image, select Night Mode.
Daylight Mode is Portrait, Twilight Mode is Snow/Beach, and Night Mode is Night Portrait.

i think color saturation increase would be a great idea for your next driver if possible. see image comparison below, seems k550 is lacking in color saturation. in your next driver, manual ISO + manual shutter control would be awesome as well.
btw your driver is much, much better compared to standard k550 driver. congrats.
image comparison between k550 with your 2.34 driver and w810 with Raiderski 6.6 driver. k550 shots taken in twilight portrait mode (aka night mode) and w810 shots taken in night mode with no special adjustments. both shots with auto focus.
k550, shutter 1/10s, ISO 200, image size 838kb
w810, shutter 1/30s, ISO 160, image size 700kb
k550, shutter 1/6s, ISO 200, image size 593kb
w810, shutter 1/15s, ISO 160, image size 587kb

Shutter speed value is very widely, and because of it I do not know where it can be placed... Manual ISO in 2.35 is possible, i told u. 100, 125, 160, 200 and 250.

Very good job matey, can you post a sample video after using your camdriver? btw, the supermacro is incredible! it's like.no.other to any kind of AF phones sold in market
even N95 can't match supermacro but isn't "supermacro name" the trademark used by olympus and canon to describe their super close-up shots? i mean cybershot uses the powershot and olympus trademark? 
BTW. The only thing i hope that could improved further was the dynamic range mate, since this was now the only thing that segregates them to those 2mp kings: K750,W800,W900,P990 and W810

maybe you can create a supermode driver like w810? add ISO control to say +0.3EV and then use zoom keys 1.1=ISO100, 1.2=ISO160, 1.3=ISO200, etc. do the same with shutter speeds? add to say +0.7EV and then use zoom keys 1.1=1/5000s, 1.2=1/3200s, etc, etc. just some thoughts for you.

the k550 shots are surprisingly good with a modified cam driver. with original k550 cam driver i'm sure those shots would look like crap. i will take some more comparison shots. stay tuned.

The dynamic range advantage is really evident in W810 on the first batch, Second batch tell us what W810 has over K550. This was what the sensor size can really do, but i do really hope DR in K550 will be improved
