s302 is a low lowend phone. 176x220 is enough, else the price would be too high.

Dude, nobody knows.
If it's high-end and they're going to try to push the new software/hardware, then it's likely it is. But again, we won't know for a while, and plus, if it's Walkman, it's not even going to be announced.

in Eldar's review for K850i wich you can say brings the A200, he said thier will be refresh in 2H 2008 or late 2008 do't remember exactly...
nothing confirmed yet, and being A300 doesn't mean it will have capuchin as both are seperated things you know, but as we're expecting A200 update to come ( specialy with C905 ) and knowing that Capuchin will come too in the second half of this year, it's somehow logical to add Capuchin with A300 rather that spend that much of R&D on adding Capuchin to old A200...

Yeah there is really no reason not to have 2,4" screens on clamshells, there is plenty of space. Maybe the reason SE is always using smaller screens that would fit on the phones is because they want to have longer battery time?

Well one thing's for sure (or at least I'm pretty sure) that S302 doesn't use A200 platform, but rather the same one found in the Rseries phones.
Honestly, I'm not too sure if the F305 will be that successful. I hope the graphics are at least decent (not saying PSP level, but maybe GameBoy Advance?) I'm worried that's not the case.

come on, I know it's better to have larger screen, but you have to agree to that there's no such a phone called the ultimate phone wich had no drawbacks !!
I think 2.0 - 2.2 is the sweet spot for that phone looking at it's market target, having a larger screen will force
to target it at more costly phone, wich mean more close to high-end, and that's mean adding more features to and bangaaaa that walkman won't be a mid-end or high-mid-end phone !!

The Japs have 3 inch screens so 2.4 isnt really asking that much. Even the Moto Razr has a bigger screen. Its just that there is always so much room around the screen so it makes it look crap.

I don't think there are physical differences, or many, between A2 and A3. With A1 to A2, we got a third softkey, but with A2 to A3, the differences are mainly behind the scenes (internal WLAN, BT 2.1, etc). So I don't know if it's possible to tell if a phone is A2 or A3 just by looking.

I just learned something about the SO906i (something I hope it would be incorporated into new Sony Ericsson phones, perhaps new A300 platform). Because of the accelerometer in the SO906i [and many of you have seen that light demonstration video posted by Maximys], when you are in the web browser, to scroll pages, you can tilt the phone in that direction. This is especially useful when you are in landscape mode with no keypads. Pretty innovative to me! =P
