you think thats to good ???....(i video record this clips some months ago with my K850).

just use "night mode" at normal light, then you hoax the camera to push in more light then it really needs. (you get little less fps, but better quality)

K850 have by the way a VERY good microphone (for a cell phone), the video sound is often very clear and strong.

indoor... no edit of course
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWNUki9ACOg

and some outdoor, (taken in the evening...no edit)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=016Fdq3zdlU

indoor. WITH ONLY THE 3-POINT LED LAMP ON, (really dark around)

so the secret for recording good clips is to use night mode no matter if its daylight or not??

Posted by plankgatan
it dosent mather that much.. the camera follows quite good.

like you see here... fast skiing clips
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-u1Bl4zhwVc

many people who have seen this videos (on previous page) said that they havnt seen one single N95 or N82 with this video quality (im n ot kidding)....so k850 can shoot some really OK videos. (but compared with Viewty, N95, N82, K850 is crap)
------------------------------------------------

@masada1971...he he..i thought you knew that.

Yes, LED light is nice for that, but I dont think to record a video inside a cave, for exemple (about no light ambient for record) heheeheheheh

For me record video with phone is useful only for some moment, to night maybe one party or club (but both have artifial light)

Posted by plankgatan
no offend, but i havnt seen any really good N82 videos... (sure they arent crap, but not much better then K850). you have thousands with N82 videos on youtube, so i have seen them (enough...he he)

yeh, LED flash + Xenon flash is good to have sometimes

midsummer evening june 2008. (little to bright first 40 sec (wrong EV), gets better )

I don't like to use night mode unless I have to. I rather have a darker image with more fps. Personal choice I suppose. most of my videos are with regular mode.

Also - don't use youtube, they have wretched compression settings. Vimeo all the way.

I moved to them, thats why I have some on both.

Having said all that, I would MUCH rather have a higher resolution(VGA at least). I was very saddened to read that the C905 will not have it. I am starting to look at Nokia N96 for next phone.....

That`s true... Youtube sux alot... have a sh** compression... N82 video lose quality....

Posted by plankgatan
yes, but what i understand it have nothing about worse compression, (think youtube does the job as good as it can be), its about the resolution. with rapidshare for example it looks little sharper, but rapidshare runs in lower res....

Btw plank, do you have a plastic lens cover over the camera?

Here is with R1F everything on auto settings.
First was with flash, 2nd was without.
The flash killed everything except for what was focused.
The fluorescent lighting above the cake (chandaliers) was not that strong to give the picture a yellow-ish look, at least not from what I saw.

And a random picture.
