i love this phone.. so far the latest firmware has been very stable for me... not even 1 reboot and ive had the new firmware since the day it was released.. i love this phone... i never get sick of it..

I was just on the w910 firmware thread and they've been talking about a "new" r1fa035 that they received recently that is apparently a lot better than their older r1fa035 (check the last page or 2 of the tread). I wonder if we'll get the same thing, considering that they originally got r1fa035 a month or 2 before we got ours.

still waiting for my k850 or c902 to come back..

I guess until we can openly customize our firmwares, most will have given up on K850. I have. Im usin a W960 until I can install C902 cam drivers into my k850.

@buntoo ..At this time i dont think that we are off the forum its just that ,what else to say when every body in their own way have said it all I am sure every still read the threads, I particullaly read it almost every day ...for example that battery situation i have mentioned that as soon as i updated with this new firmware the identical problem with 100% after fully charge and two minutes after it goes to 98% and to 75% in about and hours time but the fact is the battery it self is giving me the days service which is required so i guess it really a bug to be fix with a next update .....and i am seeing that the w910 owners got a really nice treat from sony good work now k850 owners await ours as well .

ONE THING I CAN SAY FOR SURE IS THAT SONY ERICSSON IS BRINGING THE WORLD TOGETHER WITH THE MESS THEY MAKE WAY TO GO SONY WAY TO GO

I'm confused. I want to debrand my phone (as I understands, that will give me a phone firmware with unlocked features exactly similar to those sold seperately, right?). From what I read, I need a "Customized" firmware for this.

Looking at DavinciTeam I see 4 different firmwares of the latest version with a danish interface:

W910i R1FA035 CID52 CUSTOMIZED NG1/ BLACK NORDIC
W910i R1FA035 CID52 CUSTOMIZED NORDIC 1/HEARTYRED NORDIC
W910i R1FA035 CID52 CUSTOMIZED NORDIC 1/NOBLEBLACK NORDIC
W910i R1FA035 CID52 CUSTOMIZED NORDIC 2/HEARTYRED NORDIC

Which one do I need? (Edit: More specifically, what are the difference between them?) Also, why are the firmware different for the color???

It seems I need to buy it for €10. I guess this just includes this firmware and no updates?

I broded for the 2nd time a few hours ago, i flashed via SEUS and now everything is fine!!
My firmware was 035.
I guess only who have previously broded owns the right update software.

I upgraded my phone with "NORDIC 2". It seem to work fine, although it seems that the setting for Alarm Volume is not there anymore - Why is that removed?

I noted, that there were different dates for R1FA035 just with different CDA's. Why is that?

Is the Alarm Volume setting unavailable in all versions of this firmware?

Posted by aremaboy
Different date on the very same R1FA035?

I never had those "Alarm Volume" settings in any of the previous firmwares --CA037,--EA031-37 and still in the current firmy Alarm Menu is still the same no change at all.

Are you talking about Alarm Signal?

Seeing that the dates in firmware is now different other the alarm isuue is there any significant addition or change to anything else because i see w910 owners are enjoying themselves with this same firmware, now so could you shed a little more light on other improvments if any any ....thanks in advance

guys! I've had a massive breakthrough!
We can all relate our k850's to alpha romeo. a love hate relationship. It does everything right, but everything wrong
WOOT WOOT!

tut i really do not like the 035 version i have. It freezes/hangs my phone when i am using the internal browser and when dialing a number it takes a few seconds for the number to dial. and accessing my inbox and sms seems to be slow too. Wish I stuck to the previous software. anyone else having this problem? I think i might make an insurance claim and go for the c902 is that a good choice for me to go for after k850i?

they gave me the option to change to the c902 and dump my old k850.
after i had my hand on the c902 i really disliked it, and ill just have to stick with this beautiful but lame ass phone till the c905

Hi guys my phone is showing a R1EA031 firmware but when trying the service update the utility states there are no updates.....

Just spoke to s.e today about my phone. They said to send it in for repair. Problems i explained to them as follows:

Handset switches off without me knowing not all the time but atleast once a week
handset restarts on me now and again
handset freezes using the internal browser

they said yeah does seem like you are having lots of problems, so they asked me to send it in for them to look at it and fix the handset.

so sending my handset in on monday and will use my n73 while its away

lent my K850 (R1FA035 fw) to a friend of mine when I was going on holidays a week ago - she called me on Thursday and asked what to do as the phone turned off and doesn't want to turn on at all - told her to wait until I come back and show me the phone then - ASAP I'll see what happened to my K850, but I think it's BROD... :|

Posted by aremaboy
No need to worry about BROD anymore.
If your phone's CDA is correct and under 'SEUS Coverage', SEUS will reinstall the firmware for free and fix BROD in just less than an hour in a broadband connection.

Thank you!

CDA 12345678/123

wrong customization
you need to reflash with KK and put correct CDA in xxxx-xxxx format

Posted by aremaboy
Exactly. SEUS only flashes phone with correct CDA.

Posted by maaz2020
I sent my 850 to the service center for BROD repair and the fixed it but changed my region and ****** my CDA with the wrong format 123456 shit ,wat should i do send it back?

Posted by aremaboy
Those 3rd party flashers mostly don't care about CDA or regions. They just upload Main Firmware and FS and that's it.
They might be 'angry' if we want them to do what we want. They might not understand what CDA is for. Or even their flashing tool doesn't support it.

Just do it yourself via www.davinciteam.com or www.kulankendi.com .

Posted by croatia
Sorry is my Customization ok for Seus update?even if Brod?
i have'nt Brod currently just need a info.

1201-0116 R11A

My firmware:

EROM: 1200-4341
SEMCBOOT R6A008

Tnx !

@croatia
Your CDA is in the correct format. But I don't know whether SEUS has an update for you. You should run SEUS to check yourself. If it has the 'Continue Anyway' option, your CDA is SEUS-friendly.
