Surely I’m not the only one out here who listens to electronic dance techno house downbeat styles of music, am I?
Right now I’m getting the biggest kick out of Groove Armada’s At The River. I also like Moby, Chemical Bros., Air, Basement Jacks, Daft Punk, etc.
My favorite things are live DJ mix sets. I have several from Paul Oakenfold, as well as Tiesto, LTJ Bukem, etc. My favorite is Doc Martin. Anyone ever heard of him?
I used to tape onto DAT many DJ’s who spun at raves and underground clubs happening in Los Angeles during the mid-90’s.
I love chillin at my new P4 2.53, T68i blinking green leds on my desk, listening to At The River and browsing Esato.
I really hope it doesn’t go.
So anyone else out there in esatoland listen to electronic or dance music?

One of the best concerts I went to was the Chemical Brothers at the Brixton Academy, great to see live
Posted by T68iFan
@Fingers
Yes, that must have been cool. I saw Chem Bros at the Hardrock Hotel in Las Vegas like 5 years ago. They definitely rocked!
Anyone here like Paul Oakenfold?

Your defiantly not the only one listing to electronica T68iFan :>
I've been listening to electronica for about six or seven years now. I love the humping beats, streaming grooves and slamming tunes.
Trance/techno/club/house/hardhouse is not very common here in the states. Hardly any of my friends listen to it. There has to be some more clubbhead on esato, like boyi said ;p

I joined last night mate,i like the way you can change the look of the page with the themes option, nice work, but quite a few link's dont work, good idea to start a website like you have, keep it up mate
Posted by thumbandit
the themes thing isnt 100% implemented yet so id return ot the default NSN Blue
Posted by Avatar235
Hellraiser - harder, faster dirtier than most other club
Rob D - everyone loves classical music when a base line is included
Nick Skitz - Aussie DJ, he's alright, sometimes plays that poppy tinny shite
A*S*Y*S - german DJ, great stuff
Avatar235 - two releases, both independant and very hard to get, cos i dont sell it in stores!
Posted by martino
@Avatar235: do you have a web site where i can listen som some of you homemade stuff?
Posted by Avatar235
I havent sent it to a server, because im really against people spreading my stuff on the web, sorry mate. Just wait for the official release, and buy my friendship
Posted by Ben.Cook
Used to be really in to house, now prefer more downbeat stuff. Favourite album is still Kruder & Dorfmeister's K&D sessions, very old but still can't be beaten IMHO!
Like most types of music though. Going to see Blur on 2nd of Dec at Brixton Academy.
Posted by martino
@Avatar235: I see. Who is you record label?
Posted by Avatar235
I don't have one, i sell direct. Every CD i do is personally printed (photo paper), stamped and sent. Im working on a deal with the local sanity store to sell them in the independant section.

My favorit artists are:
DJ Tiesto
DJ Overdog
Sven Fath
DJ Talla 2XLC
DJ Taucher
Goa Syndrom

@Avatar235: Sounds cool. Are you doing it for the money or just for fun?
Posted by Avatar235
Im doing for fun at the moment, but ill release some soon, when i get around to it.

Yep, im a keen fan of Dance, i love the "scooter-esque" music! Ive gone as far as to make some myself, check it out and tell me what you think.
Here (right-click)
Ignore the voice samples, they're pretty crappy.
Posted by Miss UK
Scooter omg lol :-p kkk im gonna check ya traxx friday nite then ;-)
Posted by nickorooster
Hehe, scooter is just what im listening to now. Usually its Daft Punk, Ian van Dahl, Darude, or something along those lines.
I mostly listen to pre-mixed compilations, my favourites being:
MOS-Clubbers Guide 2004
and
Ibiza-History of Trance (must Buy!)
But yeah, im addicted to Scooters "Weekend", "Friends" and "How much is the Fish" along with his new "one" (geddit?) and some classics (Raving, Back in UK etc)

Don't buy any uk comps anymore they have to be really gud before i decide lol .. Bonkers are brill comps check them out :-D
Posted by nickorooster
Yeah, so most of his stuff is cheese. But he has some good ones, and shake that must be one of them. It's actually a pretty good song. And I have it, and I'm in the UK...
Well anyways, check out my song!

Yo! Dance n techno r my favs plus emo rock muzik. Favs song r the clown song by p control and otha with a great bassline*Future*

Very much love my doof, dont think that the neighbours do thou! Most of my cd collection consists of Mixmag complictions (british dance mag cd's). Have 1 Oakenfold mix, 'Voyage into Trance'; abit rough but good nonetheless. Fav dj would be Pee Wee Ferris from australia, heavy bass, sometimes scary and similar to Hellraiser. Clubbing is not huge here in Hobart, aus' , but we sure as hell make the most of it. Moguai playing here early January + several German dj's, looking forward to that night.

I like Clubland stuff, but its getting crap now. Clubland Extreme 1 and 2 are good, but clubland 3,4,5, are terrible. And you cant beat SCOOTER!
