Mate, you don't lose anything to try putting K800 camera driver on a T650. But first make yourself sure you have the original T650 camera driver to put it back in case the k800 one don't work.

Anyway my opinion is if you put k800 driver in your T650 there are 2 reasons it won't work properly (or worse, it wouldn't work at all):

1. T650 is not a CyberShot phone;
2. K800 flash is Xenon one while the T650 is ordinal LED flash.

I haven't tried T650 in my hands to see if the camera interface and options are the same as K800 (cybershot) phones. But if they have the same interface... you may be just lucky for it to work... So you can give it a try

Ive tried with the T650 driver in my K810 & it does not work.

Posted by nebraska
what do you mean by "mod"? sorry I'm french... lol
What do you man exactly?

Posted by number1
well i made a modded driver,

bigger buffers,
95-100% compression fine,
92-89% compression normal,
doc mode redone
increase and fix sharpness all modes,
20fps video,
longer night shutter.

no idea if it works or not i may have messed up the compression i think it works backwards to the k800i driver i wasn't sure and gussed, any1 who wants to test it pm me.

Do you think it is possible to make mods which aloud the t650 to capture videos in 320x200 instead of 144x177, since the camera is 3Mpixels it could be able to...?
thx

Posted by nebraska

have you ever used xs++ before the camdriver goes in ifs/settings/camera

Posted by number1
if you have never used xs++ before then
download and run
http://www.4shared.com/file/27136649/66d24c3d/gg-setup.html

you need xs++3.1 from
http://www.4shared.com/file/32041400/2dffdc6/XS_online.html

run xs++.exe
take out ur phone battery
press connect
put phone battery back in and plug ur phone into pc holding down C
click FSX
click start FSX
browse to ifs/settings/camera
click upload
now find my camdriver0.dat
double click it and it will upload and replace ur old camdriver0.dat
press shutdown then yes
press close and disconnect phone

ok thank u for the explanations

Just a question before testing, will I be able to go back and put the original driver into my phone if something wrong with your driver?

I know you are a good programmer but in case of trouble ....

Posted by nebraska
hello

it is not possible to zoom in 3MP mode, only in vga mode (640x480)

Concerning videos, they are quite bad isn't it? lol
No possibility of making mp4, the only possible mode is 3gp in 177x144x15fps, poor mode I know....

Number1 on this post made a modded driver which increases the fps up to 30
I didn't test it yet

Posted by sonydavid
when are you going 2 test it?

Posted by interloper
i guess drivers for T650 are the same as k770 ?

Posted by nebraska
not exactly the same as k770 because of the keypad/D-Pad, lightening effects, etc.. but some similarities

I'm going to test the modded driver before the end of this week, can do it before coz lack of time

Anyone can test it immediately if he wants, the link to download it is in this post

Posted by nebraska
hello

I've tested it, it seems to work correctly!
Video capture seems to be smoother, photos sharper and clear
Very good improvements !!
I installed it this morning so I will wait a little to see if everything is working good, but I'm confident
have a nice day

88% compression, were you using fine or normal quality and was that an outdoor shot, like with the k800i i find it only gives about 88% compression on outdoor shots.

Posted by nebraska
it is an indoor shot but with very much sunlight (next to a window)
it was shot in fine mode

no problem you're welcome!
the average kb is about 1,5Mb, depends on weather conditions, the subjects shooted, etc
so it is a good compression don't you think?

Posted by sonydavid
if you are asking for the original camdriver is about 700 to 800kb. if that helps you
