O2 has never approved R1EA037 and im wondering if they are going to approve this one.
Whe you use SEUS it says that i currently have the latest software but i can continure any way.
So all that does it download again R1EA031.
Normaly when SE are replacing the firmware, it says No update ava. but no continue button

Yeah. they probably have him sign some NDA before. If someone notices his ID was used on some strange IP address, his punishment could range from getting fired to getting sued for breach of contract. BTW, is he working on the K850 firmware? Any word on a new camera driver?

But my current firmware is R1EA031...
I want to use da vinci to flash it with a generic firmware that SEUS update to the new firmware...
But there are many versions at da vinci's page...

if you flash it then update, if it updates, SEUS it will update you with the region the phone is set, that happened to me
has someone updated their APAC ANZ yet? are we not going to get the update

Nothing for apac-anz yet, though I'm not getting the option to update anyways, which from what other people are saying means they're in the process of uploading the new firmware. So we should hopefully see it soon. It's good to hear the phone is for the most part quicker, I haven't had any of the bugs I've been hearing about, my only issue is constantly cleaning the lens cover. Love the phone otherwise.

Yep, I'm not being sarcastic at all, that's about it. The reason why they have different variants is for the language pack, and cultural add-ons.
The CHINA_SO comes with the Chinese language (simplified) - it's useless to me since I can only read traditional. And I don't want to pay DaVinci to flash it either. Maybe later...
One more thing though, about the cultural add-ons, is that the CHINA version includes a "lunar calendar" when you set it to the Chinese language. Pretty useful and contains all the "special" days pertaining to this calendar.

yes, you understood right, but only the FW mine did but kept the language pack for R1E... dont worry to much there is no difference I used both is the same software, after all is called generic
it kept the america language pack for me but dont trust me to much on this one

The CHINA firmware does not have the spanish language. For me is a great difference.

hi all have a little problem and i hope someone can answer, I flashed my phone genetic western euro but forgot to change the cda which i think is central euro (1201-0116) the thing is a few days ago i went to see if it would still update and it said continue anyway so i was just wondering if i clicked continue would it brick my phone or would it flash it to cent euro

Just had a BROD on Wednesday, just as the new firmware makes its appearance.
Off to Vodafone repairs, and they have reported the problem as follows:-
A fully qualified technician diagnosed the fault on your phone - it was caused by corrupt/faulty software. To correct this problem, a software upgrade was carried out on your phone. As this corruption can be imported via ring tone or other downloads, SMS/MMS and other internet use it may not have been possible to save your stored data and settings because the software upgrade would override them.
As I'm on Vodafone I hope the upgraded software is the new software!
If so, it means Vodafone UK are near to approving it for release.
Will let you know when it arrives back.

C902 doesn't have a ring around the camera, but a line across the back of the phone (look for a picture of C902's back cover), therefore the name BLOD (Blue Line Of Death). It's the same FW bug as K850i's BROD, adapted to the physical appearance of the C902.
No HONG-KONG FW version out yet, still the same message on SEUS ("Update not available - Return to start").

No news for HONG-KONG either... I am already tired of turning off, removing the battery, inserting the battery, pressing C, connecting cable, releasing C, getting angry at "No update available" message, starting the phone again.
An this goes on several times a day, because the stupid SEUS can't check for a new FW version without the phone being connected.
