What about the media player landscape background bug. If you have theme that customizes the media player, does the background disappear when you put it in landscape mode?

updated successfully aswell although i cant notice much difference maybe a slight improvement to phone start up speed,maybe its just the last firmware but only brod free,actually the media player seems quite fast compared 2 wat it used to be

I'm in the US, but have China FW. Not on SEUS for me either. Does anyone know if there really is any big difference between the China FW and the American FW? I really want the American FW, but if it's essentially the same as the China FW, then I'm not going to spend $80 on DaVinci to flash it. The main reason why I want to flash it is so I can remove the "PlayNow" icon. I hate that.

When I select landscape, the background changed immediately. So I am still on the screen that has the options for auto rotate, portrait and landscape, but the background changes from the one from my theme to the normal black one. Not the background for the main menu. Just the background at the exact time as when you press ok on landscape. lol well I hope that makes sense, if not then nvm thanks for trying anyway.
Does anybody else have this bug btw?

I'm all done now, and i've just checked my firmware version and it reads GENERIC_SO R1FA035. I don't quite know what the SO means, but hey, it seemed faster to startup, we'll see how it goes.
EDIT: landscape media background bug is gone too, and update media is in settings too.

Yeah, I bet we (O2-UK) will still have to wait another week. O2 don't brand the firmwares much, but apparently they carry out a lot of tests to ensure its stable. R1EA037 was never released on O2-UK...We, well I, still have R1EA031.

There isn't anything amazingly fantastic added (Face detection, new menu styles ect ect ect), but everything does seem to flow better, video actually plays back in sych with sound which is great too.

I actual debranded my o2 phone and put the R1EA037 firmware on the phone.
The thing that i lost was the G or E (Couldnt get it to show them unless i connected to the interrnet)
And regardless of if i was in HSDPA or 3G. The phone would only ever display 3G, It would never ever show H.
So i switched back to R1EA031.
So I am happy that they do take a little while to update.
But please dont be long,

1. Video playback sync must be ok
2. Media player background bug must be gone
3. Faster UI than before
4. Color rendition of the camera must be better
5. Flash over-burn/underexposure must be gone
6. No more reboots
