you may be able to help me.....
I am on o2 UK and bought a nokia 7650...the reason i bought this phone was because i could use them REAL web and instant messenger. At first this was fine and it all worked. However, i then acitvated MMS....and it then disabled my instant messenger and html web access.
The reasin for this is beacuse to use instant messenger and html web i need to use a different acess point from wap and email. I need to use mobile.o2.co.uk.
Once MMS hasd been activated it then disables use to that acces point.
So basically i can no longer use MSN (IM+) and webviewer.
I am now thinking of getting an unlocked SPV. but i need to know if the use of MSN and I.E. on an SPV requires a different access point or can it use the standard wap access point?
I would really appreciate help on this.
Thanks very Much.
Mark
(if anyone had o2 MMS working then please send me messages! +447740334897

I know its o2. What i need to know is if i get in spv does instant messenger and internet explorer work through the standard wap access point or does it need a different one. For example on o2 if it needs mobile.o2.co.uk then thats not good as i wont be able to use mms. Does anyone understand my problem?
