It gives the general idea of what you are trying to show but it isn't the best PS in the world.

Not saying I could do any better!

Posted by A L 3 X
yh....give me some constructive criticism...on the z00med in its a bit off matching the colour but when zoomed out it seems ok

Posted by MWEB
The iffy carbon fibre bonnet needs some work IMO. otherwise it's OK

Posted by Coxy
I have the pic saved so I can see it in all it's glory!

Well the front grille for starters is a bit dodgy. The main (middle) grille isn't straight at the bottom and the whole thing looks a little "cartoony". As do the wheels, especially with the caliper showing at the front and the way the inside of the tire is cut straight. Also, I realise the car is on a weird angle but the way the left grille is, in comparison to the right side is pretty dodgy too. The carbon fibre bonnet ain't too bad though, but it does need a little work to make it more realistic.

IMO do a head on view, side view and rear view to show it off better.

Personally i think its a great job

Posted by A L 3 X
at last...a compliment with no downsides

Posted by Adz21
you need to straighten the front wheel, only one is turned. I think you need to raise the front a bit too it doesn't line up with the sides. Nice job though

Posted by se_p800
I think its looks mint. But if i saw it for the first time , I probably would think it was PS and it doesnt look 10% real. geat work though! Id drive it

Posted by djtwistter
nice work just redo the bumpers lool

Posted by Alexandra
That is one NICE looking Astra, prefer if you did an SS Commodore though.

Posted by Miss UK
It's a Vauxhall Corsa @ Alexandra

Alex very nice is that what you plan to do yours?

My mate has that shape actually the other 1 before they messed with the bumpers on it

Posted by Alexandra
In Australia it is a holden astra, I would've thought in Britain it would be called a vauxhall astra.

Down here a Corsa is a commodore whose engine has been made really powerful (more so than HSV)

Posted by Danny_BFC
lawl i remember the SS Commadore from Need for speed

Tis stange how they give em different names around the world. The UK vauxhall nova is called the Opel Corsa in most other countries.

So all you corsa drivers are really nova drivers, ha ha. (or all nova drivers could be classed as corsa drivers, but thats not really an insult!)

Or Astra drivers?

The UK Corsa as pictured was called the barina in oz. The UK astra is the Holden Astra and is not what is pictured.
The Nova was not called the Nova in europeis Nova is spanish means no go which doesnt sound good. The second generation Nova was called the corsa here in the UK to make it line up with the rest of the european Opel group.

Posted by Alexandra
To me it looked like an Astra. My mistake, I don't follow small cars very closely. Anyway, our Barina is sourced from Korea (a re-skinned Daewoo Kalos)

Posted by masseur
yeah, my wife had a couple of Holden Barina's. The Barina used to be a rebadged suzuki swift but then Holden changed it for the imported corsa. She had one of each but we decided since she karts the kids around that it was a particular safe car so she got a V6 Commodore making her car more powerful than mine, a Saab Cabrio... She's a Hoon!

Dammit, 5 kilowatts more than my mums car (2001 BMW X5 3.0)

Why's the brake caliper an Audi RS one?

Couldn't you find anything VXR?

Posted by Miss UK
here we have a Vauxhall Astra

I watched that Aussie soap thingy Cath & Kym last week and the wench was driving a old shape Corsa had a different badge on it though but it looks like a Corsa

Opel is the German version of Vauxhall

Posted by Miss UK
In that pic ive posted above thats the Opel badge..
however the Kath & Kym car had a different badge on it even though it was a Corsa lolz

Posted by A L 3 X
will have been the holden badge methinks

http://www.history.sa.gov.au/[....]ons/holden%20logo%20colour.jpg

that logo?

if nto could have been a customized ride of a factory tune model as some makers do...Brabus, Alpina etc

My friend, you need to log onto Digimods.co.uk and look at the photoshop tutorials!
The bumpers at the completely wrong angle to the car.
The selections of the paint, car, etc are choppy, no precision or smooth lines, all cuts and edges.
The tints look too dark and without reflections or something on the windscreen they let it down and make it look fake.
The front bumper, aside from being the wrong angle also has no appearance of depth or detail.
The yellow paint appears to be too light and opaque too, needs some variation.
The rear wheel is great but the front wheel is totally the wrong angle so looks off camber.

Lil bit of constructive criticism, But thats cause I did it for years then gave up!

Keep going though mate! You'll be like Pete Smith in no time haha

Posted by Miss UK
it could've been that Alex

More the international version of Vauxhall. They only called it Vauxhall here to make it sound more British to attract more customers to the brand.

Posted by jcwhite_uk
Opel is european not international.
The Corsa is sold under the Opel badge in Europe (except the UK), Vauxhall in the UK, in south america as a Chevrolet and was in australia as a Holden Barina (the current Barina is a rebadged chevrolet/ daewoo kalos.)
