My phone is a unbranded W910i running R1CA039 (not a K850i, I know)
Can anyone post a pic of what the 'H' icon looks like?

It exactly the same style as the 3G icon except its a 'H' instead. I think its a different colour aswell but can't remember. I've only had it twice on mine, in Norwich and I think the second time was in Manchester. I can't get it at home in Sheffield.

If the connectivity is set to only GSM, it wont say you the G.

If it even was in Manchester then it will have been the City Centre. I'm trying to think where I've been since I had the K850. It may have been Bolton, not Manchester, but I just can't remember!!

Oh, actually, I do remember now, it wasn't Manchester at all, it was Bradford, in the College. I was trying to think of places I'd been for the football (as thats the only time I ever travel the country!!) but it was actually when I was out with work. Norwich & Bradford are the 2 places I've had HSDPA.

@Tervel

That '3G' icon is the same one that we get here in the UK, but is it that which changed to 'H' when in a HSDPA area?

o nvm, the data communication was set to CS only (gps i assume).
But now i wonder, whats the point of setting it to PS & CS (gprs & gps)?
I never noticed any difference and when i connect to the internet all works fine.
edit:
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=146065
i'll just leave it to CS only then

Maybe, mines unbranded & unlocked but why would T-Mobiles branding stop you getting HSDPA? I would have thought it would be the other way round

I was wondering what the maximum size memory card k850 can take, and I heard the values are different for the m2 and MicroSD.

My Friend even got an 8gb memory card in his, but on the SE website it states the maximum is 4GB. Is this for MicroSD or the M2>?

Sorry, that was for the w910i, but I've heard that it was only a few bug fixes for them. I'd assume it'd be the same for the k850i.

we've been waiting for this firmware for weeks. I dont think it took them so long to fix some bugs.
Atleast, i hope so for them or my next phone will be a nokia
Also, SE's site notes "optimal performance"

So this R1DA039 is brand new for K850i, but W910 got the same name, but out till 16/17th? Im i right?

R1DA039 is the same as R1DA038 (But with more specific network branding)

The only difference is R1DA039 is for the network three (3) who is owned by Hutchinson.

There is still a new version to come out shortly.

How long it can takes ? at first they said it will be in january then they said it will be January/february ... next stop is February/march ? They will really lose a lot of people who "loved" SE. I've never seen an 'E' on mine, or a 'G'.

Where in the UK can you get Edge? And is it only available on certain network providers?
