Good to know the JavaOne phone exists by the way. I want a revival of UIQ, my friend at Nokia says that their touch UI is very functional and easy to use but admits that it looks like it was designed by Playskool. However, they have many devices lined up and ready for quick release; something
should take note of.
Mizzle's pic shows a perverted old man, cheating with a cyber babe (you can see his old wife in the bed). There is nothing positive about that picture unless Mizzle is a super genius and only one with supreme intellect can decipher his frustrating yet intriguing, little puzzle.

A basic requirement of an iPhone killer is a Capacitive Touchscreen therefore a Glass one.
if UIQ can't support larger resolutions then Windows Mobile is the only alternative.
I expect the qwerty to slide vertically because a horizontal slider will compete against X1.

But iPhone has 3.5" screen perfect for Web browsing and playing videos. Screen size is so important atleast for me. Sadly, no SE phone comes close to that. But let's see what Hikaro can offer.

If dpad is present and without physical softkeys Then it's just like Paris. But Pop Lovers implication could also mean a plain touchscreen at it's surface without any key at all.

may be. but if there are no softkeys, D-pad i.e. full touch means, whats the need of querty keyboard?? makes sense na?? it looks like iphone with vertical slider? i think wont look good. rather if it has horizontal slider means may be good.

I've never understood this debate. There's no point having stereo speakers 10cm apart, you can't tell they're stereo unless you're within 15cm of the phone which is what headphones are for. the same with 5.1 the idea is that 3 speakers are in front of you, ideally at eye level and 2 are behind and above which is hard to do in a box the size of a mobile phone. You can achieve something similar from a single source with the yamaha sound bar, but that has 70-odd speakers on it.
We'd be much better off with one high quality mono sound source from the phone and use external speakers if you want stereo, otherwise it's a gimmick that doesn't actually make any difference.

it's the opposite. Qwerty keyboard makes more sense here. If u ever tried typing on an iPhone then you'll understand what I mean.
vertical slider is for single handed usage. It's a shame for a super specd flagship phone If you can't even type the word "OK" with one hand.
If the screen is really full touch, i wish the d-pad comes along with the sliding qwerty.
