Updating now on ADRIATIC (but SEUS showed me WESTERN EUROPE), f/w download in less than 20 sec, updated on phone in less than 2 min. Strange, seems this firmy is a small one.

I have the HONG-KONG version on my phone (R1DA038), and today SEUS showed "Your phone is up to date - Back to start" instead of offering the R1EA037 as it did yesterday. So I'm guessing that the update for HK region is on the way too.
I will perform this update even though I'm not sure it's BROD-free, because I'm unhappy with the phone's battery life and the horrific pink-instead-of-red color in the pictures. Other than these two problems, my phone worked fine over the 2 and a half months since I bought it.

- UI seems a lot faster (at least on bootup it takes max 10-15 sec); in menus speed is increased

Yes, mine is still vibrating from the begining (R1CA029).
Sound is very well increased. Is louder and clear.

I think is related to CDA, because SEUS showed me available update for WESTERN EUROPE (for R1F now and for R1EA037 in april), when I had ADRIATIC R1EA031. But the software installed is ADRIATIC all day.

No BROD, no crashes, no random reboots, no reboots when playing song in media and quit by presing reject call key.
About BROD, let's wait a few days, maybe a week or 2. Then, if no BROD happens, we can tell that R1F is BROD free.

Updated the firmware to R1F, but there is no big difference. Red colors in photos turn out to be pink. No new features whatsoever.
The phone is still slow, while opening something in the mediaplayer seems to be even slower! There is some sort of "blank" screen before you can start listening to your music. Its not loaded rightaway.
I seriously doubt my next phone will be a SE. Seven months after release they still didnt fix the main problems with the phone.
Luckily I've got no BROD problems...

Dont forget that some people had the old 037 FW before upgrading to R1F and others the 031 or the new 037 so that's why some people feel it's slower and others faster!

Yep...R1FA is hardly faster than R1EA037..
Picture's aren't any better than R1EA037 because it's the same camdriver.
So..in the end this firmware brings BROD fix for me only...(i hope).
If it doesn't, this fw changes nothing at all. (maybe some minor minor bug fixes)

random reboots hasn't really bothered me..it happens maybe 1-2 per month for me..
Even my k750i on latest firmware had random reboots (though very rarely)

cuz i think BROD was a corrupted firmware prob ie old firmware files were not deleted . It is the only one in the platform dat has BROD ,but u guys ignored my posts way back ......

Yea, that's what I still get - and it's def not me blocking the sensor with my finger! Had absolutely no problem like this with K800. Haven't loaded the lastest FW yet as O2 haven't got it yet, but really hoping it fixes it.

oh no!, if at new FM I will take the random boots, I will substitute my K850i to other A200 SE, or S60 Nokia, because random boots it my first problem, I haven't took a BROD from November 2007, but I always take a random boots.
