I spent the whole month studying and butt kissing a lecturer for a PhD studentship. I was fantastic in the interview and was practically guaranteed the position (I was recomended by two academics) but he did not pick me.
I spoke to another lecturer and he told me that a foreign guy was picked just because he will be paying double the amount in fees. I would have been paid by the uni to study but it looks like the uni will be making a tidy profit.
What a piece of *hit. It's hard enough as it is but now they pick people depending on their wallet size? I like to think God has reserved me a good spot somewhere else, otherwise I would go insane thinking about it.

My GHD's have broken and i've just found out they where fake. Got them off a good seller on eBay or so i thought on 13th January this year. Plugged them in today and they are dead, changed the fuse, nothing.
Tried to register them on the website with no luck so rang them and was told there fake. Opened a dispute with paypal and my case isn't eligible and i have to contact the seller instead, like he is going to do anything.
I'm so annoyed with eBay and paypal, won't be buying anything like that off there again, now i'm going to have to live with frizzy hair. Not to mention my Grandad is in hospital again, GRR!

point is, in the worse case scenario, if you don't get it checked you might miss many seasons
don't mess with these things, just get 'em checked. chances are its all ok, but they need to be checked.
I've had a few lumps in various places in my time, including one down below, but they all turned out to be false alarms

can you not just walk into a medical centre in WA like you can in NSW?
we don't have a specific doctor, though often we do see the same one. We just go to the medical centre anytime of the day or night and we see someone right away. Its medicare too so nothing to pay

My bank card has gone walkies, was right by my computer on Wed night and now it's vanished, haven't moved it or been anywhere, so no money until next week, great.

i got my p990 stolen. i was on a public transportation and i was about to compose a sms for my gf. right there the guy got his hand inside and took my phone. my gf was negociating with him and i prolly get my phone back + some cash
