@DonJuan
It looks exotic to me! Here we have a very gray winter with no snow so in our inlands there isn't many good photo opportunities in this weather right now. But you should take a trip over here and check out the nature. For instance the coastline around Stockholm. It's unique and the small islands that are everywhere actually makes it good for islandhopping. Me, i mostly hang around in the inland in the deep forests and the dark lakes in the summertime. I have a wonderful pic from the lake by my cottage but i don't dare post it here since it's been taken with a N73

Well i cleaned my enormous fish tank(15 liters!!)
And i tried to get some shots, but the little buggers won't stand still!
As you see (don't look at the fishes) there's nothing wrong with the focus.
I almost got the little bugger there, but not quite.

@DonJuan
Yup i know that "sport mode" is an option. But that option sometimes gives you grainy shots. Perhaps that mode need some more fiddling with other settings.

Set ISO to 400?

darren how did you like vegas dude?

profiles & stuff dosent mather so much
everything is about the light source on your "target".......if you have good light...and i mean right light...you can use which profile you want...the pic ends up good anyway)
with perfect light i mean....sunrise or sunset light...full daylight-sunshine is one of the worse light you can take pics at...(the light is way to bright/strong...you have to stay in the shadow then)
its all about the light........(special with cell phones..a real camera manage different ISO MUCH easier)

Well here's that fish again!
Used sport mode. And ISO set to auto. Some of the shots got grainy but most didn't. Hm i thought that there where no auto focus in sport mode but i think it did auto focus. Anyways i don't think you can get it much better than this with a cell phone camera. This kind of fish is only about 3 centimeters long and it is behind glass (and water) so...
The shot looks better when it's viewed in "normal" size-that is the size that the computer resize it to when it comes straight out of the phone and is viewed on the computer screen.

wow all those photo's look so good..it's like i'll never get those out of my k800.

plankgatan posted a few snaps of McDonalds some time back which also showed the red as pink and the sky as purple
I'm not sure updated firmware could fix the purple fringing problem (as this usually is a hardware problem), but the problem with red turning pink is definitely a software issue and hopefully this gets fixed soon.

Hi, this is my first time of sharing some nice shots I have taken with my beloved Cyber-shot K850i R1CA037...Enjoy...
It's the Spider-Man..
My sister's lovely rabbit digging up on the garden...
It's one of local flowers. Really pink...with macro shot..
I have no idea what's the name of this flower even in my native Indonesian language...
Can you guess what it is??
Another shot of flower...
It's Indonesian local food called "Tempe" or soy-bean cakes and "tahu" or tofu...fried so crispily...enjoy...
Some potatoes, onions and garlics...

The nearest words i can describe it, is amazing.
It really doesnt sleep, The whole thing was too much to take in for my first visit so will have to go again in a couple of years. But fantastic and i won a little money too so was even happier.
People were very friendly what people i met. But some of the shops were way out of my league in cost. lol
I did go into the sony shop in vegas just to see if they had the k850i, but they didnt.
Another pic of my phone of vegas
Oh and this was a ice cream i had in Disney in Florida

a little tip to everyone...check your white balance properley.............then you get thicker colors....

Searched for a good noise reduction software, i found Imagenomic Noiseware. maybe helpful for low light shots.
Left: 100% crop
Right: after running Noiseware Community Edition (free)
