Best settings for video - Esato archive

Does anyone know what settings with Nero Recode (or even different programs) I should use to convert avi files to go on my phone? I'm using the Samsung D900. I'd like to put the simpsons epsiodes on my phone so I won't get bored at work lol.

Any help will be appreciated.
