@Jippi
Thanks.
I think the Beach/Snow setting gives a 'warmer' feeling to the colours but I'm not sure if I prefer them actually.
Posted by plankgatan
the problem with all snow pics is the light....you can use a N95/N82, Viewty, k850...etc, etc......non of this cell phones will produce super sharp snow-pictures...
you need a BIG lens and a much BIGGER/better sensor for that kind of job(light)....like a real system camera.....
i think plain auto works best with snow pics......not much you can do about it

@jippi and plankgatan,
what can you say at the cam shoot out between k850 and G800 that was run by gsmarena? (its inside the G800 review)
Posted by Muhammad-Oli
Thats a dusty T630i!!!

@crossmatched
Haven't read it yet. But I am happy with the phone and don't really care if there are other phones that are better or worse... that is good enough for me.

If you look carefully some pictures of the test you will notice that some pictures are sharper with the K850i. The colors are best with the G800? Ok, it's easy to reduce exposure and choose white balance most appropriate. You want more sharpness? Choose documents mode and reduce exposure.
An example
Chains are more sharp than the samsung.
I'm no Plankgatan but this is what i'm thinking about.

@Plankgatan
That thing you were counting seems to be interesting, what subject is it??
(edit: I can see that you are using g=10m/s^2 , 9.82 is more exact )

its physics-Hydraulic...im studying to engineer
(you get full points on the examination if you use 10 m/s^2 instead of 9.82 m/s^2....because they are interested, how you count it out)..
ps..did you know that "g"..(the gravity isnt the same at the rest of the world

WOW im really dumbfounded by those amazing pics guys! of all the reviews saying the k850 cam is mess... well i know they are wrong.. these last few pics are simply amazing...
haha i like the macro shots... it seems to be mechanics your doing rite bro? im gonna be entering college soon... and right now in school they are makin us use 9.8... WTF!! lol 10 is such a better number for "g".. haha anyway...
due to this topic i have rethought about the k850 being a really good CAMERAphone... maybe better than a n95...
Posted by plankgatan
yeehh
buy a k850...its manage most pics realy good..(special indoor, macro & of course flash)..and with a new firmware..it will eat N82 like nothing
so you learning this kind of mathematics, its realy fun with "non"logic mathematics.....
also remember that this pic is taken in quite bad indoor light...think its telling how good the sensor realy is

And here are few taken with N95 first series, latest FW, just for sake of comparison. They're taken in the same conditions as the K850i ones:

I think that the K850 take better pics then that. The N95 take so " Blurry " pictures, the K850 take more sharp pictures
Posted by plankgatan
Nokias phones have never produced natural colors/contrast...but they are often sharp...to sharp
like a good picture better...looks more real

Well, the photos are in the natural size and thery're not stored on their server. It was with best intentions and it was easier. If they mind, feel free to remove them.

Notice how the dog's eyes turn green from the flash, while human eyes turn red . . . I wonder if the red eye removal function most popular photo editing apps provide can handle green eyes?

I tried, does not work. It is looking for a specific color spectrum that human eyes reflect from a xenon flash. Photoshop is your only option.

I tried your photo in the latest version of PSP (Paint Shop Pro). It has a red eye removal tool that also allows animal eyes:

No, sorry. But the price is quite reasonable, at least compared to Photoshop.

Not really. Don't see the point having a billion phones unless you are some kind of tester. Ok two phones is good so that you can have a backup or that you need a second phone that doesnt carry a camera(do to busines secrets on you job) or if your primary phone goes missing.

i think its should be realy nice to have this collection...i seem them like "art"....think they are beatiful to look at..
(awesome small products, who manage a lot of things .realy nice collection.
ps....(this phones are not mine, (sadly)
