guys i thinkg if what we are seeing and hearing is correct SONY might have a surprise for us i dont want to believe thar R1F is just another firmware patch or fix i feel they were holding back to give us a big shock why should davinci have a software that sony know going to load it not making sense after we know they like to keep every thing a secret so we might just hope see a big change on the server say update to R3.........hope this not wishfull thinking

And how come davinci correct many bugs in the firmware just like SE ...and we find that both seus and davinci have same set of bugs and new bugs ?

If not how come they get access to all going to get released version firmware?
Shouldnt se stop them?

Stu, there may be something wrong with your USB chipdrivers (of your laptop) if you have a CD with the drivers, i suggest you do a reinstall or download the latest drivers for your laptop.
Also, you'll have to remove the k850 drivers and do a fresh reinstall of it,

SEUS is getting on my nerves, we want our new fw NOW!
I am having no problems with any other USB devices in my computer, so I am not sure that is the problem!
I was going to try installing it in Safe Mode, however, Safe Mode doesn't seem to support USB.

They will add new things in the so called "old" phone coz they don want to lose any more loyal fans (not customers like other cell cos),
How do u think they will make the existing K850 owners switch to C905 if they can't fix probs on an existing phone based on the same platform....Q4 is a long way guys....
and its the last K series High End phone ...so sad ,so atleast give is a fitting farewell,by at least solving the existing probs like BROD and add some goodies....

SE does lose if the 850 owners get together and file a law suit against it,
A cell co or any other companies job doesn get over after selling a product ,its just the first step ,it should provide a very strong after sales support and a co which is just at the nascent stage of growing should never ignore its customers or it will take only 2 or 3yrs for it to shut shop...

I will solve my problem by purchasing another brand. Fooled me once, shame on you (SE). But it won't happen again, that's for sure, otherwise they will learn that this is a good marketing strategy. Should they replace my K850i with a brand new C90x because I served as a lab rat for their FW test, then I'll go for that.

Then you haven't seen the Nokia S60 phones. A bunch of them recently got Flash Lite 3 (ie viewing flash videos like Youtube directly in the browser), Demand Paging, changes to the mediaplayer.

Too many problems for one device! The ocassional restars I have with 031, were really infuriating. till BROD...
The R1F thing, is unveliebable, most people have a firmware with potential BROD, and sony takes soooo long?
I donīt need R1F, I have to flash through davinci, but came on sony, people donīt like to have a potential BROD in his pocket!

Dude, as much as I would like to think this would be true it isn't. Why would SE want to implement new features into an old phone, when most of those new feature are the selling point of the c902. Whats the point of buying a more expensive when you could buy a cheaper phone with exactly the same content...

I always have these stupid problems..like explorer says there's no files on in my CAM folder, yet myphoneexplorer does..

Hi all. I had my 1st BROD with R1EA037 so I cannot complain
Thanks to davinci I gave life to my lovely "brick" and with SEUS I updated again to R1EA037. The strange thing is that now I cannot see anymore the "3G only" option in "GSM/3G networks" menu. If I'm not wrong this option appeared with the R1EA037 FW but now it seems it's gone...
Have anyone see this change??
