WiMAX-phones in 2008. Nokia, Motorola and Qisda (was BenQ) plan to begin release of devices with support of technology WiMAX in 2008. The first should become representatives Motorola which has planned release of the device with support CDMA and WiMAX on first half of next year. Nokia is going to let out at the same time approximately the Internet-focused the device with support WiMAX. Qisda are measured to make phone with support EDGE and WiMAX already by the end of 2008. Presumably, it will be the improved version BenQ E72.

Nokia n78 will be slightly low priced and there wil be more imporvements
in usuability,for now people get bored of looking at n73 design for long time
so they are releasing it
and to notice that nokia has made
5mp autofocus,flash,gps,wifi as their trademark of their high end phones
they are sqeezing in these features into every high end phone.

I wil never get a 5mp phone for sure until unles a 10 mp phones become comon . .A 3.2 mp is as fine as anything. .And wifi is very important so gud tht they are making it trademark . .Btw n73 is my fav phone and 1 of the best of nokia . .Lets c what n78 is like . .

Sorry but you are wrong that is not a Nokia device it was just a proof of concept by S60 to show the Touch UI.
We have yet to see what the S60 Touch UI devices will look like from Nokia, the only thing we know is that there will be devices not just one and that one of them will also have a full QWERTY keyboard.
Also where have you got the information they will launch Q2/Q3 as all that was said was 2008 personally i think Q2 is likely but we may get lucky and see them mid to late Q1 and i am not saying that is fact just MO.

Personally i believe it will be mid to end Q2 at the latest as they also announced they would be first to market with Flash Lite 3.0 which means they must of done a deal with Adobe to have it exclusive to say this. I really can't see Adobe having given this for a long period unless to run Flash lite 3.0 it requires one of the new OMAP3 chips or similiar.
They did say they would be launching devices and one will have a full QWERTY so i would imagine that is a business device, i would say another will be a Multimedia device and likely to have little or no buttons and most probably most resemble an iPhone. I have no idea what the third or other devices will be but really it can't be that long till we get announcements if they are going to launch first half of next year. Looks like next year could be very interesting as so far there are still very devices launched with 7.2mbps HSDPA which will be available from next year this and the faster processors in OMAP's case between 600mhz -1ghz add to that the increased Graphics capabilities and Media and the Internet will be faster than most peoples homes.

That Touch S60 is a complete iphone rip off, from body design, menu interface to the color of the plastic on the front. Nokia doesnt need that, they can come up with better solutions on their own. shame on nokia.
