but anyway, my reason to feel bad today is my Mrs had her first ever accident and slightly scratched the front bumper of her Omega whilst half demolishing the rear of a Hyundai Amiga

they seem to only focus on the bad things that happened on that date so I'll not be too upset that I don't get a mention
whats amazing is that it was only a slight shunt at a roundabout when the Mrs thought the car in front had already gone. She said she hardly felt a thing (mind you I've heard that before!
)
anyway, she's really upset and needing lots of comforting... whats a guy to do?

my MR2 just blew its head gasket (well I'm pretty sure its that)
accelerated quite hard a then a big plume of white smoke out that back
fortuately I was only a mile from home so I'm sure no damage is done, but I won't know until I get it apart I guess

well fortunately I'm a member of the MR2 club and there's a fairly local guy who can do all this work for around £10-£15 an hour.
he reckons £250 will cover it normally, but while he's got it all apart I'll get him to replace any other bits that are looking worn
I can get a guaranteed 30,000 mile engine for £500 so that always a last alternative.
