Hola..

has anyone had any luck doing this at all?

Been reading the scream buy it all goes way over my head (I don't do networking)

if anyone has got it working, fancy letting me know how to do it?

basically I've got a BT home hub but don't use BT as my ISP therefore hub is useless...

I should imagine the only way would be to upgrade the firmware to a standard speedtouch 7G version, wouldn't it?

Problem is, you might have to reverse engineer the 7G firmware to make the home hub think it's a BT version, unless there's some other way of tricking it.

That's where I've been looking but it might as well be in greek..

I draw the line at VB.. That's as technical I go with PCs and as for networking? HA.. yeah right, I use a mac, plug it in and away I go!!

Try giving it a gentle bash with a wooden mallet! works wonders with our TV we now get Welsh channels!

The bloody things are programmed to not allow anything other than an @btinternet.* username.
