very nice picture. super sharp
K850 is still the indoor king
And it was taken with Auto Mode with the new firmware
Yes very good! I wanted to show you all what a minimal adjustments in a photo editor can do to a photo. All I did was auto white-balance and auto levels. Looks even better!

The sky can really be blue now - latest official firmware, all auto - daylight mode. The last one is edited!
Edited in Gimp - someone mentioned it in a post over her, had to try. Auto levels and turned a bit and cropped... it really helped.

Hello. This is my first post here.
I own a k850i since a month ago.
After sending it to the SE service centre a couple of times I can say I'm happy with it.
I'm pretty amazed about the quality on some pictures that most of you take with this phone.
I'm still having problems taking pictures at night using the xenon flash. All pictures seems to be "burned" with the flash, creating a very bright spot on people faces and objects that are close to the phone or are clear colored. I will really apreciate any advice from you about this issue.
Some pictures of Buenos Aires (my city), by my K850i. Hope u like them.
Sorry for my bad english.

Why does no one here test their K850? everyone always posts the same old stuff all the time, pictures in full daylight or with the flash.
Plank dude you love pics not for the composition but for the sharpness and colours etc, you love the phone that much thats all you care about. I wanna see some shots in here where the phone is tested. Some indoor shots with no flash, no one does that. Because everyone knows, especially you plank that the K850 sucks at indoor shots wihth bad lighting.
I like to try different things, im waiting for someone to try a HDR shot with this phone. I did one and its so hard because of the way the phone is layed out.
But what im trying to say is come on lets see some different stuff now guys, you dont need to keep taking pics of ppl in daylight then posting saying 'oh such amazing colours and sharpness' cus guess what? you know that already, stop testing the camera and test yourself.
Here is an indoor shot i took with no flash and i was pretty impressed with it
can we see more originality now guys?

first of all..... im not VERY impressed by this beer picture, its kind of blurry. its just ok i think.
second, i have post (most of all people i believe) a lot of indoor pics
cell phones cameras dosent handle super low light pics, how hard can it be ??? if you want to take really sharp low light pics, bye a DSLR camera.
BUT K850 manage best indoor pics of all cell phones i think.
all this indoor pics is taken in quite bad light with no flash of course, for me they are good enough

Plank my dear man - you 'never miss a shot' - nor do you ever get a poor picture with the K850i - well, I salute you my Swedish counterpart (I IKEA) - well done, keep fighting the Good fight - and to answer your last question - no, the Sensors in the K850i/SO905iCS are not the same...(^-^*)

Yes I edit photos with GIMP. I do not hide this fact. I normally put that fact in the post. I apologize for forgetting on this one. There is nothing wrong with tweaking a photo to make it look better. On this one I played with the levels and contrast, and added a vignette. Thanks for the compliments.
GIMP or any photo editor cannot take a crappy photo and save it. It must have good sharpness and resolution before it can be enhanced. Also, a good photo starts with a good composition, quality of camera is second in line to what you point it at.

@brewcaster
Totally agreed, the quality of the camera is second in line....
Very well said Dude, I salute you!
