Found a bug. Opera Mini 4.1 time to time loses connection. Internet settings just switch off. Let's say i was checking this forum..Then exit application by force..after 5 mins started it again and no internet. Happen twice tho...

Actually one other member got theirs repaired by sony and thats the cda they got it back with, it is just a generic cda, from the response I got from davinci there shouldnt be an issue at all with SEUS.

I believe that your CDA will never get any update from SEUS as it is the incorrect one.
The correct formula for K850 and other A200 phones should be xxxx-xxxx. For example 1201-8437 for Indonesia APAC-ANZ or 1202-5694 for UK Western-Euro.
The CDA like 12345678/123 is only for A100 phones.
I recommend you buy credits from Davinci Team or Kulan Kendi to change your CDA.

It seems that all regions are available already according to above poster.
It's just SE policy---for unknown reason---that some, like APAC-ANZ and HONGKONG aren't uploaded to SEUS yet. Perhaps, to avoid server jam or overload as thousand people all over the world will use SEUS to update the phones.

When i bought my k850, it had the china firmware on it. I used davinci to flash it to western europe and i noticed the font in java is smaller and smoother. Gmail/google mail's java app works 100 % now. Before, all of the emails where shown as read. None of the new emails where in bold. Google maps is clearer, and the internet just moves quicker.
I guess the china firmware mine had just had the fonts different in java but i used to have to wait 5-10 seconds to load a page with the default browser or even in google maps. With the western europe firmware, it just takes a second. I just thought it was t-mobile usa's crappy edge network. The actual speed of the internet remains unchanged. (120kbps usually). I have a bad feeling that it will eventually slow down like the china firmware was like. Although, i hope not!

OK, this may be nothing but I am with O2-UK and as you know we are still on R1EA031. I just tried FOTA and it didn't say you have the latest software, it just went off...does this mean something could be happening?...
EDIT: I just tried SEUS and it says I have the latest firmware. It also gives me the 'continue anyway' option...

Ok I had a K850i that was branded to o2. but was fed up of waiting for them to upgrade the firmware and at present i dont know if they have approved it?
So Ive debranded it using Davinci last week using CUSTOMIZED UK/ GREEN WESTERN-EUROPE
Now i have been having a few tech probs with the phone, not with Davinci them selves but when ive installed the customised firmware on to the phone I lost that little g and e above my single bar. I have to say that Davinci have been fantastic in help, support etc. Lots of people advised me to switch it on, however there is nowhere on the phone to do so.
So i rebranded back to o2. R1EA031
Any i then recently downloaded again the new R1FA firmware just now and got the same fault, not g or e. CUSTOMIZED UK/ GREEN WESTERN-EUROPE
However as i had some more credits so this time i dowloaded this one
UNITED KINGDOM/LUMINOUS GREEN WESTERN-EUROPE
Not only is my little g and e back, The phone is really brand free even no GPRS settings at all.
Ive even connected it to SEUS and it says that the phone has the latest firmware but can continue as well. So this means i can update too.
So im not only happy but well chuffed.
I will let you know the findings tomorrow as im quite a medium to heavy user.

one thing i do notice is that the flash charges up almost instantaneously now. you can see the flash charge icon when u turn the camera on, but dont see it anymore after each consecutive shot.
contacts list is definitely faster
scrolling through music and pictures is faster
for some reason, i got 1 MB more on the phone memory after the flash, on 031 i had 28 MB...after the flash i got 29 MB O.O
as everyone else said, i hope this is BROD-free. overall, im content with this fw, i hope there will be more improvements in the future though... esp a camera with less noise.

I don't really see it as a bug though, but a way to speed up start ups. And becoz i always save my themes on the phone memory.

- My problems are solve with the Media background bug.
- As of the Video sync, still not good enough but at least you can see that the video speeds up to catch up with the sound.
- Speed is ok, it did improved in speed, especially the media browser.
- JAVA games are wow! The marble really moves to my command.
- Multitasking is better. I always do text messages while playing mp3 so this ones good.
- There are still two things I have to test, and I will see it later: battery performance and occurrence of restarts,
By the way, I went from R1EA037 to R1FA035, and clean-installed/reflashed once via SE center from R1CA037 to R1EA031.

ISO400 should only be used in low light situations where flash is not feasible. Using it under normal conditions would only make the picture look washed out. It's the same for all digital cameras.

by the way something with the camera is really amazing some are saying pics are bad some saying pics are good, my personal opinion is that there is definitely a difference with the night shots its alot better, the flash has alot more control on objects avoiding flash burns
