i think it was due to the fact that u increase the clarity of the acoustic
if im not wrong
its somethin like the old cassette versus the cd format
the cd no hissin sound
but the cassette had a faint hissin sound
i think it was due to the
cassette havin better sound quality compared to the cd
its warmer n richer
while the cd is not
it goes somethin like that

I think xaero, asah and me have based phf on k800. farfields some on k800 and some on w880, and now on W850.
My pc is just a mess with all this files ^^

I have changed bass freq compensation, and I think some resistor values, to be louder.
So there MUST be something on one of this changes... or both combined.
You know something really pain in the ass is that there are so many possibility of diff combinations... that drives you mad!
Sometimes I just change one value... and it changes nothing.. than I change something else also.. and then it changes everything

The loudness of the earpiece is very good. I think u shouldn't mess with that. Everyone likes loud music (and those that don't, should lower it). Ok maybe the ultramegabass wasn't a good idea. (i thought it would be like the k750i megabass, with r1ca021 or whatever was before the shity r1db002). Also i imagined that someone would create an acoustic pack, where manual EQ
usage is improoved, adding 2 bars rather than 1 (so u'd have full bass at half of column, and if u need, u can add more - and full bass column = 200% bass. And this applyes to other columns too)
but i dont think thats possible. I'm not a modder, so i dont know what i'm talking about
(i only imagine)

just picked up my new k800i a few weeks ago to replace my old s700.
I installed the v1.1 a few days ago & am pretty happy with the output, its so nice having the alarm actually wake me up in particular
I picked up a nice set of nokia bh-604 bluetooth headphones the other day as I can't stand having anything in my ears apart from my fingers
I was just wondering if the volume can be increased to them
can I beta test the v2 too please?
btw I'm half deaf so theres no way I can tell if the chans are swapped around. hehe

Wow, the call quality of 1.1 is very loud. Especially if you set the volume to max. It feels like as if you've activated the loud speaker.
Loved the others though. Just the call quality. Where can I get the original handset 0_call file? (K810 R6BC)

why would you want the original handset 0_call sound? can't you just lower the call volume a few levels? this way when you need the extra loudness, it will be there.

I can't hear that hiss... but I found some strange background noise.. you can only hear when you set the volume to the lowest possible. Its like "crack crack"...
Have to test original.
Oh, and about the hiss you hear. That is present on original acoustics too! I think that low hiss before music is played I can't remove... its hardware fault!

I have disasembled my K800 to clean joystick... and took a look on the backspeaker...
Its has 1cm of diameter! Its so damm small.. i couldn't really beliave that such a tiny thing coudl deliver that sound it does.
So music on backspeaker ain't gonna be louder. And if its cracking, its not acoustics, its hardware problem.

I tried different drivers today - from w880 original zapf to Peter v1 to Peter v1.1. I tested backspeaker and SE earphones that came with K800. What I like about w880 is the loudness on backspeaker (absolutely hate the treble!). Ur v1 has less treble (very good), but less loudness. Ur v1.1 seemed to be not so loud as v1, but overall, very good. What I like in acoustics are loudness (eg w880 orignal zapf, but with minimal distortion) on backspeaker and overall clarity. I think ur clarity is ok, maybe more loudness on backspeaker, and maybe a little more bass on headphones. I hope this isn't a tall order. Then lastly, do you mind telling me which plug-in you use with far manager as I would like to use far from now on. Thx bro, let the search continue! (My cid is 52 and i have k810 firmware on k800.)

Listen guys! Ignore my last post please. Reason: I actually learned how to use
FarManager/Sepf and now I finally have the correct files in my phone. Before there was 47 files in acoustic folder and 2 files in my camera folder and there's only supposed to be 44 in acoustic (Peter v1.1). Now I can finally see what freakin' files I have in my phone!!! (I guess I had some hybrid driver as a result of using SETool the whole time!)
@Aliciatits - Something tells me you know something that I don't!!! Guess I'll have to wait then.

It's weird, but the bass only increase when I compensate 44Khz frequency...
Maybe, just maybe, it works backwards... I mean, by compensating 44Khz [wich is high freq, and should be treble] you actually change the oposite freq range...
but I really don't get those freq... human hearing treshold is from 20Hz to 20Khz... but our brain can feel freq beyond that.

All I can say is WOW... The stock earphones(hpm70) sound alone is simply amazing. I can't believe it but they are sounding better than my high end home system !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You also did me a wonderful service by making the headset and speakerphone volume so much louder also when others said that it couldn't be done. That it was a hardware issue..

I guess its because these are for a k800.. which is a non slider. Somewhere I was reading that somebody made some kind of hack for this. If I find it and it works I will post the results here !!

Regarding to the bug you mentioned, you may have deleted the files with the "closed" word...
Try to restore the original acoustics and see if the bug remains!
Than reupload my acoustics again... but don't delete those "closed" files
You may also try to use that "cepëra" farfield_play
[copy and rename the copy to farfield_closed_play.zapf and up both]
