Guys.. there will be no R3 firmy or other firmy name with those new features like C902 has. I asked SE last week, and they say'd that the K850 with an update/reflash of the firmy, will never have other features from other phones. That's sad..

I just ran FPC Bench on my phone While listening to mp3 over A2DP headphones - the score is 396 seconds for the 2mb threaded test vs 160 seconds for the test with nothing else running. THere is definetly a slow down of the phone when listening to music to begin with , adding BT to the equation slows it down further, but I'd like to say that usability has improved vs R1CA037 (the last FW I used before R1F). There's only so much we can expect from these phones - the UI itself has been optimized so much to even allow multitasking so I honestly can't complain.

Dude, most of those points are crap (not true)
-Touch buttons round the edge of screen
-I can't see any gaming buttons in the photos + the k800's buttons were never used for gaming

-C902 doesn't even have xenon flash, it has photoflash which are just some leds, also the flash on the k800 looks alot more like the k850's, the c902's is more of a circle shape:
I don't think it is fair to be bigging up the c902 when really the pictures it takes are no better than the k850's, if not worse...

No, I believe him but he didn't say when it would come out because he didn't know. He doesn't talk much on Esato now because a lot of people keep turning on him when they are angry that a new firmware hasn't come out. I just want to ask him if he could tell us anything he knows about the R1F or any news on R3 or R7 firmwares...

If face detection isn't hardware dependant then people will find a way to get it unofficially using XS++...I was also thinking that SE won't give the K850 everything the C902 has, because then it would make people less likely to get the C902.

C902 and K850i - it is not K750i and W800, where Fm can be changed from k750i <> to <> w800i.
K850i - it old model, C902 - new model, and SE want to sell new model. K850i the past and Phone XS++ is not a magician it only a flasher...

It is highly unlikely SE would add anything 'value adds' to a product. There is no incentive in this type of market where phone don't last all that long and new ones come out all the time.
It would make consumers happier but I doubt they see it that way.
Also, I finally got sick of all the dust under my lense cover last night! I ran my finger nail under the edge of the clear plastic, carefully going right around the edge. It is just stuck on with some double-sided tape! I had no hope of getting all the dirt off the tape without getting rid of it and not being able to stick the cover back on. So i just cleaned the clear cover and put it back. Seems to be staying in place ok.
I then took some (flash) pics and was quite happy with the result. That was until I turned the phone around to do a self portrait and the got major flash burn. Could be my light sensor is dirty again but it was cleaned recently... it is way too easy to get it dirty.

I'm not sure if this was true bug, more like a nuisance to me anyways - when in Media player and the phone is horizontal, the media is auto rotated to match the direction. But when waking up the phone from the off screen it would default to the vertical view and then rotate - that is in R1CA037. This does not seem to be a problem in R1F - the phone remembers in which orientation it was left before it faded off the screen (like when you're listening to music)
