Hi guy

This is my first time to upload my k850 picture here. hope you all enjoy it.

amazing pics,
but quality sucks, maybe you're not altering settings or you're probably using original camdriver.

Hi there! This is the first time I'm posting in this forum, and I'm going to post some pictures. I've got this phone since january, and I'm really impressed with the camera's quality.

Using official firmware:

[due some problems uploading the pictures, I've attached a gallery link. Later on I'll upload the resized pictures]

Hi everyone, this is my first time here, and let me tell you those are amazing pictures, so beautiful and full of color, i've been using K850i for 2 weeks already and is great, but i'm having problems with indoors pics, they are like over exposed, and every time i used the flash is the same result, what is my problem? i have tried lots of setting but i keep getting the same results, Here some pics...
Outdoors without Flash

Indoors with flash at 2 Meters distance

Outdoors no flash

And this is what i'm trying to resolve.... Indoors with flash 1/2 Meters from objective, using flash

Thanks in advance, once you help me i'll be posting more pictures.

@munkeyboy

Welcome to the amazing world of K850i. You got overexposed pic, no problem. Just clean the light sensor located below flash and besides LED. Yeah, that tiny hole. Clean it with tooth-pick. This will help you.

Posted by munkyboy
Ok, i'll try, thanks for the tip, i'll post the results...

UPDATE:

wooow, something so simple Great thanks for the tip, was very useful, Here some images..

@munkyboy

Me too.

Fantastic snaps!

I put a new housing on my K850 and all of a sudden I've fallen in love with the phone again (although the flash unit has burnt out).

How would I get a new cam driver onto it?

There are many pics from my loved K850 at my sites, check them out if you have time:

PS:
1) My sites are outdated ATM because I don't have time to update them.

2) Photography is just my hobby, so, I'm a complete noob about it and any advise or criticism will be nicely appreciated.

very nice pics larry_68 which camdriver your using?

Posted by larry 68
pohuman's current driver. I'm convinced the pics could be better but my lens cover is full of dust and a strange smear which can only be seen in certain light and im not brave enough to remove it.

Posted by ceaser2008
@larry 68

Dont be brave to open the phone by yourself as you might end up damageing the camera button as i did. i also wanted to clean the camera glass but i have lost one very small part of camera button and now it is not working properly. The parts inside the camera button are so light weighted like feather it would disappear with your breathing.
Dont do it. You can give it to service centre to do the job.

Posted by mrscarrface
larry_68 did you use any settings or all Auto?

Posted by larry 68
@mrscarrface
All taken with settings, Auto, daylight, iso 100 and ev-0.3 and -0.7.

that picture was taken whit the codec ( i dont remember the name cybershot 6 , i think) made by pohuman, and is a probe of the quality of the k850 camera, i love this picture

Thank you, i've fallen back in love with my camera thanks to your hard work.

Also like to say the colour reproduction in these latest photo's is the best I've had since buying this phone.
